West Forty is the best! An amazing selection of cuts, but if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask…there’s a good chance you can get a custom order. The quality is top notch. Excellent customer service. My favorite products are the steaks and the cottage bacon, but truly, everything we’ve gotten has been great. Love that we can order online and also purchase products from other local companies as well - super convenient!

West Forty Market is our go to meat shop in Ankeny. Our thanksgiving bird this year was so delicious! She always has the freshest products in the store and a has a true passion for supporting local vendors. A beautiful shop under world class ownership.

By far the best meat you will find locally. They certainly know what they are doing. Would highly recommend stopping by one of their stores in Greene or Ankeny, IA. Bonus is they also have online shopping that can be delivered, shipped, and/or pick-up.

The owner Teresa is the absolute sweetest person and she genuinely cares about the products she carries in her store, where it comes from, and supporting other local Iowa businesses. A hidden gem in Uptown Ankeny! They provide all types of meat, including buffalo from local farmers! Their meat is incredible! Staff is friendly and helpful and even went out of her way to explain how I could create my own meat packages for Christmas presents! (It’s July, but I wanted to know!)
I’m very impressed and will be shopping here for our meat from now on!

This place is Amazing! I never knew it existed, and stumble upon it. The quality and variety of meat cuts is top notch. Best flank steak we’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable as well and owners very personable.

I enjoyed coming in here and chatting with the cashier and owner, they are really friendly. This place has some good quality and unique cuts, for a decent price. I got 12 eggs for $2, and meat for $8. I am excited to see this place grow.

I just signed up for their newsletter…we got a fresh turkey last year for Thanksgiving…we loved it & don’t want to miss out on pre-ordering one again this year! The beef is ALWAYS great…we grill the beef patties year round…😋

I haven't purchased meat quite yet, but I love their selection of locally baked breads that are restocked every Friday.

Wow, this place is amazing, great selection of very good beef and pork. Service and the owners are very friendly and helpful, if your in Ankeny or close you should definitely give this place a try.

Great butcher, I have been searching for a place like this since moving to Ankeny and it never came up on google! Glad I happened to walk by it, they seem like really kind people too, would recommend to everyone!

We had West Forty make up some meat bundle boxes for our team members and we couldn't be happier with the product and the care to detail that was taken to make sure every box was exactly the same. They even delivered.
