Beginning with the young man (security). He was very pleasant. The food is great wish I could have got more corn fritters,,,

Really fun place to listen to music and have some good food. The hours are not crazy late so the overall vibe is calm and collected with plenty of space for lots of people. Plenty of parking too. The only thing to note is that it’s outside eating so Yay for people who smoke while they eat, but, since I do not, I really have to mention this.. you’ll be eating food and someone will be smoking near you. I haven’t tasted cigarettes while I eat dinner since, what, 1996?? Been a while, that’s all I know! And so it was a surprise (so minus one star on that for me) Positive note- you can move seats and find any of the other acres of tables to sit at! Or just pretend you’re a kid again and Uncle Bob is over and he brought a bucket of fried chicken! Uncle Bob smoked while we ate, in case you didn’t pick up on that. They allllllll did back in the day. So I mean, the place takes you back to when you’re a kid! Which reminds me- there’s a bouncy house and kids were flying all over that place! Wowza! You know..It’s a family reunion type atmosphere!

That was a great dinner outing! It is quite a drive from my house, but the road is beautiful! The fried catfish, fried corn fritters and fries were going and the beer was cold. This is definitely a family friendly place and they had a bouncy castle for the kids...

Great location by the river. The fried Chicken was really good. There was a band playing when we were there really cool atmosphere. Family atmosphere.

Whenever I’m craving catfish and I’m in Omaha, this is where I go. I love the location of this place, it’s almost an unbeatable experience sitting outside and watching boats go by in the summer. The catfish dinner is my go to here with a basket of their amazing corn fritters. The catfish has great breading and flavor and comes with fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and lemons. The corn fritters are phenomenal, try them with honey.

Great location in the bottoms of Ponca Hills. Just a short drive north of N.P. Dodge Park. The chicken I'd always juicy and the fare always freshly made. Facilities are all newly renovated and there is a marina on site.

Loved it great place for the family, when i was there they had a few bands playing and a bounce house going for the kids, great atmosphere and good food and drinks! Love the watermelon drink they serve at the bar. Its alittle pricy but well worth the money for the food portions.

It was my first time. This is a great place to meet with friends and bring family, including kids. Everything is in the open by the river. I enjoyed my fried chicken with fries and cole slaw and a margarita. They had live music on Sunday which added to the already great atmosphere.

All of the bartenders and security were super nice, friendly and nice to deal with. Drinks were a great deal also!
The band, Rock Creek Coalition, was so much fun and I met so many great people out dancing! I'll definitely be back!

I give 5 stars for the restaurant and location. This place have a good view and live band. I prefer to come here in the evening that way you can seat outside and enjoy the river atmosphere.

Best corn fritters, chicken and catfish dinners we have ever had. We go out of our way every time we come to Omaha.
They are closed in the winter. Check their website if coming late in the year. Great live music today.

Food was great as always. Our waitress was extra nice. The band was good. Crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I still love this place! Was consistently good the last time I was there years ago. Haven't been in a few year or so though... They've renovated & it's a lot nicer and newer than it used to be. Food is the same as it ever was. Got a pitcher of New Castle, an Arnold Palmer for $13. Dinner will run you another $9-13. Good size portions and great atmosphere. One of my favorite places to go : )

Lived in ponca hills for 17 years and the Surfside club was always a great place to eat and enjoy the amosphere

Six of us, three couples, came over from Des Moines to try Surfside and we loved it, very cool, fun, well managed place. I only gave 4 stars for the food only because it might of been nice to see a few more options on the menu, a couple of us had the catfish, and it was delish. The greeter at the gate is a nice touch, and all the staff were amazing, very friendly, very helpful, I was impressed with them all.
We’ll be back next summer for sure !

If you’re looking for a great restaurant with a river view, this is the place to visit! Great food and great people make this a place a pleasant experience for families and friends to gather for dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a meal and a show (river boats)!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to take in the scenery by the river and unwind with friends and a drink. The food is amazing with good sized portions. The staff is friendly and there is a great atmosphere.
