Holiday Inn Express & Suites Louisville N - Jeffersonville, an IHG Hotel

Let's start with a quick one sentence overall description of this establishment (for the review readers who don't like to read a detailed review). "If you are in the area and need a place to stay, then look no further."

The hotel itself is clean, cozy and very well maintained. So there's no need to get too detailed with that. What I mainly want to spend the majority of this review on is the staff. And it's because of them that makes this the go-to place when planning a stay in this area. Day to day operations seem to be mostly run by a group of women that all have superb customer relation skills. I travel for work so I'm staying here for about a month and it's definitely welcoming when you walk in the door after a long day to Shea greeting you with a smile and asking how your day was. Due to my crazy long work days, I didn't get to meet the manager Harley in person but when we spoke on the phone she was an absolute sweetheart and accommodating to the fullest. There are two other young ladies, that I know their names but it's escaping me right now (🤦), but they have been absolutely amazing as well.

I'll wrap it up by saying I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to stay.

The room was clean. The front desk employee was so sweet. The most incredible part of our stay was Ms Joyce she made us feel like family. She should get a pay increase and a promotion. She is the type of lady that gives your faith back in humanity. Thank you Ms Joyce!!!

My wedding party and guests stayed here in July as my venue was pretty close. We had an informal pizza dinner the night before, and the bridal party had hair and makeup done in the conference room the next morning. The staff was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. There was another large group there at the same time, and we still felt like we had the royal treatment. They even played Lookout for my groom when I had to run from the conference room to the elevator!
And the ladies that handled breakfast were so sweet and took the extra steps to make my day that much more special! The rooms were also clean and comfortable!

Amazing service,great hotel, worth the money. great rooms/bathroom. Staff is amazing and so sweet very helpful especially shay and Allison. Indoor pool is heated and perfect for the family. Would definitely recommend and will be coming to this hotel every time I come back to visit in Indiana.

I pretty much stay at a Holiday Inn about 300 nights a year. This place has top notch customer service, The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. The property is always clean from the outside to the inside. I have stayed at this property multiple times in the last year and never have had a problem. I have read a lot of these reviews and never had this experience. I tend to believe that if you come into a place with a bad attitude you’re going to have a bad experience. This location has so many options to shop and eat within walking distance!! Would highly recommend this place!!

The hotel is almost three years old and it still seems like it is brand new. The staff is super friendly and nice. Breakfast was great and the breakfast attendants are friendly and nice. They both go above and beyond to make a nice breakfast experience.

This hotel and it's team are amazing! I travel for business in the area and this is my home away from home. I feel safe here and it is very clean. Couldn't ask for better accommodations.

Enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Jeffersonville. Rooms were very clean. Very nice staff. Location is great. So many Restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.

Holiday in Express we pretty much know what we will get. A basic room pretty comfortable bed great pillows and yummy cinnamon rolls with breakfast. My girls enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day of driving. We were however beyond pleased with the breakfast service. I feel badly I didn't catch the name of the lovely woman taking care of everything but she was wonderful. An absolute delight. She was pure joy and hospitality with everyone she encountered. So friendly and loving to all. A real people person. This world needs more people like her.

We had to stay outside of Louisville & we decided on this location. Great idea! The staff is awesome, and the rooms were nice, large, clean, stylish!

Everything at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the decor was modern and pleasant, the breakfast was superb. But what stood out to me the most was just how friendly, happy and helpful all the staff were. Most hotels I’ve stayed at are just a blur in my memory, but this one will stand out in my mind just for its excellence!

The location is perfect and very quiet at night. The room was clean, and the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was topped off with water by staff, so that was a fail.
In the morning, I went down for breakfast, and the coffee dispenser was empty. The plates available were sparse, the scrambled eggs and pork links were very overdone, but the lady walking around asking how everything was had plenty of time to go outside and take a break. I'm sure everything could be better with staff training.

The only thing I could find wrong was there were no towels in the pool area. I

A great family friendly hotel! My family stayed here one night as we traveled out west. It is a very nice place to stay and is situated in a great area full of dining options. Comfortable and updated rooms.

One of the amenities of the hotel was unavailable the evening we stayed. But Cyrus, the general manager, went well above and beyond to take care of things and we were extremely impressed by his and the team's commitment to customer service even though the issue was well beyond their control.

We had to make an early departure, but we were able to grab some of the excellent breakfast for the road. As we tried to get plates for our kids, Miss Joyce took amazing care of us and even helped us plate up some food and put saran wrap over them to make them ready for the road. She took great pride in the breakfast service, and this care she showed our family was truly appreciated.

Cyrus and his team run a great hotel! Would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves driving through the area.

I stayed at this hotel for the Louder than Life music festival and I had a great experience. My room was very clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Price was reasonable given the event going on in Louisville that weekend. Manager was friendly and the staff were as well. Everything about my stay was the level of quality you’d expect from a Holiday Inn. I was happy to tell everyone that I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night 😆.

Oh my goodness is an understatement! That location is the very best Holiday Inn and Suites I have experienced in my whole life. The room was a handicapped accessible room for my needs. It was the best and my very favorite room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was exceptional! The lady that takes care of making sure you have the best breakfast you can have to start your day in the most awesome way, is by far the most curious, professional, caring about you as a person as a whole human I have ever met. Her contagious smiling face always started my day leaving me with an awesome feeling that I tried to pay forward throughout every day. She and ALL the employees at The Holiday Inn and Suites in Jeffersonville Indiana went above and beyond every day to make everyone's stay the most enjoyable they have ever experienced. You will be very satisfied to say the least to stay at that location.

Holiday Inn is always our choice when traveling. We've never had a bad experience. However none of our prior stays, nor future will come close to this. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. Miss Joyce takes the cake though. I have a baby and a seven year old. My Husband was helping the 7yo with breakfast while I was managing the baby and getting my own food. Miss Joyce swooped in and helped make my plate, carried it to the table and got us all situated. She is a fantastic employee and all around person. The rooms were clean, food was hot, and we had a great experience, so much so my 7yo asked to stay another night! All locations should arrive to be as wonderful. Miss Joyce could definitely teach them all a thing or two.

Yikes. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING customer service by Ms. JOYCE in the kitchen. She truly cares about loving her neighbors. She took care of my family like it was her own. So much so that we decided to stay another night just to experience that love again. Management was also amazing. She needs a raise and recognition for her genuine spirit.

A beautiful business without beautiful service is beautifully painful. The fine lady (Shay) is just the most attentive and oriented me with a caring spirit.

She definitely makes me feel less home sick. I left my doggie and marsupial in Miami.
Yet, I'm pretty happy to have booked my week at this particular location.
