I ordered through Uber Eats. We had pulled pork sandwiches, charred carrots and BBQ Mac & cheese. Everything was amazing. I look forward to dining at the restaurant in the future. I am so happy I chose the carrots as a side dish. Such a phenomenal way to eat carrots. I ordered from me again. Never disappointed. How do they char those carrots??

So I first tried their vegetarian breakfast sandwich and lavender biscuits and gravy at the farmers market - delicious! And they gave me a coupon for $5 off at their restaurant. Went here and ordered the Big Shoulders salad -just one to split because my bf was skeptical - and we gobbled it up and even considered buying another one!! The beef brisket was so wonderful and crispy and the dressing was delicious, everything was fresh and fast, the pickled cauliflower was amazing in there too. Cute homey atmosphere and they played indie music. Overall delicious, probably a little pricey for some items without a gift card but definitely fresh and would come back for that salad!!

We stopped into this gem and are so glad we did! We ordered two sandwiches, and their brisket and pulled pork were phenomenal, 10/10. With one sandwich, we got the house chips, which were pretty good. The second sandwich, we got the fries. The only complaint is that they only gave you a reasonable portion of fries. One bite, and you'll definitely want more. 15/10 would recommend.

Great service and delicious menu offerings. We came for Sunday brunch, and had a great time. The chard vegetable sides to go with some meals and in the hash are so flavorful and delicious, and the pork belly and brisket was to die for.

Really awesome experience here. Food and service was chill and amazing. Sitting by the open windows is a good spot. The food came out really fast for a Friday night.

They'd make a mint if they sold the BBQ sauce! Hint of cinnamon maybe? The food came hot to our table and did not disappoint. They were short staffed, but took care of it with a smile.

Rooster's Kitchen is so good! This is comfort food at its finest, and well worth the price. Never have I ever had such decadent macaroni and cheese! There are so many add-ons like a fried egg, broccoli, garlic, bacon, brisket, etc. The grilled cheese with brisket was also to die for, and the side of grilled carrots was perfect. Try the pork rinds as an app. They also have a great beer list, and the people working were so friendly.

Amazing food. Mac and cheese ironically fell short for me. Maybe I needed some of the unique toppings. Kettle chips were delicious. I don’t normally eat then because they are too hard. These had perfect crunch. Belly bites and Ruben was fantastic.

Dang Daniel. Rolled in at 15 minutes prior to kitchen closing and had one of the best meals I could have hoped for after a long day on the road.

Started with the BBQ Belly Bites, then the Buddha Bowl with free shavcado and an egg, and then closed it all out with a Bread Pudding. Each was more scrumtrulescent than that which came before.

There was almost nobody in the joint on a Saturday night, and that sir, is a crime. Give this place your money. It will give you a round tummy in return. Like a happy Buddha.

Great location on the end of Mass Ave with great service, great food, great beer, and an awesome vibe. We highly recommend their BYO mac’n cheese! It’s so gooey and yummy. We love this place.

The perfect brunch after a long weekend. I ordered the budda bowl with avacado, and it was DELICIOUS. The menu has lots of unusual options which is a pleasant change from the usual brunch available elsewhere.

Excuse me but, "Who cut the cheese?!?" Because it's BRILLIANTLY YUMMY! A new favorite place for sure! It's small location on big Mass Ave doesn't hurt their wonderful ability to WOW you! Friendly staff and yes the owner cooks, cleans and brings you your food... I'll definitely recommend!

I initially didn't know what to expect. Once I caught a glimpse of the draft beer menu I knew I was in the right place! I got the Buddha bowl, added turkey and avocado 🥑. Delish!!

The pulled pork sandwich and the belly bites are amazing. The cast iron burguer is great as well!!

Great beer. Great food. Excellent service. I would say this is an underrated place here in Indy. It's towards the end of mass ave (or beginning I suppose, depending on which way you are coming from). Give it a try!

I'm from out of town and was on the way to the Garage to grab dinner, saw this place while looking for parking and decided to make a quick change to eat here. The food was awesome, but Jackie our server was Amazing... As someone who has been in the restaurant business for almost 20 years I'm usually not impressed with the service I receive, Jackie is one the best servers I've ever had in my life. She was personable and helped us pick out the best things on the menu and took great care of us. Next time I'm in Indy I will be coming here and telling others I know they should eat here. Ask for Jackie, get whatever she tells you to get and sit back and be wow'd!!! Dad Bod sandwich and Brisket Melt did not disappoint!!!

My husband took me to Rooster's Kitchen and it was delicious. He ordered the Big Shoulder salad and Turkey Noodle soup. He was very happy with his choice. He thought the soup and salad were very tasty, flavorful, and fresh ingredients. I ordered the option of a soup (tomato) and a half of a sandwich (grilled cheese). The tomato soup was a thicker texture due to the fact I believe they puree the tomatoes and root vegetables. But I loved it. The flavor was amazing! The sandwich was also very good, great flavors. A lot of their dishes are based off of pork but from what we had, I would recommend this place. The place has new owners since the beginning of September so I will be interested to see how they keep creating. The owners were an extremely nice couple who came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our food.

Great experience! Jackie was our server, and she did an amazing job recommending phenomenal choices and serving us! Food was solid and great drink selection. Bread pudding is a great hit too!

The Black Beer'd was excellent and I enjoyed the brisket melt. Crispy fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy as advertised. We sat outside for our meal and the quieter end of Mass Avenue did not disappoint. We enjoyed our meals without disrupting traffic and we were able to enjoy the warm but mild weather.

My wife and I have eaten here several times over the last couple of years. Each time has been a great experience. It's simple inside and seems to have an adequate number of tables for their business. We have always gone for lunch and never had to wait for a table. The service has always been good. The server is available but not hovering. The food has always been served in a reasonable amount of time. The food has always been hot and had great flavor. If we lived closer we would eat here more often.
