Dean Cabinetry

We worked with Dean Cabinetry on our kitchen renovation in December/January. We started the process in June. I point that out to emphasize the patience and care they showed with our project. Selecting the type of cabinetry we wanted proved harder than I expected. Through that time they answered my million questions and were so generous with letting us hang on to samples. Once we selected the cabinets they were thorough in the planning, coming out multiple times to check measurements, go over the layout etc. Our installation process was so smooth. Details were checked and rechecked and finalized once we gave the final go ahead. Every person we worked with at each step was professional, kind, thorough, and committed to providing us a quality product. A kitchen renovation is stressful to begin with - they made this as easy as I could hope for. I would absolutely use them again.

Deans Cabinetry were incredibly methodical, professional, timely and so friendly to deal with. They take the time to work with you on your vision and help create the perfect space to your budget. They run an impressive operation and have attention to detail like no other. I would thoroughly recommend them in any renovation or build scenario where you need Kitchen, Bar, Laundry or Bathroom cabinetry.

We had these beautifully crafted corner bench seats made at Dean Cabinetry. We needed to make the best use of our small kitchen and that's were Dean came in. They worked closely with us and we came up with a plan. The bench seats are twenty four inches high to accommodate the table that will be counter hieght. The seats themselves have four tops that open for storage.

Dean Cabinetry is amazing. We didn’t just replace cabinets but redesigned our entire kitchen. Paul was extremely helpful in the redesign, he answered every question and made suggestions based on his years of experience but in the end didn’t pressure us one way or the other. Paul also visited our home to take measurement and when the cabinets arrived everything fit perfectly, way to go Paul. All of our cabinets arrived the day before the scheduled install. Keaton our installer is awesome, he single-handedly installed all the cabinets in a day and a half, what a professional. After our countertops and floors were installed, Keaton returned to complete the finishing touches and everything looks amazing. I could not be happier with Dean Cabinetry. Not only is the Dean Cabinetry team ultra professional but surprisingly affordable as well. I highly recommend speaking with Dean Cabinetry before any kitchen renovation project regardless of your budget. Bravo Dean Cabinetry!

I was thrilled with the design work that Dean Cabinetry created for my kitchen remodel. We had limited space to work with but Dean was able to create a design that made all of the space more functional and open it up. The installation process was timely and communication was clear through the whole process on what to expect. There were some minor paint/glaze issues with some cabinet doors but Dean took care of it during the punch list process. Altogether a great experience.

Dean Cabinets was great to work with. The quality of the millwork and the workmanship is great. We are thrilled with our kitchen.

The painted finish is beautiful and communication was excellent. Their installers were efficient and left the job site clean making it a pleasant experience! My wife and I recently did a kitchen renovation. Part of that adventure was replacing all of our cabinets. The process is not for the “faint of heart,” unless, that is, you have contracted with Dean Cabinetry.

We cannot say enough about the level of professionalism, courtesy, and quality they extended to us in every phase of the ordering, construction, and installation of our cabinets. John, Kevin, and their extremely talented crew eliminated the anxiety for us with one of the largest elements of our project. Their approach to business and clients should be a “how to” case study for all construction related entities (or any others, for that matter).

Dean Cabinetry did complete custom cabinetry for our new kitchen (part of a larger home remodel). Working with an architect (John Schroeder, AIA), Dean collaborated in design and helped us to fine tune the cabinet inside structures for maximal use. Meeting with Sean & the architects about the cabinet design and options went very well, and he was able to advise on some of those finishes and functionality.

Where they really shined was through the installation team. Even through some minor hiccups, Jake and his crew rolled with the punches and worked out any on-site or material or design issues with grace. The finish work on all of our cabinets and trim is impeccable thanks to his work. Image Marble and Granite was able to come in and fit our countertop flawlessly, and Dean Cabinetry provided the butcher block island top. Lilywork Tile (Old Saybrook) did a custom backsplash, and coordinated well with Dean Cabinetry's schedule.

Throughout the project the whole team was great to work with and have even made improvements to workflow since our project.

We used Dean Cabinetry in 2017 and I can’t believe I never wrote a review. They are awesome to work with and worked around our budget. The cabinets have held up well. Do not under any circumstances baby proof your cabinets with anything that sticks right to the cabinet 🙄 - my only regret 🫠

Excellent communication and quality service. Five years into our new kitchen and one of our appliance handles popped off (we are a family of 7 so lots of wear and tear!) Dean Cabinetry was able to send someone quickly to fix it while accommodating our busy schedules. Service was prompt and Keaton did a great job! Nice to know they are only a phone call away for those little touch up jobs.

The entire process went so well and we were very pleased with the results. I needed an installer for a small project in my home and after a web search, selected Dean Cabinetry based on reviews. My initial contact with Kevin was great because of his professionalism and integrity. His quote was very fair, he followed up several times (which is unheard of) because the shipment of our cabinetry was significantly delayed. The installer was punctual and the installation looks excellent. We would absolutely work with them again, and would be happy to refer this company!

I LOVE my new kitchen. The process from start to finish could not have been more perfect. The Dean Cabinetry team worked with me every step of the way and was quick to respond to every question I had. They met my needs but also made amazing suggestion on how to layout the cabinets throughout my kitchen. Their input could not have been any better. I am not sure there are enough words to convey how much we absolutely love the cabinets we received from Dean Cabinetry. From start to finish they helped us turn our West Hartford house into our forever home!

We were first introduced to Dean by our contractor Jason Levesque who recommended them over all other cabinet companies in the area. After our first meeting with Leah we knew this was who we wanted to go with. She listened to all of our wants/needs and took the time to really understand the look we were going for as well as the budget we had in mind. She then led us to Paul who helped us with the design of our kitchen. We went with a semi-custom Kith-Eudora cabinet for our renovation. ( full kitchen and 2 baths) Paul was able to help us get that custom feel without breaking the bank or making us feel that we needed to spend more in order to get what we wanted. He even went above and beyond a month after we had placed our order when we decided we wanted to add a small pantry cabinet that he was able to order and get in on time with the rest of the cabinetry. There was never a "that can't happen" attitude, it was always a "let me see how we can make that happen" attitude. He truly went above and beyond to make our cabinets everything we could have wanted.

After designing and ordering with Paul, we then were introduced to Kevin with the install team. He explained exactly how the install would happen and all the details of what we needed to know and have in order for the install to take place. He was always readily available to answer any questions. On the day of install Keaton and his partner were beyond professional and very thorough, any issues that they saw they fixed right away or made sure to make note so that they could come back and fix it at a later date. There were so many little details that I would have missed if it were not for both of them noticing and taking pride to make sure that everything was perfect. Lastly, after the final punch list was reviewed and everything was fixed I was emailed by Kevin to make sure I was happy with everything and to also check up about a special partition I had mentioned to Keaton about in one of the cabinets. It was a little extra something that I didn't know if it was even possible to do, but Kevin asked me what I was looking for and said it was no issue and could have someone out there that day to make my dream kitchen complete.

The whole team at Dean cabinetry is really just amazing from start to finish. They listen to their clients and truly take pride in all of their work. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out and can't wait to host the team for cocktails at our new 9 foot island! We first used Dean Cabinetry in 2013 when they made us a custom bathroom vanity. It surpassed our expectations, and it became the "favorite bathroom" of every person who saw it. We knew Dean would do our dream kitchen one day, which was completed in 2022. They built our custom cabinets which included inset/fully integrated paneling for our SubZero and Cove appliances and also a dry bar and pantries in the adjoining room. Every detail that I imagined, they could do. From start to finish, they became our partners and our friends, making sure every bit was handled and that we were taken care of. The installation was the highest quality possible and they will be there until every inch is exactly right. Integrity is the core of their business and they are one of a small handful of names we would recommend in the industry. We could not be happier - thank you to the entire team!
