Awesome place to buy provisions in bulk and the variety is fantastic! From spices to lentils to flours to coffee beans to home blend mixes of teas/snacks, one stop for everything.
The pineapple habanero snack mix is super addictive. The teas are amazing and it's a wonderful flavor and nothing like the bagged ones.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. A great zero waste store option where you can BYOB!

We like going here. Great selection. Nits, coffee, tea, sweets. And the folks who run it are really friendly. Makes a difference.

I love to shop their products, especially snacks! They are so yummy and they are really great to give as a gift. The wrapping is so cute!
Also, their candles smell so great!
And all the staffs are very nice and friendly.

Great place to shop for dry goods, unique items for gifts. I love this store...get all of my coffee beans ground perfectly. I go through coffee quickly so no concerns about freshness for me. They serve hot coffee too.

I purchase bulk raw nuts - salt free. Everything is clearly marked, too. Carob chips to chocolate chips.

Then there is bulk tea (loose). Plus all types and manner of "flour".

I highly recommend this store!! So glad it was recommended to me.

We’ve collaborated with BD Provisions for the past few years in having them help us make holiday gifts for our clients. The staff is always on top of it and very communicative and friendly! They always make sure to create gifts for us that fit within our budget and are the most bang for your buck. They are one of our go-tos for client closing gifts and smaller holiday gifts. We love working with them!

So happy to have stumbled upon this store! I’ve been trying to go zero waste and it was really hard to find certain things especially spices and tea. I was amazed by the variety of teas and spices and I got plenty of staples like pasta, rice and snacks as well. Love that they have different oils, syrups, vinegars and even dog treats! I could tell the quality of the items they were selling was really good and I found the prices to be reasonable. You can bring your own containers and they will weigh them and take off the weight at checkout. I do wish they had more vegan baking/soup mixes. Overall I’m very happy with the selection and will continue to shop here!

This place is amazing! Such a fantastic concept of shopping for so many grocery items. You can get as much or as little as you want, in beautiful reusable glass jars or paper bags. Fresh ground coffee, grains, nuts, candied fruit, chocolate, infused oils and vinegars, herbs and spices. The owners could not be nicer and you can sample so many of the items. I am going back soon: got fresh ground coffee for my french press, some candied figs and garlic infused olive oil this time...yummm!

Finally a place that offers low waste biodegradable packaging or the option to bring in your own container. I went here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the selection they have. Really good quality. The best part is, you take only the amount you want so no food goes to waste. I would recommend having more savory dry food mixes (like the Ruby red pilaf).

This store is a must place to shop in bulk for hundreds of food and health related products. The items including candy, dried fruit, nuts, pasta, oils, vinegars, maple syrups, gluten free items and that’s just a few of the hundreds of items. Also, you have to try their coffee—they fresh roast the coffee beans in the store and the house brand, Midnight Joe, is just incredible! It’s actually a fun shopping experience and to top things off, they follow a “zero waste” philosophy when it comes to packaging. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This store was a great find. Everything they sell is in bulk, in barrels or jugs or bins, so that you can buy exactly the amount you need and in an environmentally friendly way. All of the packaging is compostable and you can buy mason jars to fill. And there is coffee roasted right on site. Great place for holiday gifts too! I’ll be back with my mason jars for more nuts, grains!l and chocolate!

The idea of leaving a place a 1 star review during a pandemic because you had to wear plastic gloves is laughable. I walked in not knowing what the store was all about was greeted by 2 lovely, friendly, ladies. I poked around found lots of unique snacks (the dill pickle peanuts are addictive). They had some great ideas for party favors I will certainly be back.

I Love shopping here. The concept to buy what you need idea has been Long awaited. I love the reuse and low waste!!!! Everything is fresh and delicious. Try the honey, if nothing else.

Excellent array of loose provisions from sweet to savory as well as flours, grains, coffee, and tea. Related gift items, bath and body products, and honey and syrup. Great prices. Eco-friendly jar swap, too.

I am OBSESSED with this place!!! I was there on opening day and fell in love. I am there during the week, almost every weekend, I wish I could live there! Such an amazing concept and laid out almost too perfectly! You walk in and are welcomed by friendly staff which doesn’t happen much anywhere else I go! There are almost always samples at the counter by the coffee roaster... and the best part is... if you want to taste something before buying, just ask a staff member and they are more than happy to assist. The array of olive oils and vinegars are beautifully set up (I strongly recommend the ginger balsamic and the basil olive oil, two of my favs!) The blueberry muffin mix is amazing.... AND so easy, you add water and frozen or fresh blueberries, but they are SO good. The brownies, another fav! My new find is the wheat nuts, which are not nuts but have a cashew consistency. I have been back numerous times for these! My four dogs LOVE the dog treats they offer and I only by the finest for my babies. Whether you are looking for teas, spices, nut butter, rices, baking mixes, candies, coffee (which they roast their own blend) or beauty products (I love the activated charcoal and bentonite clay!) they have SO much and something for everyone! Also, I was in there last weekend with a basket full of items and thought “I am going to spend over $50” .....turns out... $18!!!!!! What?!?! The ability to buy a little, or a lot is the beauty of it all. Why spend $15 on a box of granulated monk fruit, to only use 2 tablespoons when I can go to BD And spend $1 and not throw the rest of the box away in a couple months because I never used it again. This is an amazing store, with amazing employees with an amazing concept. If you haven’t been or thinking about going, I highly recommend it .... and, I’ll probably see you there!

PS-I forgot their honey and maple syrup station. Holy crow... the bourbon barrel maple syrup is to die for!

PPS- They listen! If you want to see something in one of the barrels or are interested in an item, they will do their best to find it and get it in !!

This is an outstanding shop for spices, BBQ rubs, olive oils, vinegars, coffees etc. They have a tremendous selection and can put together nice gift packs of needed. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who is a foodie and loves to cook!

A very unique and fun place to buy non-perishable food and other items. They must have over 200 items in bulk, so that you can buy as little or as much as you want at very reasonable prices. The store itself is modern and sleek and the staff couldn't be more knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Wonderful shopping experience, and we love the mason jar exchange program. Huge selection a flours, grains, coffees, snacks, and olive oils; the bourbon maple syrup is straight up ridiculous (👍🏼👍🏼). We drove from half an hour away, and are already planning the next trip.

This is the way we should all be shopping!! I've been to both locations in Newtown and Fairfield, and while they're both great in Newtown because of health code you must use jars already sanitized by the store. So you bring ball mason jars and swap them out for the same size jar, and then you're good to go. In Fairfield, you can bring any containers you have at home, we use lots of snapware. Our favorites are the basil olive oil, garlic olive oil, glazed onion balsamic glaze, maple syrup, and bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. They are unbelievably good.. especially the olive oils. Plus my dogs loved their jerky style dog treats. The workers are also so helpful with explaining how things work, letting people try products, explaining products, and making it a welcoming environment.
