We come here about once every couple years and always have a great experience.

I got a peppermint cookie martini that was amazing, friends got yummy drinks too. We would have loved for the seasonal drinks to have a menu to look over. We almost didn’t get drinks at all bc there was nothing listed and we had to ask and then wait for our server to go ask someone else. They would definitely sell more seasonal drinks if they printed a menu, even a simple one.

For me:
Fried green beans 10/10
Peanut slaw 10/10
Alfredo pasta 7/10 (ate 1/3 and took it home to hubby)
Peppermint martini 12/10

Great place with good consistent food. Dark atmosphere with candlelight on table. Salads are always fresh. The prices are reasonable and make it easy to go back and try more dishes. The service is friendly and fast. This would be a great spot for a casual date night or I’m tired of cooking but want real food not frozen and fried.

Ribs are fantastic. Peanut slaw is different but worth trying if you like slaw. We were there with another couple and lots of discussionwas had. We arrived at 6:30 and left when they closed at 10. If they didn't have empty tables, we wouldn't have occupied one as long. We were never rushed. This was our first visit, and it was a great overall experience.

This is a greater Cincinnati best kept secret. We were sat in the post office booth. What a deal! Great prices, great service and wonderful food. We found this place after skiing at Perfect North Ski Resort. You won't be disappointed. The French Onion soup is to die for.

What a gem! This historic restaurant in Lawrenceburg is a quaint, historic place with friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. And by the way, the food is great. Started with loaded potato skins. Then the famous peanut slaw which you won’t find anywhere else and is amazing. Got the breaded tenderloin and was not disappointed. A must visit if you are in the area!

A real hidden gem! Our family hasn’t had a bad meal here. Peanut slaw is so good. Even took some home for lunch the following day. We always stop here when we’re in the neighborhood. Can get busy but we got there late and had no issues.

Spent the weekend in Lawrenceburg and googled steakhouses in the area. Came across Whiskeys and after seeing pictures of their food I knew this was the place for me. I can tell you without a doubt I would travel the 2 hours again just to go back to Whiskeys. I ordered the Delmonaco steak and it was hands down melt in your mouth delicious. The staff....no matter who your server was...they asked how everything was, if you needed anything 100% the best staff ever. I would highly suggest you give their peanut slaw a try it was something I have never heard of before but I'm sold on going back to Whiskeys and bringing myself a cooler so I can bring some back with me SO GOOD!! Please give this establishment a try you will not be disappointed.

Onion soup was delicious. Shrimp linguine...not so much.Noodles were rubbery,tasteless.Shrimp were chewy. Not so great for my birthday dinner.

We love the peanut slaw, seafood linguini, ribs and atmosphere. My salmon was overcooked, but they replaced it promptly. Thank you for a great Valentines date.

The food was bomb! I had the slab of ribs. Highly recommended and the waitresses were totally nice to interact with. Very pleased with the service and food.

It’s very nice clean place food is great. Love the peanut coleslaw different. Server is very friendly. Try the cheesecake with popsicle stick and smothered with raspberry sauce wonderful!

Absolutely delicious mom and pop restaurant!!! Delicious food, great price, and friendly staff in a quaint and cozy establishment. Highly recommend the ribs but I suggest going light on the bbq sauce or getting it on the side. Peanut slaw is really good but you have to love peanuts/peanut butter to enjoy it.

A great place to host small parties! We used the small back room for a rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect intimate setup. The waitresses made sure everything ran smoothly. We had a small menu with main dishes and side dishes to choose from and everything was delicious. The coleslaw with crushed peanuts on top sounded strange, but was such a great addition to already good coleslaw.

Been going there for 30 years. I got a steak once and it was a good steak, but the ribs and sauce are 2nd to no one in the Cincinnati area.

My family has regularly dined at Whisky's for my entire life. It is a hidden gem that is always worth a visit. The New York Strip and the Salmon are my usual go-to dishes but my favorite menu item is the peanut slaw. It is the best coleslaw you can find. Truly unique and delicious.

The good is delicious, no matter what you get. The ribs especially, and the spicy Cajun chicken salad are my favorites!

We were seated right away. Service and food were great. Food came out hot.

Had a party of 10. Seated within 10 minutes and the service was excellent. We took our cake in for a Birthday we were celebrating and they held the cake in the back until we were ready for it and brought candles that we had forgotten. The food we ordered was hot and delicious. Waiter was there for our every need. We will definitely be returning. There were many customers there but they still seated us quite quickly and you would have thought we were the only ones there. Wonderful experience 👏❤
