Karis Church

Several years ago, we transitioned to Karis Church for deeper ministry development. What we experienced was a church founded in Christ and rooted in the Bible— where discipleship is continually grown through Gospel, Community, and Mission. Karis continually strives to be a relational church— loving God, loving one another, and loving the city and context we are called to. We have continually felt like family at Karis.

I honestly could not imagine my life without the support and gospel care from this church. When my husband and I needed love and family in the midst of suffering, Karis Church stepped up and walked with us. We are forever grateful for the leadership, training up of leaders and for this church always showcasing the gospel!

Visited December 1, 2019 -- Very on-target group of serious Christ followers. We visited with my son and daughter-in-law and their two young sons. We expected a group of serious Christ following Christians... We were not disappointed! According to a survey (I believe it was done by George Barna) 85% of Americans claim to be "Christian" but only 15% can accurately explain what that means according to God's Word found in the Bible... and the sad part... fewer than 1% actually follow Jesus on a daily basis -- KARIS is a Christ following church in that 1%. A really good church if you are serious about following Christ.

The members were so friendly. Pastor Kevin preached about Returning to the Vine. Good word. Singing was good also. I will definitely be back.

Karis has been such an encouraging church community for me and my wife. They are focused on the gospel and serving the city, so we are excited to serve here!

People were friendly and pastor was approachable. Most of all, he preaches from the scripture.
