I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care my mother received during her six-week stay at your facility in October and November of 2023.

From the moment she arrived at the Post Acute Care wing, I was immediately impressed by the level of care and dedication demonstrated by your team, despite the challenges with staffing levels. The compassion, professionalism, and competence exhibited by all the personnel were truly remarkable. Even in the face of challenges, the care and concern for my mother's well-being were evident, making the entire experience more comforting for both her and our family.

Upon her transfer to ARCH care, the excellence in care continued. I want to extend my sincere appreciation to both the local and traveling medical staff who consistently went above and beyond to ensure my mother's comfort and well-being. Throughout her stay, I always felt well-informed about her condition and confident that she was receiving the best possible care.

One memorable instance that stands out is the genuine concern and interest shown by a physical therapist who approached me to inquire about my mother's well-being. It was clear that this wasn't just a professional courtesy; he truly cared about her progress. This level of personal attention was a consistent theme across the various disciplines employed at the facility.

I also want to express my gratitude to the Wellspring singers who brought moments of joy and comfort to my mother through their frequent bedside performances. The love and warmth I felt during those moments were truly exceptional and provided a sense of solace during what could have been a challenging time.

While I would love to list each individual's name and express my appreciation individually, I fear that I might inadvertently overlook someone deserving of recognition. Therefore, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at the Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Your collective efforts, care, concern, and unwavering support did not go unnoticed and were genuinely appreciated.

In times when exceptional healthcare is often overlooked, your team at Helen Porter Healthcare shines as a beacon of excellence. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of your residents and their families.

Great team of compassionate people caring for our family members. (Amanda, you rock!) Disappointed in the reviews I've seen, and if encountering issues, I'd gladly stand up for any of the fantastic traveling nurses.

I’m a travel nurse here and so far I really like it the facility is clean, patients are well cared for and staff is professional.

By far the most racist facility I have ever come across. You are faced with racism from the staff as well as the residents. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I signed my contract. I have 2 weeks left and I’ll never be back !

I worked there on assignment for 9 months. I stayed for that long because it was needed financially however I have never in my life witnessed so much racism. One thing I will say is they take good care of their patients but the travelers they treat horribly... I learned early on you have to fight like they do with the pen and paper. I have two phones full of incidents that occurred.

How are you going to have a nurse shortage and reached out to an agency to send you workers and then treat the workers u got poorly because of the color of their skin. This makes absolutely no sense!!! This is a health care facility and you can’t even treat workers good because of skin color, how are you going to treat the residents good!!!

This place isn’t friendly to those who are black that come there to assist in caring for them. I wouldn’t recommend anyone of color to accept a contract there.

Recruiters stop sending people of color to these places.

Racist facility!
Following staff to car with a threatening demeanor and calling them the N word! I feel sorry for the resident's there being cared for by people with hateful and evil hearts! Travelers come to help, not be treated like they're not humans!!

The nurses is so mean and hateful they have residents talking just like them...I have never in my life... sad disrespectful, racist.. no wonder they need help. Please run away..
