Really good Mexican food with large portions… nobody in my family was able to eat it all which means we have food for dinner also… AND.. all day happy hour on Sunday made guacamole and drinks cheaper

Everything is great at this restaurant. Food is amazing. Service top notch. Spicy margarita good.. we had so much fun there and we all enjoyed our food. I definitely recommend it!

Delicious food, great drinks, and very nice staff. Definitely coming back! The Mexican street corn is actually two ears of corn, we didn’t know that so we ended up with four ears of corn. No big deal though because it was delicious and I added it to my fajitas!

Been here before and it's always great. Darrin our bartender took very good care us and we stayed for dinner at the bar..Fantastic as usual. Don't wait...Treat yourself to a great experience...Papa Grande"s.

We were seated immediately at a table upstairs inside. Cambell, our server, was very attentive and sweet! She gave us complimentary chips and salsa, and gave us plenty of time to order. The salsa was extremely good, we finished it very quickly haha. For a drink I got the Pineapple Tehito, it was very mild and refreshing. We got Blackened Shrimp Tacos with corn tortillas and the Adobo Chicken Quesadilla. Food was hot and quick to come out, the Ancho Honey served with the quesadilla was so delicious, I took some for my rice and beans :) There were tvs if you wanted to watch and good music, but it wasn’t too loud. Very nice environment, the sun came through the windows and it was a cool break from the heat outside. Will come again!

Service: Super fast! They were extremely busy and kept apologizing for being behind, but we never felt that service was slow. Our server was beyond friendly and offered us amazing suggestions.

Food: Super fresh! This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Delmarva area.
The specials were amazing. I had a steak chimichanga that was out of this world.

Drinks: Spicy Marg was perfection! Nice portion and strong!

Parking can be rough so plan ahead that it might take you a little time to find a spot on a weekend.

Food is so amazing! The flavors were so good. The cheesecake was to die for! A must try if you are passing through. Will definitely be back to try these Mexican dishes that are so elevated and flavorful.

Love this place! Great food and service. On a nice day they open the 'garage style' window door. Outstanding guacamole!! My fish taco had such a big portion of fish I could barely close the wrap!

Loved it. Great to see more options for food in OC area. Food and service were great. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the music and love the upstairs bar area.

Update: Still great, service was a little slow but it was super busy and the food still came out quickly once it was ready. We have made coming here part of our yearly trip to OC.

Always wanted to try and I'm glad I did. Spicy Rita was good (tequila with jalapeno) also had the street corn which was different then most places but very good. Cheesteak egg rolls were good. The best app was the shrimp tostados which were on a fried plantain. Chimichamga was good, pork could have been more seasoned but was still good. Scenery was exceptional. Service was good 👍

This was our first time here and it was delicious!! Everything from the drinks to the food was so good. The spicy margarita was perfection - not too spicy and not too sweet/sour. Great decor, great staff, and GREAT eats/drinks! We’ll definitely stop with the family next time we’re in town.

Also the really big booth seats were great for sleepy kids after a long day at the beach 😁

Great upscale Mexican restaurant. There is a really. nice vibe at the upstairs bar. They have a roll up garage door for summer. Good view of the bay by harpoon Hannah's. The portions are huge. Prices are a little high, but there are good daily specials, and happy hour can't be beat. Just FYI, they also have a decent tequila selection. I would highly recommend this spot. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable as well. As most places should be, salsas and hot sauces were House made.

Down for another off season trip to OC Maryland and stopped in Papa Grande's for lunch. We started off with Chori Queso Egg Rolls and they were delicious. My wife ordered the chicken and chorizo enchiladas and I ordered the Cheesesteak Burrito (made with birria beef and queso)...both were delicious!

I had the steak chimichurri burrito special and it was the best burrito. I’ve had in a long time. The cheese sauce on top is just killer.. Beautiful presentation tasted as good as it looked.

Highly recommend if you're looking for Mex/Cal or a good Tequila Bar in the Fenwick Island area. I had some of the best Pork Belly I've ever had here. And their Soft Crab tacos were amazing too. Huge selection of Tequila obviously.

I cannot believe this isn't a 4.8 or above. The service in most places post-COVID is dismal. The service here at the bar and table is 5 star. They anticipate your every need. Food is high quality and the portions are generous. Plenty to share, but you're not going to want to. I had blackened shrimp. Excellent. The onion rings used for a garnish are the best I have ever had. I'd give this place more stars if I could. Very very affordable!

Excellent. Never had a bad experience at a Sodel, ever. Food arrived faster than I have ever received food at a restaurant, and it was 5 completely different entrees. And it was a fairly busy Friday night. The staff was very friendly, and several different servers checked on us throughout our visit. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. There is only one thing that I would recommend - the lighting was just too low, we had trouble reading the menus it was so low. But overall, great dining experience as usual.

Be sure to check out this great tex-mex spot in Fenwick. We got the cheesesteak burrito and it was excellent! Our kids enjoyed the beef tacos and quesadilla and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was hopping on a Saturday night and the parking lot was tight and packed.

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! The portions are more than generous and extremely affordable compared to other restaurants as well as an overall better food quality than most other local restaurants! I highly recommend anybody in the area to check this place out it was well worth the wait and money we spent! Our sever was an absolute pleasure and recommend dishes for us to try and I can’t believe how spot on she was with delicious recommendations I never had enchiladas before until recommended ….I can’t remember her name but the family that had a 2 year old there for a birthday dinner appreciate you !
