Milkhouse Ice Cream

Milkhouse Ice Cream is great! They have a great selection of hard ice cream, and some soft serve (Vermonters call them creemees) as well! The building is cute, it’s conveniently located right next to a gas station with ample parking, and prices are SUPER reasonable compared to other ice cream places I’ve been to in Vermont. They have an amazing selection of sundaes!! They even have one that has apple cider donut holes and maple creemee on top! That’s the most Vermont-style ice cream sundae ever and it is AWESOME! I would highly recommend this sundae, and it’s also worth trying their flavor-burst creemees as well. This is certainly one of the better food options in St. Johnsbury - I will definitely be returning when I’m back in this area!

Wow, their small portion of hard ice cream is two huge scoops! They have many flavors to choose from including 3 peanut butter flavors. The servers behind the window were hustling to get the orders out every time we have been there.

Ice cream is delicious and also kosher certified! So many flavors, options and fair prices. Outdoor seating and open 7 days a week 12-9pm during season!

I had the absolute best ice cream cone ever! It was toasted coconut and chocolate lovers… my friend had a hot fudge sundae… the girl who waited on us was super friendly and recommended a delicious type of ice cream… they also had pints for $3.75!

The people here are incredibly friendly and great customer service, but the place is also set in a cute little part of town, and the ice cream is delicious!! The soft serve vanilla is what I got and it was absolutely creamy and the perfect consistency. If this place were closer to me (I live bottom of New Hampshire!), I would go every day all summer!

Loved the maple and coffee soft serve. A medium priced at $3 dollar was half the size of my head and was more than enough for two people. There were many more hard serve options as well.

I love this place since I was born in the town I grew up in but I moved away when I was 9 years old and now I live in Canada I'll never forget st. Johnsbury (don't know if I messed up the name) but I hate cornerstone school I don't recommend letting your kids go there they are not even a school it's a nut house

Great hard ice cream from Gifford's and excellent creemees. A small is the size of a medium and definitely don't get a large unless you are sharing!! Good value!!

It to really quick service. You placed your order and each person took a dish and prepared it, then out the other side of the building to you. 6 orders in less than 3 minutes I'd say.

Very good ice cream - Gifford's of Maine is the supplier - and servings are generous. Service of our large group was fast and friendly.

I drive by three other ice cream shops to get here. The service and the ice cream are always excellent. Beware it gets busy often, but that just speaks to the quality.

Thye carry a wide selection of Gifford's ice cream at are generous with their scoops. A small size is usually more than enough for us.
