Extremely friendly, great little spot. Enjoyed the Pastrami sub and the Chicken Kebab. Tons of flavor, great bread.

Best sub sandwich!! The bread is amazing and the quality of ingredients is incredible for the price. The bodega itself is great! They have a nice assortment of herb and spices. Parking in front and off to the side!

Excellent sandwiches, neat international bodega, very friendly people. I cannot recommend them (or their pastrami sandwich) highly enough.

Price point vs. product blows a lot of sandwich shops out of the water! The sandwiches were nice and meaty and had LOTS of flavor. For being a hole in the wall deli, it was one of the best. Friendly and fast service, not to mention the “grocery store” items you can buy from the Middle East.

Not sure why I waited so long but man it was worth it. The beef Pastrami has an excellent flavor and well balanced. The bread they use is fantastic. I also had a beef kabob sandwich as well and it was top notch as well.

Excellent place for $5.99 foot long sandwiches. Not like the big chain Sub shop on every corner that only gives you 3 thin slices of pre-cut meats, that all taste the same... Lake Avenue Halal Market slices the meat fresh after you order it. There is no pork in a Halal market, so you can not get a ham & cheese, nor bacon on anything. But they have a nice selection of different turkey meats instead of just one. Look at my pictures! I ordered 4 foot longs on Sunday afternoon 10\25\2020. They were excellent sandwiches.
They have a bunch of spices that you can't find anywhere else. I get bulk cardamom, fenugreek, turmeric, and many others spices here in plastic to go bowls with lids at very reasonable prices. It worth a trip across town to go here.
They have a lot of candy and sodas for the local kids, but they also have Lebanese candy and drinks. Many brands that are not available anyplace else in this area.

They have a sign directly above the card reader saying all the prices on the items are for cash discount. If you rum a card, it's about 4% more expensive, which makes total sense for a small business card machine...

I, on the other hand, can read. This market has amazing products and their deli is OUTSTANDING.

Do yourself a favor and go get the pastrami. Any of it is fantastic!!

My favorite sandwich shop.The couple of times I've come in for a beef kabob the guys are always so friendly.Other customers have even suggested things to try like the non alcoholic flavored beer which is really good!

Clean and tidy on the inside. The BEST footlong subs, for a great price!!!! These subs blow Subway and other chain sandwich shops out of the water! I Will definitely be returning when I am in the area. Give it a try!!!

Awesome guys and very funny and their sandwiches are incredible. Just found out about them recently and am so glad I now have a great local spot to get some wonderful sandwiches.

Quick and fast! If you want a halal sub then they have lots of choices. Small shop but it has majority of daily cooking necessities and snacks.

Such a great experience, customer service is awesome! Subs are AMAZING, I love to get a beef pastrami with a beef kabob, lettuce, salt/pepper and mayo/mustard, it's soooo freaking amazing! We get snacks and drinks every visit as well, just a great place

This place was awesome. Got a 12 inch corned beef sub for less than $9. Guys were friendly and sandwich was quick. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure

Lake market avenue has the best sandwiches in Fort Wayne there customer service are really nice and amazing 👍 they have fresh meat too

Best part of moving to this block is the market! Amazing grinders. Lots of things get called "new york style" in the fort, and this is the first place where that fits! There are great Middle Eastern staples in the grocery, too, and a big selection of Asian drinks. I'm in love with puck spread and those caramel cookies now 😁 The owners and family are hilarious and kind, and all the folks that are around regularly are nice.

(Remember to check prayer times for the day if you're in a rush, as they do understandably close for 10m to pray next door on that schedule)

Excellent food and friendly environment. Definitely worth stopping by and getting food to go. Made fresh and right in front of you .
