Brenda's Cakes

My first time at this bakery was last month for a coworker's bday party. This $45 8" strawberry cake with butter cream frosting tasted great and it was decorated perfectly. I'll definitely give this place another visit.

I love this place. I always buy my sons birthday cakes from them and am always super satisfied. I always bring them in a picture of what I want and they follow it to a tee. A little pricey depending what type and style you get but totally worth it.

UPDATE: 2023. I am still ordering cakes from here. I am still one of their biggest fans! I had a baby last year and had his 1st birthday cake done by them. Just as satisfied as always!

Brenda’s Cakes was recommended to me by a friend of my daughter, and if I could give 10 stars I would! I had an idea of what I wanted for my daughter-in-law’s shower, and she brought it to life! I needed them sooner than I’d planned, and they really came through for me! Everyone said it was the best cake they’d ever had! The cookies were the perfect take-home favor, and friends have called and texted how delicious they were! I highly recommend Brenda’s Cakes!

One of the best cakes I have had the pleasure of eating. Not only was the cake moist and tender and just perfect, Brenda went above and beyond to accommodate me. I cannot recommend her enough!!! Oh, and the sugar cream frosting... Divine

Since moving to Indianapolis from New York we have tried many different bakeries and once we tasted our first birthday cake from Brenda's Cakes we were sold! Now Brenda's Cakes is the only place we will order a birthday cake from! The cakes are always delicious and consistent in flavor! Our most recent order was a Stranger Things cake for our son's birthday and Brenda did an amazing job as always!

They did an amazing job on my son's birthday cake with such short notice. They were friendly and communicative. They matched the picture I sent perfect! I will without a doubt be coming back. On my pictures, I did add my own mini figures and my own Happy birthda sign.

I have been buying cakes from here since I moved here so about 4 years. They are amazing !!! This was my sons cake from last year can’t wait to see how they kill it this year. He’s a boo baby

I’m a huge procrastinator... and called in Friday needing a cake for Saturday 🙈 They said “We can help!” Life savers!!! Thank you... not only was the cake a good size; but they bake with love. ♥♥ I had the cheesecake icing with strawberries in the middle with cheesecake filling. #Yummy Customer service was superb. We will continue ordering here because of this awesome experience!

Update 2021 - They continue to ROCK!

I had my quinceañera cake made my Brenda's. I loved it! We scheduled a cake testing before ordering it. My cake was beautiful! I didn't have to stress about picking it up! they delivered to the venue. It had a waterfall and was pretty big! They had a couple different cakes with different flavors.

Brenda's did our wedding cake and it was beautiful! The flavors of each tier were amazing! We did white cake/lemon curd, chocolate cake/seedless raspberry, marble/Bavarian cream. I'm not a chocolate cake fan but that seedless raspberry made it to die for! I can't wait for our anniversary to eat the top tier....even at a year old I'm sure it'll still be good. The process was easy & Brenda was helpful throughout the whole thing. I gave her my vision, emailed a few pictures, and dropped off some silk flowers and she took it from there. Delivery was on time and set up without any issues as well. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a try and I'll definitely be back for future celebrations.

Gorgeous, yummy cakes. They helped me plan what I wanted and everything was executed perfectly. Highly recommend them! I was very impressed with the quality of their work.

Brenda's cakes made the cake for my gender reveal party tonight. Everyone loved the cake, it was delicious!!! Pricing is very fair. It was also very easy to get the gender information to her so that it could be a secret for everyone.

I rarely leave reviews unless something is absolutely above and beyond. I will ALWAYS remember this birthday cake. We drove an hour for this cake and it was more than worth it. She did a character cake for my son’s 3rd birthday. It got SO many compliments. It looked like something you would see on a TV cake competition. Plus....it tasted amazing. So, I’m not sure what else you can say about cake other than looks and tastes amazing. Oh....she was amazingly nice and accommodating. So, why in the world would you go anywhere else? You shouldn’t. Don’t be crazy and waste time searching the web any longer, she’s the best...order now!

I was recently married and we had our cake made at Brenda's Cakes.

We Just needed a small cake to cut for pictures and they were very easy to work with. We went in literally about a month before our wedding date and they had no problem getting our order scheduled. They were very polite and kind.

The Cake was absolutely delicious! We decided on two separate flavors for each of the two tiers we had. The Fresh Strawberry filling & Lemon. They were absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend them.

The parking is very limited at this location so keep that in mind.

The customer service was great! I expected the cake to taste good because I have ordered a cake before in the past, but this time it was so much more. It's crazy how good the cake and icing were. And the design was EXACTLY and I mean EXACTLY what I requested! I was quite shocked. Everyone loved it! Thank you😁

I'm hard to impress and do not write reviews yet here I am very impressed and sharing my experience via a review! I had a last minute idea for a carrot cake for a birthday. They were able to make this cake on extremely short notice and the flavor was exceptional.
The decoration was perfect! I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

Brenda's cakes helped prepare my wedding cake and cupcakes for my special day. The cake tasted great and the cupcakes flew off the table so fast they were so good.
