Good Dr I went to him as a kid my dad always went back with me my dad went to him now my wife n kids go to him and I always go back

I took my daughter there last month to have her cap replaced. He took her back and made me stay in the waiting room. About 30 minutes passed, and he opened the door and said, "come here". My daughter was so red in the face and you could tell that she was very upset. Dr. Bender told me I needed to make wiser choices about the care of my daughter, and that was it. When we walked out of the office, my 7 year old completely let loose, and began crying hysterically. I asked what happened, and she said he shoved her mouth open, put the cap in place and forced her to bite down as hard as she could. She began crying, and Bender told her to shut up!!! He said there was a baby in the room and if she didn't shut up, she would wake up the baby. I was completely furious and let them know we would never be back again. He is rude and unprofessional!!!

I totally forgot about all the awful things that he did to me. He was my first dentist, I started going to him when I was 5. I am now 37. Someone posted about him putting his hand over their mouth and nose; I can still remember what his hand smelled like and it was always really cold! He was so rude and mean anytime I felt any sort of pain. I must have been to afraid to tell my mom being as young as I was. I must have blocked these memories until now when I was reading these other reviews. Do not take your children to him if he is still practicing, you don’t want your kids to have these same memories when they are older

My sister and I both went to Dr. Bender as children and both of us were severely traumatized by the treatment we received at his office. I have scars in my soft palate where he forced my mouth closed on a bite wing x-ray film that was too large. It cut into the tissue under my tongue and was severely painful. When I began to cry because of the pain, he told me to "Shut up, you big baby!" We also suspect that he gave us unnecessary fillings in order to bill our Medicaid insurance to pad his coffers. I never had a teeth cleaning at his office that didn't result in having a filling scheduled. I recently asked my current dentist to assess the old fillings (I have one in nearly every tooth) and he expressed his doubts that they were all necessary based their placement and the strength of my enamel.

I can't believe Dr. Bender is still in practice, I remember going to him when I was like. 9 or 10 years old? But I'm in my 20's now and I still joke with my friends about the dreadful Bender. I would always walk out hopped up on loopy gas and I barely really remember much of what would happen in the office besides yelling and pain. IItried telling my mom what was happening when I was a kid but she never believed me. Please for the love of gall do NOT take your kids here. I ended up getting 8 CAPS that WERE NOT NECESSARY and it really messed up my teeth.

Went here as a kid. He was completely horrible. From smothering me we I cried, to telling my that he kept babies in the closet. I cannot believe that he is still practicing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!

I still fear the dentist 30 years later, he used to put his hand over my nose and mouth until I flailed my arms and legs if I cried during a procedure. Worst dentist I’ve ever met.

As a child this guy traumatized me.
