Bronx Library Center

Large, clean facility. The children’s area is large and spacious with clean, always locked bathrooms. The security guard will check your bag on leaving as there is not an alarm system tracking the books. Great selection for adults and children. On Fordham, near parks and a multitude of shopping and restaurants.

There are around 5 floors each are designated for different things like the first floor is for Teens only and the others above are places like the terrace computer room or an adult only floor. There are many books about different topics ranging from manga to study books. There are many different sorts of programs that they do almost daily. If you are looking for a Library that has a sense of community this one is a great choice!

A staple of the neighborhood really, great resources and kind & patient staff. Sad that the city cut funding and now NYPL isn't open on Sundays. Very upsetting ://

This library is huge. They do search your bags when you are leaving out.The children’s area is very well kept as well the restrooms. They have security on every floor, if you actually want to get work done and use the computer it’s best if you go early before all the computers are occupied.

This library has the best hours out of all the branches. During the week they are open until 9pm and even open on Sundays. The space is large and well kept, the children's area is very nice and the staff was very helpful.

quaint,well kept and with alot of options..get your card made and then you are good to go..

Absolutely awesome library, basically lived by here almost my entire life (Bronx River/Bayou) and never knew of it.

Place is really big with multiple floors.
And so far staff extremely helpful.

It was my first time visiting and it was surprisingly wonderful- very quiet, a decent selection of books, wide spaces, a terrace, and friendly staff. So much better than the somewhat rude and oppressive midtown staff and security.

This Library used to be a Con Edison job that my mother worked at for many years! And this Library helps me when I get new video games from Gamestop! And I need to get some knowledge to try and bring The Shredder; Also Known As: Oroku Saki and his evil minions to justice for killing Hamato Yoshi; Better Known As Master Splinter!

This library is huge with multiple floors and an elevator. It's a very nice place. It wasn't crowded at the time we went. Today is October 19, 2021 and we attended an 11am event for coloring and collages. Esther was the host of this event. She was amazing! We colored and it was so therapeutic. I would do it again. FYI....the young slim security guard that was downstairs with us was really nice.

There aren't words to describe how FABULOUS this library is! The resources, the beauty of the structure itself and the library staff who are a great help in getting to know your way around the library because it is VAST! ...lol 👑💞💎

Very good place.
I love read a books. 💖The library is very quiet. You can read comfortably and the attractions are very good. All very organized. Every time I come to this place I leave very satisfied.👍💗🌿

A big library with multiple floors and a basement. As of this writing it not fully open but it's open enough to find your book. Of course all the computers have pretty fast internet, and the wireless is fast too. There's even a veranda outside, where in good weather you can go outside and read 📚.

Such a clean, quiet environment. Staff super helpful. I was able to find everything I was looking for even a book I wasn't. I definitely will make this my Saturday afternoon down time place.

One of the best kept libraries in terms of facilities, staff and environment.
It’s open on Saturdays till 6pm which is a big plus. Only thing lacking is that they don’t have as many power outlets for laptop charging.
But a very nice place overall.

Wow nicely place the library center. Perfect they have a copy scanner printer 20cents per paper. They have free a WiFi. That is great.

This place is really good beacsue the library is huge and has a variety of books. Plus all of the staffs are nice and they help u when u need it. I went to this place when I was 5 and it was good, and I loved it ever since. I'll come back here again.

This library is amazing. Their are six floors. The 1stbfloor is for tens and also the circu.ations desk. C is where the have programs in the auditorium like languages and other things. 2 is for the children. 3rd if for adults. 4th is for research so their are computers andndiffrent language books. 5th is for business stuff their are also computers up there but a limited amount and you must be a certain age to use them. The workers are very warm and inviting and they are always their to lend a hand whether its books or venting. So all in all Bronx Library Center is home away from home for me and always will be. I hope you find it as exciting as I do.
