This will be my second knee replacement with Dr Lackey. I had my left knee replaced 2 years ago and now my right knee is needing replaced. I am very pleased with the treatment and professionalism I experience there. I got in very quickly and he got the job done! No messing around! I had my knee replaced and 4 Weeks Later was back to work. It was a little sore but I was able to work as a truck driver. No more pain no more burning searing pain! Thank you Dr Lackey!

Dr Lackey did a right total knee replacement for me on 5-2-24. I cannot say enough positive comments about him, his RN Lauren and his PA Tess. They are all very competent, friendly and skilled. They take the time to explain every step pre and post op; they are very caring and responsive to questions and concerns. I would highly recommend them.

I am so glad that I found Midwest Center for Joint Replacement! I live over 2 hours away and had my first knee replacement done locally. It was OK, but it felt like assembly line surgery. That is NOT the case at MCJR. It was well worth the trip for the wonderful personalized care and expertise! I have recommended them to anyone who needs the services that they offer

The office was very accommodating in scheduling me with Dr Lackey the same day. Dr Lackey examined my knee, which I injured during a fall and provided a treatment plan. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I so appreciate being seen on the same day as treatment for healing could be initiated

Dr. Lackey is a wonderful doctor. He made me feel comfortable and really listened to me and help make a plan of care. I would recommend him to anyone needing a joint replacement.

If there were 10 stars available I would give them all 10. I fell over the weekend and broke my kneecap on the knee that had been replaced. After my visit to the emergency room they recommended that I follow up with my ortho for treatment. Dr Lackey and his staff were quick to see me and to give me the proper care. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. Always professional, friendly and helpful. When I hear the horror stories from people who have gone to other practices I am really thankful for this practice.

Met with Dr. Lackey about my right knee and felt very comfortable with him from the minute I met him. Having surgery on the 7th of May and looking forward to being able to walk normal again.

February 13, 2024 I had a total hip joint replacement Surgery, Perform doctor Wesley, Lackey, his total team of nurses, anesthesiologist, anesthetist, Pharmacist, etc. absolutely phenomenal. I selected this doctor, because of his background, training in the faith he had in God. I hate saying this out loud that I was and am a Surgeons, nightmare! However , I was and am! I have serum sickness and an host of allergies. Narcotics, muscle relaxers, Anti-inflammatories and anything that’s laced with nuts or peaches conscious my body to have anaphylactic reactions, the kind that disfigure you need to Swoll For three or four days later, the kind that leave you fighting for your life. My body goes into a crippling state when trying to push these meds on my system and are life-threatening. To say I was scared was an understatement because I was told by 3 other surgeons that I might not come off the operating table alive, so needless to say, my husband and sons were scared and nervous with and for me. Having walked around painfully with a broken ilium for 18 years (longer story) and finding out I wore out the ball socket is what drought me to needing this surgery. Our family said a prayer and put it in God‘s hands. The day of the surgery The anesthesiologist came and spoke with us And went back-and-forth with the doctor and the pharmacist trying to find something compatible they could use to do preform the surgery. Thanks been gone something was found I had the surgery And it was successful on the constant team of doctors, nurses and other professionals that cared about me and my family, so I could get back to living my life for the first time without being in constant pain. God bless this incredible group of Doctors and their team .

At 2 weeks from my total knee replacement I am thoroughly impressed with how Dr. Lackey and MCJR has managed my care. They have it dialed in.

I found the staff to be delightful and the physician to be very nice and professional. I am not a surgery candidate but my condition was well explained and I was referred to physical therapy.

Best doctor around. Has the best manners. He cares about his patients. I recommend him to everyone.

I was able to keep my appointment even though I was 15 minutes late (traffic on interstate). I think the staff is great, always smiling, and very helpful. Dr. Lackey takes his time to explain and even showed an X-ray of a recent hip replacement so I would know what they were doing and how it looks afterwards. They were able to book my surgery for 9/27 or approximately 2 weeks out. I'm glad that I was referred here by another doctor that I see! :)

Dr. Lackey took the time to show me my MRI and explain to me what we were looking at. I left there having a much better understanding of my issue. He also offered some insight to another family issue. Very grateful for his compassionate care. The office staff is also above board. The nicest group of people.
