DiFiore Ravioli Shop of Ellington

I always drive by here, but have never stopped in before today. I am glad I finally did-- a gem of a local market in Ellington, DiFiore has a great selection of fresh made pastas, baked goods, oils, and hot food at reasonable prices. There are spaces to order at the counter and dine in at the cozy sitting room, or get takeout. I got takeout penne alla vodka (came w/ a complimentary focaccia) and two cannoli, both were delicious.

Decided to have lunch at the DiFiore Ravioli Shop in Ellington with a friend a couple weeks ago. It was a lovely September afternoon, so we took advantage of it and sat outside after ordering. The young man who delivered our food was incredibly polite and cheerfully friendly. I ordered the butternut squash with browned sage butter (ricotta/parmesan/fall spices/white wine/sage), and my friend got the orecchiette siciliano (crumbled sausage/roast peppers/caramelized onions/EVOO/garlic). Oh, my goodness, our dishes were awesome. And huge and filling (we each brought a container home). But we had a little room for half a slice of cheesecake. It’s easily the best slice I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back to eat, but they’ve also got a great shop inside with premium products.

Great little shop! Fresh pasta, sauce, olive oil blends, vinegarettes, dine in or shop. Friendly staff.

Fantastic service, very kind and receptive and offered my little guy (3) a candy so he was happy which makes me happy. Food was outstanding, try the pizza by the register as a bonus 😋 This place is just authentic. Very happy.

Worked a long day today (5 am to 6 pm) so needless to say I didn't want to cook, first time stopping here in ellington an so glad I did, got a ready to cook lasagna an I will say it was the best lasagna I've had (don't tell my mom I Said that) 10 outta 10 for taste an the woman behind the counter was very nice an inviting even tho I was very dirty from work an covered in concrete an oil. First time but will Def not be the last time!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, the chicken francaise, the sausage grinder as well as the sfoiatelle, cheesecake, and tiramisu we purchased from your establishment. All were outstanding and simply delicious!! This establishment is truly a gem and well worth a stop!

I live about half an hour from DiFiore’s in Ellington and stop there every time I’m in the area to stock up on raviolis. So far we have tried the cheese, sausage, lobster, and shrimp raviolis. They are all delicious! Our favorite is the shrimp and garlic! The fresh loaves of bread are to die for! Best bread I’ve ever had in my life. We have been trying a couple different desserts each time we go as well. Everything we have tried has been amazing. Everyone who works at DiFiore’s has been very friendly and helpful when I’ve gone in. The other customers are always in a good mood as well and it’s fun to chat with the other customers about what everyone is trying or has tried before. I highly recommend!

I ordered pastry for a group. I ordered it ahead of time. It was packaged in perfect serving covered trays. Their pastries are excellent. I ordered 5 different varieties and everything was ready when I arrived for pickup. This establishment is highly recommended

2 visits in the last 2 weeks, each time I got more than what I came for. Not a great place if you are looking for average food & low calories, but if you aren’t afraid of the calories matching the flavor this is the spot! Never gonna be a skinny man! Soooo much more to try and I look forward to every bite to come!

What a great spot. Fresh home made pasta and Italian specifically foods. Easy location and awesome customer service.

I got a piece of pizza really good and the cookie was delicious, my adult boy’s really liked the chicken buffalo ravioli very good and different will be back to try the different olive oils😊

Any meal is wonderful at DiFiori’s. The market is a huge bonus. Fresh ingredients and lovely people. What could be better.

I love DiFiore's ravioli shop in Ellington! A great ittle Italian pasta shop with all kinds of Italian goodies. Pastas of every variety. So many different sauces. Bakery style pizza, grinders, candies, cookies, you name it! Service is very friendly and they are reasonably priced. You can sit down and have a sandwich or cappuccino, etc. My favorites are the Chicken Française, the canoli, the fresh Italian bread and dinner rolls from SanRemo bakery, the garlic cream sauce and thier linguini. The fettuccine Alfredo picture is thier fettuccine boiled and thier Alfredo heated up. Yum. Yum.

My wife and I placed a large catering order with Colleen at DiFiore Ravioli Shop for our wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased with the level of service and professionalism from Colleen and the rest of the staff there. We ordered stuffed shells, chicken francaise, pesto ravolini, hot sausage and peppers, focciaca bread, cannolis, and an Italian cookie platter. Everyone was blown away with the quality and the flavor of the food, leaving lasting impressions and numerous guests asking where the food was from. This place is a hidden gem located in the heart of Ellington, and we highly recommend them for a weeknight dinner or to cater your next event. Thank you so much, DiFiore Ravioli Shop!

I have been wanting to try this place and so glad I did! The butternut squash, spaghetti and sausage, and the orchietta pasta was outstanding!!! A lovely place inside and great outdoor seating as well. Staff was so nice and the coconut chocolate brownies were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back!

We bought catering this morning for my son's 5th birthday party. The food was incredible. So good we forgot to take pictures! Chicken and Eggplant Parm were fantastic. House made focaccia was also excellent. Really great for the value.

I really enjoy their pastas and grinders, especially the penne a la vodka and the chicken cutlet grinder. They also have delicious Sicilian style pizza and store made cookies. Everything is very fresh and authentic. To top it off, they’re always very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
