I got quotes to move from an apartment to a house from 8 different moving companies. I wanted to support small businesses in Indianapolis, so I narrowed it down to 2. Of all 8 options, Ballew Moving was one of the most affordable options. What ultimately sold me on Ballew was the website pictures of their well-organized trucks. It told me that the company takes care of your stuff and takes pride in being organized and professional.

Nilijah, Joe, and Brandon did an incredible job. They were organized, efficient, and careful. You could tell they take a lot of pride in their work. I would definitely use Ballew Moving again.

I included a picture of the organized truck. I figured it would take 2 trucks because of how much stuff we had, but after Nilijah and the team organized it, they somehow condensed a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and garage safely into about half a truck.

They were on time, focused, took care of my belongings, and the whole crew handling my move was polite and very personable. I am very glad I chose BM because they made the entire moving process so simple and straightforward, that going elsewhere would’ve been a mistake. Super friendly, very professional, affordable, and efficient with their moving process. Approachable, clean, and organized appearance. The crew was very strong and got things done quickly as a team unit with no issue at all. Very accommodating and flexible with our last-minute changes.

They were quick to respond and very affordable. Quotes we got from other companies were ridiculously high and there’s was extremely reasonable. They were very careful when moving the couch and loveseat from one home to another. They were diligent & efficient! It went so quickly! No damages! I was so surprised!

I would highly recommend Ballew to anyone looking for great movers! We had to change our move date many times due to issues with closing and they were always super accommodating. They were incredibly careful with our stuff and very efficient. They broke furniture down and built it all again in the new house. They were also very reasonably priced. I contacted tons of local movers and Ballew stood out immediately.

Nilijah and his team did an amazing job with helping me move! They showed up 10 minutes early to our appointment and got started right away.

All of them were very professional and got everything moved out of my second story apartment quickly, even completely disassembling my bed frame for no extra charge! They used a lot of padding and secured all items inside of their truck to make sure nothing was damaged.

After they were done, Nilijah made sure I was completely satisfied with their service, and I definitely was. On top of their amazing work, if you need to use them again they offer 15% off your next move!

THE BEST MOVERS IN INDIANAPOLIS!! These men did a wonderful job moving our items from a 3-bedroom on the ground floor to a 3-bedroom upstairs. They made sure our items were carefully packed, dissembled, reassembled, and loaded, and unloaded. I’ve never had a better moving experience then this - no scratches on any wall and we had a of heavy items! Don’t even worry about looking at the other movers in Indy. Just book your service today and you won’t regret it!!

Today my sister moved into her new home! Yesterday the movers packed her up and today they delivered those things to her new home. Let me tell you, this moving company was AMAZING! On a scale of 1-10 they are a 15! Professional, efficient, and careful to detail, this minority owned business was wonderful for us to work with. Great experience using Ballew and would definitely use again. The guys were timely helping us move into our townhouse and were even willing to help unload some stuff to a storage unit. Highly recommend.

Best moving experience I have ever had!! Nilijah was excellent to work with from the very first time we spoke and his crew was equally impressive - These guys are PROS! The 3-man crew was able to move us from one 4,000 square foot house into another in 10 total hours. I have no idea how they made it look so easy… No dings in the walls, no scratches on the floor, and every single item arrived in perfect shape. Nilijah and his crew were wonderful. We moved a four bedroom house with a lot of stuff, and they worked hard all day long and the next morning too. I reached out to Ballew based on recommendations from a colleague. This was my first time moving in 5 years, and it was the most seamless move I’ve ever experienced. The three gentlemen arrived early, were extremely professional, and quick. Would absolutely hire them again. Being able to support a local Black owned business was awesome too!

This is an EXTREMELY late review, but I wanted to go over how amazing Nilijah and his crew are. He and one other worker helped my partner and I move a 2b2b across Indy 4 months ago. They were quick, professional, and kind. We felt comfortable with them moving our things, and we appreciated their carefulness and efficiency. There were a few furniture pieces that needed one or two things removed to be moved—legs, a mirror, etc. The men took them off and put them back on for us without an extra charge.

The price was amazing—I’ve never hired movers before, so I was pretty worried. But this was a deal! Nilijah‘s service helped make my partner and I’s moving day SO much less stressful. We hired them for the three-hour minimum, but were done before 2.5 hours. Thanks to them both for being so kind and friendly! I would recommend them again and again. The reason I’m writing this review is because 4 months later, I’m still amazed by their service.

Working with Ballew Moving was an excellent experience and made our long distance move so much easier. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the crew- they finished loading and unloading quickly and did not make any damage to our belongings. They communicated regularly with us throughout the entire process including driving up to the final destination.
