I recently needed to go to Taylor Hospital since Penn was too full and being diverted. My original surgery was done at Penn, so the goal was to get transferred to Penn once a room opened up. Long story short, the room didn't become available so I was eventually discharged. But during my stay, I received great treatment from everyone involved. I had really good nurses who were super attentive to my needs & never made me feel like I was being difficult if I rang the call bell. Compared to other hospitals in the area, I had the better overall experience at Taylor hospital.

Despite Taylor Hospital costing us 17% in taxes this year, I have had a very a very good experience this time taking a friend to the ER who was having issues breathing and choking. The nurse, staff, security, and doctors were extremely helpful and quick. We spent only 1hr and 30 mins at Taylor. I am very pleased with this experience today,
Thank you Taylor hospital!

Other then being sick, the service was beyond outstanding. The nurses were always helpful and informative when it came to keeping me updated on my status. The doctors were also very professional and thorough and I started feeling better from just being under there care. If urgent care is needed then they are definitely the place to go.

I had an amazing nurse, Amanda, whose beside manner was so crucial in my decision to stay over another night! She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what my test results meant. She also gave me a clear picture of what to expect in my recovery processes. The hospital is grossly understaffed, and the nurses' bedside manner (or lack thereof) really can be the difference between a pleasurable or horrific experience.

Great caregivers! They mostly showed how much they cared! Dr's. MacDougal and Patel, nurses Chelsea, Hofeeza, and Katrina all showed their compassion and empathy that are the hallmark for nurses.

Another bout with kidney stones. With Springfield ER being closed, I went to Taylor. The hospital itself felt understaffed, but the team they did have was phenomenal. Dr. Papa, Amanda, Diane (I’m sure I’m missing a few names) we’re all really great.

Iv heard a few negative things about Taylor’s ER, but given how close it was to us at the time, it felt smartest to go there. I do not regret my decision at all. I wish I could remember names but everyone was great, from the amazing woman who got us checked in, to our very kind nurse, and finally both our doctors who were very caring. My toddler son unfortunately bumped his head pretty bad, he had no obvious signs of concern other than the huge bump on his head but I wanted to be safe so I went and I really appreciated how serious everyone took my concerns, it was close to my sons bed time so they were great at getting us in quickly before he started falling asleep, they did a cat scan, which I thought was great, I think some wouldn’t have because like I said he had no other obvious signs that caused concern but it gave me huge piece of mind to know it came back all good and I just really appreciated them making sure they covered all bases to ensure he was okay instead of just sending us home to keep an eye for additional symptoms. They were also busy on top of their computers being down, but they still managed to get us in and out in about two hours. Overall we had a good experience.

Gabi Pietroniec was the best nurse I've ever had.I came in worried about my issue and she came in caring ,patient and understanding prepping me before my dr. Not only did she do her job she went above and beyond with my unecessary needs like a charger. Meds were distributed without pain even cracking jokes when you don't wanna laugh. Made the experience great

This is an amazing story about a little hospital that can. These men & women on the front lines of ER, infectious disease & Covid ravaged stories need to be celebrated. They have risen to a call of duty’s beyond professionalism. I’m am so very grateful to have been in their care & to be alive, literally. While my friend, Steve Mullan, proprietor of Leo’s Steak House, was attended to by a stab wound; I was being attended to by an elite staff of Pulmonary Care & Infectious Disease Doctors & Nurses. Dr. Rich Leyman, Dr. Fumberg, Dr. Choi, Dr. Batt, Dr. DuPont are the Creme of the crop & they have tackled this Pandemic with a methodical scientific method, research, study, observations & effectiveness. Their crack team of RN’s and nurses should be greatly celebrated for their warmth, care and attention to detail. I have the upmost respect for this incredible crew. God Bless You All, you are saving lives, & that is most admirable.

Just got discharged last night after 5 days in the hospital. It was a great experience despite how sick I was. The staff was very professional and courteous and educated me every step of the way as to what they were doing and why. From my intake nurse Patrick to my shift nurses Katie and Brittany to my discharge nurse Daniel Lyons I had a comfortable experience. And Tonya Clark kept my room sanitized, spotless, and safe. I appreciate you all.
