Tex-Mex Burriro

Delicious and authentic! So happy we found this restaurant! The enchiladas de mole were so good, the perfect amount of spice and the depth of flavor was amazing. The woman working there was very sweet and very attentive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some spicy authentic Mexican cuisine!

Visited here at the end of my trip and it did not disappoint! We were graciously given a plate of chips with beans and different salsas to graze on while waiting for our order. We had a group of 5 and despite the wide variety of food ordered, we were served quickly and all had cleared plates by the end of our visit! Great tasting food and lovely people running the show 😊

Parking was easy on this trip. They have parking on the side of the restaurant, and out front.

This is a small place, about 9 tables total. The decor was vibrant and clean. You could tell this restaurant was fairly new (4 months). No Bar. The service was top notch, fast, and accommodating. Anything I needed I got in a timely manner.

I ordered a water, clean, and refreshing. They didn't have a bar, and I didn't ask about alcohol. I saw they had some different agua frescas available.

Chips & Salsa!!!!
Chips...house made, thick, strong, fried perfectly, with refried beans and melted cheese on top. Are you kidding me? These were fantastic and only the second place I've gone to that does it this way.
Salsa...green sauce had a nice cilantro/citrus flavor to it, with a nice spicy punch.
Orange sauce was that fire stuff that kills my taste buds. It wasn't a chipotle sauce either. This is for people like my sis.

I ordered Tortas Milanesa de pollo: (Breaded chicken)
Home-made bread bun. Stuffed with beans, mayonnaise, cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickled jalapeno, and chipotle sauce. $9.
The chicken was seasoned flawlessly, thin, and had a nice crisp to it. I managed to get all of the ingredients on each bite until the last couple. The bread was fresh, and had a nice crisp on the inside. This is a top tier torta in my book and fulfilled all of my expectations.

I ordered tacos choosing chorizo, carnitas, pastor, and asada.
Chorizo...perfect char on the meat, the flavor of the meat was amazing to me. The home made tortillas were delicious, and were pure heaven each bite.
Carnitas...nice crisp to the meat, excellent flavor! I'd say this is right up there with the best! Only Chabelita did it better in my opinion.
Pastor...outstanding flavor again, pineapple in there for good measure. Made me wanna start dancing.
Asada...How do you think it went? Moist, delicious, melt in your mouth meat.

I always try each taco without sauce to start. These were on point and when you added that green sauce, next level.

Went there for lunch and it was our first time visiting. Service was great, food was a little slow but worth the wait. The free chips they give you are a little thicker than most places and topped with refries beans and a white cheese sauce. My wife and I both ordered the Burrito Del Mar and they were large and stuffed with fish, shrimp, scallops, onions and peppers and smothered in a white cheese sauce. The burrito also can with a second full plate of rice, refried beans and salad. I could barely finish mine and my wife took half of hers home for dinner later. Great first experience and look forward to going back to try their tacos.

One of my favorite places for Tex-Mex food. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is amazing with great portions. Take out or dine in is great.

Food was not good. No flavor and wasn't authentic. However, the service was great and workers were friendly and inviting. Atmosphere was nice and place was clean nd nicely decorated.

Don't let the the name fool you!! This little hole-in-the wall is definitely one to not miss! Don't drive by too fast or you might pass right by it and miss it. The service is above and beyond, the food is excellent and amazing presentation, wide variety on the menu to choose from. I got the ceviche tostadas, and they were absolutely fantastic! You can not go wrong here! Seriously give this spot a try and I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Amazing Amazing absolutely AMAZING!!! Great food! Quick service and staff is so friendly. Andddd to top it off my drink was AMAZING! Perfect place to get drunk and have fun! Also, Friday and Saturday night they have a live Dj. This place is great and seriously I recommend to everyone to try 😌

Best Mexican food in Delaware! Very clean establishment. Very friendly staff. Everything is good! We dine in and take out regularly. We've tried so many other places in the area and nothing comes close! El Pique is horrible compared to here. If you haven't been, you must try it!

This has been the #1 place in my doordash for over a year and this was my first time calling in and going to pick it up. The food is amazing and my order is never wrong or missing. I always crave their Cheese Dip and Guacamole Dip, but the real winners have got to be the Enchiladas Verdes and Beef Chimichangas Fried! I know every time I order from Tex Mex that I'm going to fill up on delicious and affordable food! 😋

Just happened to stop in one day. I ordered the four amigos tacos and my wife ordered a burrito. Tacos were amazing. The burrito.....hope you are hungry when you order one!!!! You get a good amount of food for the money. Definitely recommend this place for sure.

A sweet little place in Newport next to the paletería ice cream shop. Tacos of chicken and steak with onions and cilantro, along with their homemade green sauce were delicious and fresh. The complimentary basket of chips with refried beans and cheese was an additional surprise. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!

I don't speak Spanish. The staff is so patient with me. So friendly. The food is amazing. The fresh juice is amazing. All the food is authentic. So yummy

Born in downtown San Antonio, and raised in Tx! Whole heartedly vouch for their food, the best I found in the tristate area! Yum, so glad I found them! Now if they would just deliver a top shelf margarita 🤷🏼‍♀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went their again on 11/5/22. This time the food wasn't good. Food was terrible fries were cold. It's so many mexican restaurants and I won't be going here again. I called to tell them about the order but they didn't understand english that well. They got 5 stars the first time
