I found Dr. Thoman to be an excellent dentist, he really cares about his patients and puts in the extra effort to explain procedures. He will give you tips about what you can do to prevent future problems (in my case I was brushing too hard and damaging my gums). He also got my wife in right away when she had a severely painful tooth ache and got it fixed up quickly. I Could not disagree more with reviewer below, I did not experience any hygiene concerns only great care.

Dr. Thoman was fantastic and got me in ASAP on an infected tooth. He had great bedside manor and was a straight shooter, was very fast and did a great job with minimal discomfort! Highly recommend!

I posted a positive review on here a few months ago. I've since retracted, and feel strongly enough to post an extremely negative review based on the pain and other poorly done jobs. I had a lot of cavities. During my last 3 appointments, his drill wasn't working properly (a dental drill squirts out water every few seconds so that the tooth does not become too hot while drilling.)
And the teeth he worked on while is drill was malfunctioning have been in, at times, extreme pain. For a few weeks there, the only way I could sleep was by slatherint numbing gel on all teeth on the left side of my mouth. I can now only drink cold liquids through a straw that has to be placed at the back on my mouth. If those teeth get too cold, I experience extreme pain that only is helped by slathering my teeth in numbing gel. Once, I had 911 dialed. Also, I have had TWO fillings fall out. I'm writing this review after finding out that another filling has fallen out. So now, not only do I have to find another dentist, but I probably have a LOT more work done than originally started with. I am EXTREMELY angry.

Very friendly but unfortunately all 6 of my fillings have now fallen out and when I went back to have them corrected I was told they were just a visual issue and there was no need to redo them! I have wholes everywhere in mouth that were not there before he got happy with the drill. His assistant says it's not uncommon for some fillings to come out over a period of time but every single one he did came out within a 6 month period 👎🏿 He was really nice but I'm glad he retired!

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. I have anxiety & Im scared of the dentist. They acted like they understood & perscribed something for anxiety for when getting dental work done. I called on a Friday because I was in pain due to teeth needing extractions(which they would not do themselves & referred me to an oral surgeon & I was waiting for an upcoming appointment) They called in Tylenol 3 to the pharmacy for over the weekend & scheduled me to come in the following Monday. I was unable to get the perscription because it was not done correctly & the pharmacy could not get ahold of them to clarify. They told me I would need to come in Monday & they could get me something stronger for the pain. When I went in on Monday they wanted to do fillings. They never told me they had intentions of doing any dental work so I had not taken the medication for anxiety & I was not comfortable with getting it done at that time. I never received anything for pain from them. When I called to ask where I was on the cancelation list they informed me they would no longer see me. I had an upcoming appointment at the time & they never even bothered to inform me they had cancelled it. They told me it was because I asked for pain medication but refused dental work. I never even actually received any type of pain medication from them & had full imtentions on getting dental work done with proper notice so I could take what they had given me for anxiety. Discrimination?

Never had a more rude, judgmental dentist!!!!Got up out of the chair. Very unprofessional!!!
