Athletico Physical Therapy - Plainfield IN

In a five year span, I have had two knee replacement surgeries. Lucas Surface was my physical therapist both times. I cannot praise Lucas and the team enough. Just recently, after my second knee surgery, I encountered other issues with my leg (pulled hamstring, etc.). Lucas helped me achieve full mobility. The atmosphere at Athletico is relaxed and fun. If I ever need physical therapy in the future, I’ll choose Athletico and Lucas as my therapist. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and pretty funny, too!

Well to start off I wanna say that 5 starts is no where near what this place and Lucas deserve as a whole. Lucas was upfront and had me set realistic expectations from the first appointment with him. He laid out the entire treatment process, explained in detail that I not only needed to be there at physical therapy but needed to be doing the exercises at home to. The treatment, respect and just the welcome feeling you get while there makes the service over the top. I could go on but I feel that would be rambling at this point. My suggestion for anyone who needs physical therapy should do yourself a favor and go talk to Lucas and see for yourself the 10 star treatment not only he provides but the whole facility. Again thank you Lucas from my family and I for getting me back to where I am and the fantastic treatment you provide.

Athletico of Plainfield is an absolutely fantastic place. After getting hurt at work I had been sent there without much expectations or experience in physical therapy. I saw Dillon and through realistic goals and thorough exercises I could continue at home I rehabilitated quite quickly. While there, I saw many others who were in need of PT get thorough attention and care. I can tell they just have a great staff and were very personable with everyone who walked in the door. The atmosphere of the building is very infectious and welcoming! I highly recommend them for physical therapy needs and couldn't be more pleased with my results!

Wonderful team, Travis was awesome. I had a knee with limited range of motion. He developed a plan that gave me 75% improvement with a way to continue on my own to get to 90%. Everyone is friendly and very professional. Thank you!

I had reconstructive surgery on my left foot in January and was recommended to come here for physical therapy to help my foot recover.

The people here have truly outdone themselves. A very nice, clean environment (I have seen them clean every table, machine, and piece of equipment every single time it is used), along with very courteous and respectful staff, and they give a great workout on top of that!

I’ve personally seen a lot of growth in terms of balance and strength with my foot, which is what me and my PT set as our goals on day one. Additionally, they gave me plenty of workouts to do even though I’ve been discharged as of today, and they encouraged me to call or email regularly for more workouts when the ones I have currently get too easy. The fact that they are willing and wanting to help even after your “last” appointment should speak volumes of their dedication and quality. The workouts in person were rigorous, but not to the point of extreme soreness or pain that lasted long. They allow you to take breaks during the workout to catch your breath, and also provide plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

On top of that, when I started, I only had three weeks to be there until I moved out to college, and the staff bent over backwards to make sure I would have enough appointments to see substantial improvements with my foot. They give as many appointments per week as you want so it fits your schedule, and they also allow you to reschedule if something comes up (though they ask for 24 hours’ notice, if possible).

Finally, I personally get very anxious when I have appointments regarding my foot, and typically end up have this feeling of dread looming over me on the day of an appointment, but I’ve noticed that I don’t dread and actually look forward to my next appointment here. With very kind staff with great personalities that try to make the workout and recovery fun and enjoyable, I’m not surprised that I ended up looking forward to my appointments.

I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience here, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Athletico family, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Athletico offers a clean, supportive environment in which the professionalism cannot be matched. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and they truly cared for my recovery. The Physical Therapist I worked with predominately Karlie is someone I’d recommend in high regard. She’s fun, smart, and you can rely on her to go above and beyond to help you make sure you reach your goals and stay on track of your path to recovery. There wasn’t a single question I asked that she couldn’t answer, I was constantly kept informed and guided perfectly through every step the process. I had surgery on both of my knees this summer and went to Athletico Plainfield for PT afterwards after each surgery. Lucas was my PT for both knees and everything went great, he was right on top of everything I needed to be doing, I really appreciate him working so hard to get my stiff knee moving. I also worked with Karlie, Dillon, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Alexis and others, all did a great job progressing me through my rehab. Danielle does a great job managing the front desk too. All staff members are friendly, professional and want you to do your best. So happy there is a PT clinic providing this level of expert care in Plainfield! Thanks!

Karlie is the best PT therapist and she has such a sweet personality too! Very caring and always making sure you're doing okay during your workout. Liz is also very helpful! They are both so nice, caring and have a smile ready when you walk in the door! It's like extended family....not just a place to heal! All the staff is just very nice and helpful!

Specifically, I want to thank Lucas for his knowledge and treatment of my Achilles tendonitis. He explained what the plan would be going forward and gave me info on what to do on my own.

The Athletico in Plainfield, Indiana has the most wonderful physical therapists, namely Karli and Travis! Dannielle happily meets you at the door. Such a pleasant place to go! Highly recommend them for any physical therapy services. I had regular physical therapy and dry needling which helped me walk right again!!

I couldn't ask for a better place to go for physical therapy!! Karlie and Kaitlyn, her helper, always made me feel welcome and comfortable - they genuinely care and ask often how you are feeling day to day.....actually, everyone here is friendly and caring....a complete staff that seems like family! Danielle always greeted me at the front desk with a smile and kind words when I arrived for therapy. I think that Karlie and all the staff must love their jobs, which helps make it a pleasant place to be even when working through pain! I always felt better after my sessions here. This is a great place and I’m so happy that I chose this place over other places for my shoulder therapy! I had rotator cuff surgery and 6 months later I had a reverse shoulder replacement. I am amazed at my progress on both shoulders thanks to Travis and his road map to my recovery. He is a great therapist, very knowledgeable and fun to work with. You are in great hands with Travis or anyone else on his crew! You will not regret doing your therapy at his place.

My experience was fantastic. I can’t say enough about my therapist Lucas. He is efficient, effective and knowledgeable about what works for a particular issue. Athletico is professional yet they have fun with each other and the clients.

Where in the World do I start…. Mr. Travis Mason, took care of Me from my first initial visit all the way through my Work Conditioning and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t have any issues or questions regarding my therapy. Mr. Travis Mason everyday was uplifting and always positive to Everyone in the facility not just Me. Athletico definitely has outdone themselves hiring this Young Man!

When Mr. Mason was out of the office, I had the pleasure of working with several others to continue my therapy. All of the Athletico Staff is inviting, knowledgeable, dedicated, caring, and extremely fun people to be around. THE REALLY NICE PART OF THE PLAINFIELD ATHLETICO IS, YOU DON’T GET TREATED LIKE A NUMBER OR THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO PUSH YOU OUT THE DOOR TO GET PAID, THEY GENUINELY CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS! In today’s World that is something to embrace and be proud of.

I knew I was going to therapy, but had no idea I would meet such neat and great people (patients), and Athletico employee’s. Hendricks County has some really good people! Caring and Sharing that’s what it’s all about, and Mr. Travis Mason and his dedicated Crew is second to none.
