Food is pretty good and not overpriced. I was pleasantly impressed with how quickly everything was served. Whole staff was alert, attentive, and friendly. My 5-year-old enjoyed sitting at the counter so she could watch the crew make the burgers. Really good chocolate shakes, too.

Have been wanting to come here for awhile now, it's a bit of a drive so I had to come up to the zoo since it was a good day. I have to say that this spot is far better than any five guys I have been to. I ended up getting the double cheeseburger with bacon and grilled Onions, strawberry shake and the fries/onion rings combo. The fry/ring combo a 👍 up, the burger was juicy and the shake was delicious. I can't wait to come back up here again.

White Hut has been around forever, and under newer ownership is better than ever. The American dogs, burgers and fries now has more company on the menu with a crispy chicken sandwich and ice cream bar. I still love to eat at the counter and be entertained by the jovial staff!

Old School burger barn, opened in 1939. Offers burgers, hot dogs, sides and a breakfast menu. Really good onion rings. Tasty milk shakes to finish off your meal. Great food at great prices. You shouldn't leave hungry!

What a great place! The staff were so fun and nice. You get to watch them cook your food. The cook was a great trainer, too, to the others. And the breakfast sandwich was tasty! Had sausage and egg on a water roll. My friend had an omelet. Fast, good, hot, and served with a smile. What more do you need?!

Fantastic Food & Service.
The place is very clean. The staff makes first timers feel right at home. The omelette was cooked on a flat top grill instead of a pan and it just comes out much better. Lots meat and cheese. The hash browns were very crispy. The coffee and rye toast is very good. Easy access and ample parking.

I grew up in West Springfield and coming back to visit from Atlanta I had to stop White Hut for a month watering cheeseburger 🍔 with fried onions! This place has been open since 1939 and the quality speaks for itself.

Solid stop for burgers, fries, shakes, etc…. Burgers are on the small side but very good, order 2 or more if really hungry. Fast friendly service from the cooks.

So finally tried out the chilli cheese dogs. Amazing 🤩😍 definitely where I will be getting my fix in Springfield area!

been coming here forever. hated to see how often they closed again to retrain people or whatever. fantastic burgers.

i kinda wish they salted their burgers. kinda feels like they're just serving for the people who came here when it opened 80 years ago more than the ones that will be keeping it open in the long run. won't stop coming though. ever.

Don’t look at those 1 star reviews. TOTALLY GO HERE!!! Food is out in under 5 minutes and is some of the best I’ve had. Employees are very nice. Food is fresh and doesn’t taste like it has been reheated or frozen. If you are in the Springfield area and are hungry go here!

Good for fast food made fresh to ordrr like hotdogs cheese burgers fries milkshakes ettcc.... quick service also.

First time trying out white hut and definitely coming back, the service was great very friendly. The chicken sandwhich and the coffe milkshake are so good!

Awesome food. Friendly staff. Very quick getting orders out. Way better than chain fast food restaurants. It’s like stepping back in time. Definitely recommend getting a cheeseburger with the fried onions and a shake. Onion rings are awesome as well.

Great staple located in west Springfield, right over the bridge and 5 minutes from MGM casino, make sure to check out White Hut for their all the way burger and dogs.

This is a classic American burger place. A lot of people will boast about their grilled onions. But I’ll say something different, the staff are pleasant, the atmosphere gives a classic 60’s vibe with good burgers and hot dogs. Wether it’s a hamburger or a hot dog, or even a bag of fries, this place has it. You’re going to find yourself ordering more than just one burger or hot dog so plan ahead here. (And yes, the grilled onions are that good)

A western, MA classic! The burgers and fries are always great and don't forget to order with fried onion on it! The place is small, which adds to its charm...but also its line. It's pretty quick but if you go right at lunch time you will have a hard time finding somewhere to sit. Totally worth the visit.
