Great masjid, with clean places to do wadu and a separate second floor for sisters to pray in with screens to see the khotba and Friday prayer.

It's open almost all day, so it's super convenient for you to catch up on your prayers if you are in the area.

The girls halaqah is very educational here. Everyone is really nice and you can really learn a lot from it. The events and celebrations are very fun and are a healthy and safe place for the girls to befriend others.

Best place ever to raise your kids and teach them about Islam, culture and society.

I am originally from Bay Ridge but moved to Connecticut a little over 30 years ago, but my heart never left Bay Ridge after all these years.
With an interest in converting to Islam, and moving back to Bay Ridge once I retire, I have been following all the live services which are shown on the website, and although I do not understand the language, it deeply resonates with me and I find the services very beautiful.
The neighborhood is absolutely wonderful, looking at all the stores, etc... I know this will be the right community for me and look forwards to start visiting and spending time in this area soon, along with supporting the new community center which I hope to learn more about as time goes on.

Greatest place for viseters

Very nice

I go there to offer my prayers. It's nice and peaceful during prayer times. People are busy with their prayers but do greet politely when they see you. After shopping I go there as it's at walkable distance and I don't miss my prayers.

This mosques is really great. It is the only real dedicated mosque (building wise) in the area and what I mean by that is that there are other locations but they are basically spaces in regular buildings, not mosques. I don't know whether or not they hold Khutbas in English but from my experience, all Khutbas are in Arabic.

Work in bay ridge and I’m very happy and blessed about the fact that the masjid is near all of them. The people inside the masjid are very nice and generous. The masjid itself is very clean and always smells nice. The classes they have are also very good and I just absolutely love them and feel blessed that I’m able to find a place that give such amazing Islamic classes. They also have classes that teach Arabic. They have one for the elderly and children and of course teenagers.

My mother died at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL. The family decided to have her body shipped to be buried in Egypt. I've contacted many funeral homes in Jacksonville for help. I was told it would take few weeks to a month to get my mother's body to Egypt. It was heartbreaking. A friend of my sister gave us the contact information for the Islamic International Funeral Home. They helped shortening the time from weeks to just few days, and charged a reasonable fee to have the remains of my mother taken care of. God bless them. Please contact them first before talking to local funeral home if you want your loved ones sent home to be buried. They take care of everything needed.

Beautiful place. Fajr prayer is like Friday prayer in terms of crowds. It would be great if they can post the prayers Iqama time on their website.
