Misty Vale Deli & General Store

I made a fairly quick pit stop at Misty Vale Deli & General Store to grab some lunch yesterday afternoon on the recommendation from a buddy of mine who said the Sizzling Sirloin Sandwich is good, which it was. It was a good deal too. I also had a bag of Deep River Jalapeño chips to go with it. Those were a little bit pricey, but the sandwich offset the cost a little.
The have many, many great sounding items on the menu.
This place is always very busy, so I knew it would be good and worthwhile stopping in.
The people who are running it are nice.
Bottom line; I’m glad I went there.

Hands down such an amazing place. They have such a great selection of food and snack I would type it all out but it would take forever! I got the grilled chicken guacamole sandwich on a wrap and ITS SO FLAVORFUL AND LIGHT minus the bacon but who can say no to crispy bacon. I bought my boyfriend the Lorenzo's Chicken sandwich and he loved . But nothing beats the homemade potato chips.... I can’t even lie I will crave those everyday.

This place is fast!! And very good, and you can beat the price.
The meat was soft and juicy and the top was nice and crispy.

Plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly.

I have to find this place again because it was so good. I ordered the grill chicken guacamole bacon sandwich on flat bread and it was amazing for the second time. Highly recommend people to visit. And there price are so affordable. My sand which was about 5.50

Great food amazing prices. Breakfast sandwiches are loaded with meat or veggies of choice. Many unique sandwiches I stop here whenever I am in the area and even drive the 30-40minutes just to get a "flagpole" and some onion rings

Best deli in Connecticut. The burgers are so dang good, and so is everything else! I come all the way from new milford weekly just to eat here. We need one in New Milford asap! We have absolutely no great delis like this!

I am grateful that this gem is near my office. I tried it out for the first time this week and was blown away. I did my usual nonsense and ordered a complicated off-menu mushroom sandwich. They were spot-on!! Usually places always get one aspect of the order wrong, but they hit the nail on the head. On top of that, the quality of all their ingredients was fresh and amazing. This place is always busy always busy I had a tuna wrap I'm a veggie person . they have all types of sandwiches meats and burgers you name it. but the locals there my God the place is always busy. last time we went there we where sitting outside eating a guy asked hey would one of you gentlemen like a pheasant my buddy grabbed the pheasant out the truck freshly shot the place is great Sandy Hook Connecticut I believe.

Every time I show up at Misty Vale Deli. I am welcomed with "Hello, how may I help you". I place my breakfast order and as I fill my cup with hot coffee, they tell me that my sausage, egg and cheese sandwich orders are ready for pick up. It's amazing! That sort of service is hard to come by. Makes me feel like a valued customer. It seems like they also care about my time too. It is worth noting how much they appreciate the community of Sandy Hook and look forward to our return each morning. Thank you and continue the excellent work. This is highly appreciated.

This place is so good. I finally stopped after passing it so many times and I am so happy I did. The sandwich was delicious, they have a little market inside, and the staff was delightful. Will absolutely return when I'm in the area.

It is absolutely insane that you can get a STACKED deli sandwich with fresh ingredients and creative combinations for less than $6. Yea, that is not a typo, the average price of a full size sandwich here is $5.25. I got 2 sandwiches, 2 bottles of soda and a large bag of chips for less than $20. Both sandwiches were fresh, one was hot off the grill the other was cold cuts with some dressing. Tons of flavor from both. Definitely going to be stopping here every time I have a job in the area from now on.

Food is delicious. I had a ham and cheese grinder, and sweet potato fries. No complaints there. One of the best grinders I've ever had. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food was made very quickly. Good prices too. Prices on their website are not the same as inside. But I do highly recommend.

Love this place. Online ordering makes grabbing breakfast on the way to work a breeze without any order errors. Their breakfast sandwich special is the best deal I've seen and I drive across CT every day for work, not to mention they're delicious too! And their steak and cheese is also fantastic and affordable.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Massachusetts. The sandwiches were some of the best we’ve ever had!!! I got the chicken avocado on flatbread and he got the Reuben. Both were excellent! The prices are very reasonable, my husband and I were both shocked at how much we got for the price. The only drawback was that they have no public bathroom.

Quick service. Food served fresh and hot. Baked goods never disappoint and salads are always tasty. All my sons love the place. And it's always a lunch stop for them.

Best breakfast specials in the state of CT. Ham/sausage/bacon egg and cheese on giant roll $1.75 before 11am. Great omelettes and and big breakfast plates too. I eat here every time I'm in the are. They make a wide variety of amazing sandwiches, loaded up with meat and veggies 🤤. Also there is selection of garden salads and other deli items. Definitely place order over the phone or online during busy times as this place gets busy fast during certain hours.
