Depot Café Restaurant

Stumbled on this cafe by chance and was so wonderfully surprised! The food was incredible! The eclectic atmosphere was a joy and the staff a pleasure to interact with. If you are in Manchester, VT, most definitely stop by and enjoy a most delicious meal!

What an interesting and delicious restaurant! The food was beyond wonderful and very authentic. My husband had a lamb dish and I had an eggplant stew—we were both so happy! We only wish we lived closer so we could come more often. Don’t miss this place for out of this world Turkish fare—and a most intriguing home store, as well!

This is an amazing Turkish restaurant. They have really great authentic small and large plates. Good wine and beer. They also have a huge store of furniture and home goods from around the world. A very interesting place.

I took my wife here for a special date night, she’s a fairly picky eater and she loved everything we ordered, from appetizer to dessert everything was fantastic. All of their dishes are cooked within their wood fired oven and cast iron pans, and trust me when I say you can taste the difference in their love for cooking. The service is incredible and atmosphere is so enjoyable, plus they sell their fine crafted goods from turkey and also sell their clay pots they cook their soups and such in! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the best food in Manchester.

Worth coming to this town to eat here! We were surprised to find ourselves dining inside a furniture and rug showroom! The humus was silky and rich. the char-grilled eggplant was garlicky and smokey, good with the lamb (Konya kebab). We love the fluffy pide bread and rice. The service was top-notched and we had a great conversation with the owner Alp. We were so full that we had to take the desserts home.

Boy oh boy, this place is the real deal. It feels like a hidden gem in Manchester. The food is consistently INCREDIBLE and so nourishing. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You can taste the quality ingredients and love! We’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he’s such a great guy and we’re so grateful to have Depot Cafe in our town!!

After a long drive from the Great North Woods in NH, we were looking forward to a good meal and not your ordinary restaurant fare. We found a gem. We had a lamb dish, a chicken dish and a glass of delicious wine. It was wonderful. The service was sweet and kind and we are still talking about how much we enjoyed our food. Thank you!

BEST RESTAURANT IN MANCHESTER
Went here out of the blue, and it is seriously one of the best meals I’ve had. The owner is amazing, and so nice! He designs most of the rugs/furniture you can browse while waiting for the delicious food. If you’re down in Manchester, would definitely recommend stopping in:)

This place was a gem. Superb Turkish food with organic & vegan options! The warm hummus with the sausage was to die for. The kofte kebob was amazing as well. It’s inside an awesome funky home furnishing store which is such a fun idea. Must try!!!

Very creative dining space combined with a furniture store. Cute rustic outdoor space too.
The food was amazing!!! I still remember their lentils soup, eggplant stew with rice and some spread with just baked homemade bread. It was incredibly delicious!

I love this place. Authentic and delicious Turkish food. My girlfriend is from Turkey and she said the food tasted like her mother’s. The stew with eggplant is my favorite. The owners and staff are all lovely people who go out of their way to make their customers feel at home. Dining here feels like family. This will be a mainstay whenever we visit Vermont.

We went there for a wedding reception and it was a blast. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was extraordinary! It's not only a restaurant, it's a Home goods store as well! In between the appetizers and the main meal we were able to browse and shop all the furniture, carpets, and art. The owner and his sons were amazing hosts! The service was impeccable and they preformed a drum dance for the bride and groom.

Absolutely incredible in every way. The food DIVINE, the service-warm and fantastic, the furnishings breathtaking. The originality and the work that went into the store is incredible. wonderful owners with such talent and passion. This was certainly one of the most memorial experiences I have had in recent years.

A unique dining experience, delicious authenitc Turkish food and a friendly game of backgammon with Alp, our host. The recommendations on food choices did not disappoint. Lots of GF, and Dairy free options. Highly recommended.

The most delicious food and best restaurant in all Manchester!! We love the warm hummus to start and all of the main dishes especially the Guvec stew. They also have many interesting and natural wines which we really appreciate! Thanks for bringing good food to Manchester! We always look forward to coming back here.

If you are visiting Manchester Center, do yourself a favor and enjoy the fantastic food and store. The wife is a truck driver. We were here to pick up a load heading south. We were treated very nicely, and the food was great. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Outstanding! Unique facility, spectacular food and furniture co. Warm hummus to die for. The owner was on staff and made the recommendations what to order. Turkish food which I would never eat however the place looked so cool from the outside, had to try it. My friend said " best salmon he ever ate". I highly recommend the warm hummus. Like no other hummus I ever had. A must for all foodies.
