Courtyard by Marriott Middlebury

It's a nice hotel. The rooms are large enough for 2-4 people. The beds are comfortable. The TV is tiny and useless. The bathrooms are big, but the water doesn't get hot enough.

The employees are very nice. Very nice of them to create a space for bus parking. Most places dont do this.

While the rooms are due for an update, our room was great. We went for a 3 night stay. Our roo. was very clean and so cozy and home like. We had a living/ sitting room. 2 TVs. We stayed during the recent storm and you and the hotel was completely booked,The staff was very friendly, always greeted us with a smile and a "Hello". Any request we had was taken care of quickly
We are looking forward to our next stay. There is a cute little Starbucks Bistro in the lobby for meals.There is a Hannaford,TJ maxx,Walgreens,Mc Donald's. Mobil, all with in walking distance

Nothing's cheap anymore, but this CMM was very nice, comfortable & clean. The pool was shutdown, so call ahead about th@. I especially appreciate adjustable volume for the showers, many places now are only "full on" & wasteful. Speaking of efficiency, their temperature system has a diverter so's not to just blow the air up under the curtains & onto the windows - another plus. My BIG complaint is th@ they didn't have a printed channel guide to help me find NESN w/o having to explore thru the TV.

I travel extensively for business, domestically and internationally. And without question, what makes a hotel exceptional as far as clean rooms, excellent food service, and accommodating staff -- is the property's General Manager.

The Courtyard by Marriott in Middlebury, Vermont, has an ace running the hotel. Her name is Karrie Lamere.

Today when I returned from a long day, my room somehow had not been serviced. When I called the front desk, I explained that my room had not been cleaned and could I please get it serviced. The response was amazing. The person said, "I'll be happy to take care of it now and bring you fresh towels and coffee." I was delighted with the person's tone, willingness to please, and sense of timing -- to take care of the misstep without delay.

I was surprised to discover that the person who immediately volunteered to roll up her sleeves and pitch in was Karrie, the hotel's GM. I was so impressed. No wonder the staff here has a positive attitude, and all are very customer focused. Karrie is an asset to the Marriott brand.

I highly recommend this hotel. My stay exceeded expectations.

My wife and I recently stayed here for a week after a disaster another place. The lady who works nights, Peggy I believe, was on of the highlights of our trip. She was so kind and helpful and cheerful every single time we saw her. They did a great job of cleaning rooms and everywhere around the hotel, the only little dig I have about it was there was a sign on pool saying reservations only, so we asked and then they just said it was closed and changed the sign. Great place to stay in beautiful Vermont

Great stop over for our Middlebury visit in a convenient location. Quiet neighborhood next door made for a nice walk after dinner. The lobby, hallways & room were very clean & quiet. Check in by John was very prompt, friendly & professional. He went out of his way to attempt to resolve a tv issue & when it couldn't be fixed at that time he offered another room. We'd definitely stay here again. Ate at Rosie's restaurant right down the street for dinner . The homestyle generously portioned food & friendly staff were so great we returned for breakfast the next morning and were not disappointed!!!

Second time I stayed here. Had a problem with A/C, asked the house keeping person for help. When she couldn't do anything she called a maintenance man, who arrived in minutes. When he couldn't fix it, he went to check in and got us another room. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. Great service.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is what you would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott so yes the rooms are nice, and comfortable, etc. However there are 2 extremely important points that to me are what makes this place special. 1) Even with a skeleton staff (there's a huge shortage of labor in this area as apperenly no one wants to work for a living anymore) this tight knit family like team of incredibly dedicated staff get it done and get it done with authority! In about one minutes time you'll see the guy behind the bar in the lounge throw a pizza in the oven, turn around and serve a cold beer as he almost runs across the room over to reception to assist checking in a traveler to their room for the night. All the same time chattering positively to literally everyone. The lady who works with him is a sweetheart, I had such nice conversation with her. Opportunity: under staffed, topped with an increased workload due to pandemic bullcrap. Results: never miss a beat. Best service anywhere! Impeccable property maintenance! Positive attitudes and mindset!

Rooma are neat and clean. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff is very nice and kind. Great value for the price we stayed.

It's a well organized Hotel with excellent staff clean rooms and a Starbucks in the lobby. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that you're comfortable and safe.
I appreciate their service.
I am however a smoker and I believe that the Marriott should provide a warm out of the weather place for smokers.

Erin at the front desk was super helpful and friendly! Definitely made the journey to get snacks all the more enjoyable!

This was such a nice place to stay! The customer service here was top notch, the restaurant was good and so nice to have good coffee right there! The kids really enjoyed the pool area which also includes a nice spa. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and it is conveniently located next to a nice drug store. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful staff, all around. Rooms were spotless, everyone on the main floor made sure we understood the local laws about drinks from the bar not leaving the building, and only externally provided drinks allowed at the outdoor seating. We really appreciated a recommendation as well as tasting coupons for the nearby Lincoln Peak Winery. The bistro restaurant on site has a small menu, but everything is tweaked just enough to seem special.

Very clean rooms!!! Guest services are friendly, accommodating and professional. Overall experience is welcoming.

Very nice hotel, very clean and modern with a nice hot tub. The bar is convenient, although they don't know how to make drinks. You are better off with wine or beer. The location is convenient and easy to find, although the shared driveway with Rite Aid is awkward. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Personally, I think it is an excellent place to go to rest after a long trip and it also has a small bar located in the lobby

Clean, welcoming hotel with customer focused staff. I look forward to vacationing here when there is time to explore and enjoy the area.

Very comfortable and nice room, great indoor pool and hot tub, and although we did not eat at the restaurant, it looked good. Great hotel overall.
