Plato's Closet

As far as thrift stores this is the best! It's huge and there was a big selection. I wasn't shopping for myself but I'm looking forward to going back soon. I found my cousin some name brand jackets in perfect condition for a fraction of the original price.

Best thrift shop in the area, (even though they have a ton of stuff you can't buy, no exceptions) Had tons of great thrifted items at a great/reasonable price.

This place is amazing! The customer service is awesome, Crystal went out of her way to give me points for a purchase I was not credited. No matter how busy they are they always treat you right and help you however possible. Even with long lines they move quickly and are always upbeat and positive. Their selection is endless and the store is clean and organized. A+++!

The actually have a decent selection, its clean. The employees are always working, cleaning, organizing. It shows in the cleanliness of the store.

Reading some of these comments!! I’ve been shopping here since the early 2000s, literally. I’ve not once had a bad experience. I’ve sold clothes here many many times and always had a good experience. If they don’t take your clothes it’s because they have too many of one product or it’s off season.. they’ve always been so friendly! I always spends hundreds of dollars every time I go and end up with a car full of clothes, love platos!!!

I've been shopping at Plato's for years, and never once had a negative experience! They have tons of the latest fashions, for a fraction of the regular price. They also buy items you no longer want!

I do not get to Plato's very often anymore, but have always liked it. Have recently shopped there, and had a great time. In general, much of the clothing is geared toward much younger people, but I always manage to find something fun. Sometimes clothing items, but more often jewelry, shoes and/or accessories. This last trip, I found the perfect brown leather and suede Steampunk boots. Beautiful boots, beautiful condition, beautiful price. I also found a lovely bracelet with a geode slice for a center piece. I wear more simple clothing, so I do wear flamboyant accessories. And Plato's usually has them. Occasionally, they have "down" times, usually after holidays or the start of school. Also, they now have a new connection,"Style Encore" with quality clothing for mature style mavens. I didn't have much time to explore. There's always a next time!

Such a wide variety of used cloths here. I stop there every time I am in Burlington. My wife goes to the Christmas tree shop and I go here. I always buy something. And they give a 15% military discount. They also take in cloths in a regular basis. If you like thrift stores like I do,. You will love this place.

Looks like a great place to shop! Lots of second hand clothing, shoes, purses and more for sale @ reasonable prices. I didn't happen to buy anything this visit, but am definitely coming back!

Really well run second hand clothing store. Everything is very well organized and easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always somebody available for assistance. The store is always clean and neat.

Style Encore was filled with treasures. Many Dansko shoes and Frye boots. Staff was cheerful and helpful.

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable of their process of buying items. Prompt and polite. Was refreshing that each employee seemed genuinely happy to be there! Very satisfied with the exchange.

Platos has been around for years .. I think they’re fair when buying , ive never felt like I was cheated .. they take pride in the clothes they take, and price them accordingly .. also very organized for being a busy store .. good customer service ..
