The Crystal Cottage of Vermont

I have been to a lot of crystal shops, but this one takes the cake! The two owners were amazingly insightful and patient as my sister and I found exactly what we were looking for. I have been looking for snakeskin cornelian at every shop I’ve been to, and the owners were able to direct me to what I was actually looking for - snakeskin agate. They had so much knowledge about crystals and what they had in stock, it was truly amazing to chat with them. Absolutely beautiful store with big windows and amazing lighting. I would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

You guys rock. I can't believe I posted such a lame pun. Your store is beautiful. Your specimens (what's left after my dear bride ransacks your inventory) are breath taking. In addition Craig and Diane are two of the nicest people on the planet. I have never been charged a dime for the many occasions they've babysat my wife for three hours at a time.
Your store is a rare gem and it is always with great anticipation that we make the 2+ hour drive to visit.

I just want to say how grateful I am for having the opportunity to meet Diane and Craig. They provided me with excellent customer service. I walked into the store not knowing exactly what I needed. They listened intently as I explained what was going on for me, which I did not expect. Not only to they run a great shop, but they are great humans.

This is one of my favorite places to shop, and has the most amazing selection of crystals. Diane has always been very friendly, knowledgeable, and has gone out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for. She always remembers my name when I come in, and has even offered to special order something very specific I was looking for. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that is local to Vermont or visiting the Burlington area.

I have been a customer of Craig and Diane’s store for several years now, going back to when they were in their original space downtown. They have relocated by the waterfront to an amazing space with large windows, lots of light, and views of the water—that just makes the crystals and the store feel even more magical to me. I have visited many metaphysical shops and crystal shops over the years in different states, and I can unequivocally say that this is the best crystal shop I have ever visited. They have the largest selection of very unique pieces. I got most of my crystal singing bowl collection from them—both purchased by me and received as gifts. They even went out of their way to carry products—healing and clearing sprays, candles, etc.—from shamanic practitioners that I knew back when I lived in NJ. It is so convenient to just drive down the street and buy a bottle when I need it to support a local business instead of either having to buy multiple bottles to save on shipping or pay a high price for one bottle by ordering directly from the practitioners.

Regarding the negative reviews about cameras and signs about being prosecuted, those same signs are in the crystal store at the University Mall and other stores I have visited in the past. That should not be news to anyone visiting a crystal store where there are many small objects that are of high monetary value. If this is an issue for you, don’t go, and the loyal customers will snap up all the amazing specimens.

I do have a suggestion to Craig and Diane.: Classes! Crystal classes, reiki sessions, oracle reading/discussions, like-minded people meeting to talk about crystals (almost like a support group), crystal singing bowl mediations, etc. I have so many ideas. I have some certifications if you decide to go this route and could work with you on some of these things.

Wonderful shop. Lots of variety and options AND the owners are delightful. The store has great energy. Highly recommend that you treat yourself to a visit.

Shes happy to help you explore the cases and answer questions regarding the many varieties of crystals. I always looks forward to our next visit.

I have found THE most wonderful store in Burlington - the Crystal Cottage of Vermont! After a quiet greeting by the most gentle dog ever, I stood in awe at a collection of crystals and geodes, etc. unlike any I have ever seen, beautifully lit and displayed (jewelry too!) and I have been to several stores for crystals. The owners are both so kind, and they were very helpful not only by opening cases to let me get a better look at and hold various specimens, they never made me feel like I was taking too long to make a decision on what to get. The energy in the Crystal Cottage of Vermont is incredibly peaceful and healing, and I can see myself heading back time and again not only to shop for something beautiful, but to get grounded in order to counter so much of the negativity that crosses my path on a daily basis. It’s a “gem” of a store worth checking out if you’re into good energy and beauty from the Earth. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been big fan of the Crystal Cottage of Vermont. Living in Michigan it is hard to find the perfect crystal(s), however, since I’ve been able to look into their store through Facebook Live events, I’m finally aware of the magnitude of their inventory as well as their impressive quality.

I can buy shiny rocks anywhere, but to find exceptional, gem-like specimens each with unique character I only go to the Crystal Cottage of Vermont. They have the best inventory selection I have ever encountered, and they always help find the perfect match.

The pricing is excellent for the grade of the stones, shipping is done with intention and care. Each item is wrapped to perfection with a special drawing/note on the wrapping. (see photos)

I should also add that I have practiced energy work for 25+ years using crystals as a tool. Craig and Diane have offered a unique perspective as to what makes these specimens beautiful to them, but they also have an innate talent to select the perfect crystal that resonates with your vibration. I couldn’t recommend them more. Should you have the opportunity to visit them, or catch a Facebook Live event, or call them and ask for help, you will surely find the perfect specimen that is destined for you.

I have bought dozens of pieces from them, both at the store and when they were doing the live shows. Their crystals are beautiful and the owners of the store are simply wonderful.

My friend and I went there this past weekend. We both agreed that there was great energy in the store.. (reminds me of many crystal ships I visited in Sedona). Hard to find a shop close to this nice in New England with high quality stones and a nice attention to energy flow within the store itself. The owners were very helpful, and sincere in wanting to pair you up with the right crystal for you; and they truly want to give you a full range of high quality crystals with prices that are very fair. I wish they had a closer store to the NH coast!

The store is open and well organized with options for everyone. The woman who helped me was soft-spoken and polite and made me feel comfortable in the store taking my time. There is a wide range of stones and crystals and options I haven’t seen in other places. The snakeskin jasper was particularly beautiful! I also purchased a jade worry stone and it is beautiful and soothing.

They have great stones for any budget, with many under a dollar, but plenty of larger and nicer stones/crystals. Great for looking around seeing what catches your eye! And don’t neglect the front cabinets which have jewelry and other specific stones tucked away.

I stopped into the crystal cottage to get a rose quartz sphere. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the store was set up and easy to navigate through to look at the large selection of crystals and gems they have. I even found a flute that I could not resist! I found the customer service to be on point and the employees to be knowledgeable of what they were selling. I will be back.

The Crystal Cottage of Vermont is more than just a store. It is a space for people who want to learn about and connect with energy. Diane and Craig work very hard to ensure that their space is treated with respect and integrity from customers. If you are willing to be empathetic towards their simple requests as a small business you will have a fantastic experience at the Crystal Cottage just as I did! I love how peaceful and quiet the environment is. It helps me connect with the right crystals and choose the best pieces from their extensive collection. I appreciate that they call out disruptive behavior as it certainly would impact my experience there as a customer that enjoys connecting with their space. One of the most amazing crystal shops I have had the pleasure of going too. I have been going to this shop for many years and have always had an amazing experience. The amount of crystals and variety is astounding. The shop is affordable and the owners are two of the kindest people in the world. Even if you can’t spend anything, just walking through and experiencing the cottage is healing enough. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been shopping at the cottage for a little over a year and always enjoy my visits. Craig is very intuitive and I’m grateful when he shares his thoughts and crystals he thinks I might be interested in. There’s never any pressure to buy which I appreciate because I’ve been to other stores where you do feel pressure. But you can tell Craig just enjoys what he does and wants to share. I still remember my first visit to the cottage, I was a little nervous because it was a whole new experience for me, and talking to Diane I felt so calm and at ease and welcomed in the cottage. Always welcome and the best customer experience at the cottage!

One can tell that Craig and Diane really care about the quality of their products and about the people who come through their doors.
