Faith in Indiana

I would not recommend working or partnering with this organization. On a surface level, they look approachable and open to making connections. But behind the scenes, they do not possess equitable interview practices. I am not sure if things have changed since then, but a little over a year ago, I had two close friends apply for the “Muslim community organizer” position. They completed 8 rounds of interviews (yes, you read this right) and they were told to compete tasks in helping them connect with Muslim leaders in the community. After they secured these connections, they called each candidate and told them they weren’t qualified for the position and ended the call. These calls and the interview process were facilitated by Shoshanna. They wasted these candidates time and took adavantage of their vulnerability as marginalized individuals. Any organization that disregards the humanity of treating people with respect during the interview process, is not an organization you want to partner with.
