This family is AWESOME and their bagels are even better! I saw someone posted they are rude. They ARE NOT rude, they’re from NY and they are a busy place (and rightfully so). Bagels are huge and a bargain!

Excellent bagels. I order in advance and state that I want my bagels sliced. Size of bagels are huge AND delicious. I always go there - best bagels around, especially the pumpernickel. Being from Chicago where bagels are plentiful, these are a cut above the rest. Great price also

Greatest bagel in the Philly area. If you want a bagel of any type go here. They’ve got a plethora of different cream cheeses and multiple options for sandwiches. If you enjoy good mom and pop businesses this is the best of them all. The staff is family and they are all amazing people. They have regulars for a reason. I’ve taken everyone whoever visits to get the bagel I grew up loving.

I have no idea how anyone could have any negative experience with this place. It is literally a "Mom and Pop", full family establishment with a NY attitude! Might be the best bagels I have ever had! I can never eat another Manhattan bagel again! Please support great businesses like this so I can continue to eat there!

Amazing! I just moved to the area and stopped in to get a bagel. I never knew till that day that a bagel could get better then what I have been eating...oh it can! That was the best bagel I have ever had! Then I stepped it up a notch and got the bacon egg and cheese on a toasted bagel....it was the best thing ever!!!! Everything is fresh and made perfectly!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! You have a customer for life! And I’ve been telling everyone. A+++

Best bagel shop in the area. Lots of room for people to sit and eat inside along with a great selection of bagels. Ordering over the phone is available along with cash or credit/debit payments. I do not come in here as often as I would like but the staff usually remembers my order which is always surprising to me with how many people come through here day after day. The drink selection is adequate and the prices are fair. I always get a bagel with eggs, bacon and cheese but I have to also get bagels to take home with homemade whipped cream and whitefish. Really really good stuff if you haven't had it you need to try it.

Best bagels ever!! I have allergies so I can't eat baked goods from the grocery store or Philadelphia Cream Cheese. The bagels and cream cheese at A&S Bagels are homemade & fresh everyday. They don't bother my allergies one bit!! The staff (family owned) is friendly & the establishment is always clean. They have a good variety of bagels and other breakfast and lunch foods. We frequent here often.

Great breakfast however they are not wearing mask and no gloves.

Lady at the counter was making someone’s sandwich stopped without washing hands to check me out then continued to make the sandwich once done. She did not wash her hands at all.

Am a diehard for their bagels. Started bringing my grandson when he was about 18 months old because he loved their strawberry cream cheese. He's now almost 14yrs old. We've now moved to Florida but still make sure we visit on every trip back here. We also converted my brother inlaw. He has also moved away to NC but visits when in town and/or asks us to buy him some when we're on the way back to Florida. Fantastic owners who always go the extra mile.

Best bagels I've ever had . Been going since a child and have not found a rival. I drive past Manhattan bagels, bagelocity, and about 15 dunking donuts to get there and it's worth every mile.

The workers are friendly and always look to please customers. The bagels are made in site and always fresh. They are usually warm and never need toasting. The cream cheese is light and tasty.
