Wonderful coffee shop hidden away in Paramus by the town center. I came here to play some chess, but was amazed by the tranquil nature of the interior, the beautiful minimalist decor, the awesome staff and owner, and of course the small record shop in the back. I got an iced caramel latte which hit the spot. They played interesting music, and have lots of board games available to play. Overall, had an amazing experience, and I look forward to returning soon.

My favorite local cafe. I’m from NY and it meets our standards. Love the chill atmosphere, quality specialty drinks/bites, GOOD music, cool record store concept! It gives Bklyn vibes in a secluded area that’s not over crowded. Kind of a hidden gem IMO.

We ordered drinks and pastries for 13 people this morning and everything was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We loved the guava and cheese pastry so much we got another one and the same sitting. I love turmeric so the golden latte really hit the spot. Highly recommend!!!

The ube latte was fun, I'll return to try the other flavors.
It is in a commercial/office type building but the space inside is all it's own - expansive, clean, and light. Plenty of tables for studying or hanging out.
The ube tres leches was okay (tasted like normal cake but I was expecting more uniqueness), I'd get something else next time.

WOW! Great coffee, cool people and it is groovy here. I got 3 drinks because they were all unique and they were all delicious. This is an amazing coffee shop/cafe and whoever built and manages this place is a very thoughtful person.

Love this place! Second time here, the staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable of drinks, prioritize the customer experience, and would love nothing more than for you to have a good time. They made me feel very welcome, and answered some Q’s about drinks and pastries. I recommend the Hulk (Ube+Matcha), the Ube Latte, and the Ube Pan De Sal, haven’t tried the other things yet

This might honestly be the best coffee in Bergen County, and to top it off man the vibe at this place is immaculate. I usually come in for a quick iced espresso for that early afternoon pick me up, but this place has awesome food savory and sweet, cool seasonal options and its super chill inside. Plus they have great taste in music. 10/10 spot.

Thumbody is unlike any other cafe around the area. In this cafe, the staff makes you feel like home and they make the atmosphere very comfortable and welcoming. They offer fresh pastries and the beverages are refreshing and delicious. Not only is it a cute, aesthetic cafe, but it is also a record shop with many records you can choose from. My personal favorite beverage is the honey lavender drink and my favorite pastry is the ube pan de Sal with cream cheese. Go and check them out! Huge shout out to Marcus and Audrey!

Thumbody is an exceptional coffee shop. Every time you step into it you’re left with a great experience and great food/coffee. The new space is fantastic. I would gladly come here any day to chill, drink coffee, listen to music, or catch up with friends/family. 👍🏼

VERY unassuming. If coming on a dark day, you might just miss it. It's located in an office building with dark windows and they have a small sign out front on the sidewalk for their business.
Inside is a cozy, eclectic, scene with a small record nook and great amount of seating. Staff was more than lovely and 🇵🇭 which WE LOVE TO SEE.
We ordered The Hulk (pictured) which is a ube matcha mix. Super light and not too sweet- the perfect easy pick-me-up. As well as their Vietnamese Coffee (not pictured) which was super smooth and tasty. I wanted to combine them but then I'd be zooming.
All in all, great vibes, great selection and great staff. Will be returning to this nice hidden gem 🫶🏽

I personally don't leave reviews for places because I could not be bothered most of the time but I feel like the place deserves one. best coffee shop in Bergen County hands down. been here twice so far and got the hulk and a pastry that was on the house, and the second time I got the golden latte. food, atmosphere, and staff do not disappoint. there's a great modern atmosphere in this place and in my experience, cafes usually excel in either atmosphere or the food, but thumb body is extraordinary in both. the owners and staff build a great relationship with their customers. second time i came, they remembered my name and they are always up for good conversation when they aren't busy. prices are so reasonable/good. cheaper than other coffee shops and the quality is exponentially better. there's no reason not to try this place out and be a regular. best coffee shop with the best staff

Delicious iced coffee and a cool shop. They use Nguyen coffee as well ⭐⭐⭐. Great pan de sal, too!

Got the iced ube matcha (the hulk) and the rise & shine (espresso, tonic, oj) and both drinks exceeded my expectations, wowww. i was pleasantly surprised that i didn’t need to add any sweetener to the hulk- it was perfection! we also got the ube pan de sal w/cream cheese, which we devoured. staff is awesomeee & love that the shop is dog friendly!! will definitely be back soon!!

What an amazing little coffee shop! Hidden in the belly of a suburban office complex but well worth the effort to find it (use the rear entrance opposite the parking lot). Extremely nice staff and reasonable prices for coffee that was better than Starbucks. Plenty of seating too. I'll definitely come back.

This cafe is a great space to sit and get some work done. Love the spaciousness and their taste in music. The Hulk drink was my favorite! Can't wait to go back and try the pastries too.

Nice quiet café with plenty of parking and delicious bites. Ube Cream Cheese Pandesal, Honey lavender iced latte, ube latte yum yum yum! Will defintely be back to try more flavors and sample the music. Thanks for the friendly service! Bonus: order drinks online ahead of time if you're in a rush to pick up. Edit: This cafe is dog-friendly if you want to bring your pup! Ask for a treat at the counter.

I work in the same building and love this cafe! The Hulk is an amazing drink, and unique in this area. Everyday a Nutella croissant or Almond raspberry starts the day off perfectly. Great service with great drinks and food and music that completes this cafe. Looking for a place to go to for coffee or pastries this is perfect for you. Come and say hi to Marcus or Audrey to start your mornings right.

As a professional coffee critic who have reviewed 5+ cafes in Bergen County, this was one of my favorite! The coffee was fresh and tasty, the pastry was delicious, and the staff was so friendly! There is a hidden vinyl record store behind the walls. My lady definitely enjoyed her coffee there too. Will be coming back weekly!

Funky Cafe inside Rothman Ortho building on first floor. So easy to get too and better than going the the Starbucks in Target for your fix. Great global coffee offerings plus tradition fare like lattes, cappuccino and such. GET THE PASTRIES!!! ALL OF THEM! They are delicious. I am new to Philipino desserts and treats and glad this was my first endeavor. Lunch items and breakfast rock and they cater to gluten free and vegan diets!! Run by a young local couple the atmosphere is funky and cute. A nice place to meet a friend for a coffee or get some work done! Plus there's culture music and mags!! Did I mention parking!!!! A++

I stumbled upon Thumbody a few weeks ago when I was trying to find Vietnamese coffee. It's tucked inside a medical building, but don't let that stop you. It's clean, bright, and almost welcoming. This cool little space features a great menu with drinks such as ube and matcha lattes (yes, mixed together), passionfruit refreshers and delicious Filipino inspired baked goods like the ube pan de sal (come EARLY for these bad boys!!!) and the ube tres leches - or if you're looking for something different, you can pick up an egg and cheese croissant or other tasty filled croissants. The only downside about Thumbody is that it is too far away for me to visit every day.

Or if coffee's not your thing, take a look at the vinyls lining the walls, or take a few moments to catch up with Audrey and Marcus.

Sit down, have some great coffee, start a conversation about music and food, listen to the podcast curated by the owners or ask what they're spinning. And, please - do NOT say damn when you see those prices!!!
