Town Hall Theater

We hosted a late-night party at the Theater after our wedding, and it was the PERFECT venue! After struggling to find a location that would accommodate us in Middlebury, the Town Hall Theater was a saving grace. Not only was the venue itself just what we needed (fun lighting, great sound system, stage, ample space, bar, warming oven), Erin and Lisa were a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure our event went smoothly, including taking photos and adding additional lighting to make it look better.

Definitely work with the Theater if given the opportunity!

J-Term put on a very moving performance of Fun Home. The live music made it even better. Definitely recommend seeing a show here.

I was blown away by the opera production I recently saw here. Before going I was skeptical that it could be done in such a space, but the bleacher type structure with installed comfortable chairs was perfect, even for a 3hr performance! Visibility was excellent. Not a bad seat in the house. Small and intimate, and superb.

Nice theatre, nice staff, cheap snacks

State of the Arts community theatre in beautifully-restored old building. Seats comfortable, view of stage fine from all seats. Doug Anderson directs plays and operas with great ingenuity and pizazz, the singers and actors are superb. Some professional, some community actors and singers. Enormous variety offered throughout the year: Live at The Met, Anderson-directed Grand Opera, drama, West End Live productions, concerts, -- and on and on. The town of Middlebury is enormously blessed by all the offerings of The Town Hall Theatre, and by Doug Anderson's verve, taste, and talent.

A great local Theatre!

This exquisite community theater is as good, exciting, and creative as any theater in major cities across the planet.

We've never seen a bad performance they are in all the years!

All good seats, no blind spots, &good acoustics.

This is a great source of culture, entertainment, and fun in Middlebury. A great variety of entertainment - and I mean VARIETY!
