Easily the best haircut for the best price in Manhattan. I’ve had a great experience with every barber that’s cut my hair here, so you can’t go wrong just walking in. My last time in I got my haircut with Boris. I came in two minutes before they closed up shop for the night, but he very graciously stayed open just to cut my hair. Genuinely good and friendly people who give fantastic haircuts.

I was nervous about coming to a barber so far away from home, but this was by far the best haircut experience I have had. I did a walk-in on a Sunday and only waited 20 minutes for service. I walked in with a mop of hair and a general idea/picture of what I wanted and I walked out more than satisfied.

They have a range of skilled barbers who communicate well and pay close attention to detail. I got my hair cut by Boris and he exemplifies what was said prior and has the passion and skill of a master barber. I was very pleased with my experience and I will be coming again as the price is reasonable and the service is phenomenal.

If you are a Columbia student, I recommend going during the week as they have a student discount.

Just got a great cut from Boris. This is my fourth time in a row coming back to the shop. Different barbers, but positive experiences every time. They’ve all listened and communicated well. All very skilled. Boris is the best so far. Friendly but very professional with a thorough attention to detail.

Came to the shop today lomg over due for a haircut. I got taken care by Boris. He's a great guy! He took his time and cut my hair exactly what I asked for. Im definitely coming back for my next cut.

Excellent service. I had my hair cut and I normally don't dry it with a hairdryer so I thought that the length was ok when I left the shop. But then after going home and showering I realized I wanted it a bit shorter because of some curls I was grappling with. I came back the next day and they made all the necessary adjustments with a great final result. Definitely recommended!

Ruben is an amazing barber. You get a great cut at a great price! The beard trim with a straight shave is definitely worth it as well.

Came here on a walk-in Sunday morning. The service was very personable and I was treated well. Boris was an experienced hair stylist, as I showed him a reference picture for the haircut I wanted. He talked me through how he was styling it, and he even gave me recommendations for other styles to try. I had really long hair and cut it fairly short, and Boris did a great job of matching my hair to how I wanted it. Would definitely recommend others to get their hair cut here and to get it cut by Boris as well!

Visiting from the Bay area to scope out Columbia as a potential grad school. Staying in Harlem for the week and needed a cut nearby. Came by around 10:30am, no frills, and an easy walk-in. Boris was helpful in getting the cut I wanted. Definitely will be my go-to if I end up going to school here. Thanks Boris!

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for 10 years. Boris is my new guy (my former barber, the amazing Minna, recently retired). Boris recognized me and remembered exactly how he cut my hair. A few times my primary barber was out when I needed a cut, and the other guys and gals always do an amazing job too. When you find a good barber you don’t mess with it. So Boris and his team can count on my business as long as I’m living in NYC.

Boris gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I went in with a rats nest of hair on my head and left with a clean professional look.
My hair isn't the easiest to work with, it's super thick and I have cowlicks, but Boris took care of it no problem. I showed him 2 pictures of what I was looking for and he 100% delivered. He made sure I was happy with the cut from start to finish. The whole shop was welcoming and kind and I willi definitely be going back again. I can't recommend this place enough. Lastly you can't beat the price. I've gotten much worse haircuts for 2-3x the price of what these guys charge.

First time visit to this barbershop and will definitely come again. Boris is skilled and detailed-oriented. I got a high bald fade and a trim off the top, and Boris nailed it. The hot towel at the end was a nice finishing touch. Really appreciate the laid back atmosphere and having fun conversations.

I’ve been coming here for nearly a decade. They have plenty of barbers and rarely a wait. I love that I can just stop by, get a great haircut and be on my way. Boris cut my hair recently and was very meticulous. His years of experience is evident. He even finished the cut with a hot towel, which was great.

I got a great haircut by Gabi, I came in at noon and was immediately helped. It was my first time at this shop, Gabi listened well and gave an excellent cut - highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Boris did a great job with my hair. Always does an amazing fade. He is always very patient with my hair. He can do it all, he uses the straight razor on my neck and ends with a warm towel. A plus service.
