Shawn, and the entire eBoom staff here in Whitestown were amazing!!! My wife & I had been searching around the Midwest for the New Aventon Aventure.2 with Fat Tires; both the Camouflage Step Over & Cobalt Blue Step Through models, and eBoom happened to be one of the only stores in the Indianapolis area that could get their hands on them!

My wife is about 5 ft tall, and I am 5 ft 7 myself and we both ordered the Regular Models; which were perfect fits!

We came in on a Saturday, and the bikes came in about 8 days!!!

Shawn gave me the call, the bikes were assembled, and on the back of my uncle’s pick up that same evening!

They cost us a little over $4K, but we’re absolutely worth it! They have a 60 mile range, take about 5-6 hours to full charge from dead. They can also reach 28 MPH if unlocked to Level 3 using the Aventon App! They also come with an LED Display Screen, Front Light, Back Tail Light, Turn Signals, and Towing Rack, and Fenders to avoid Splashing! Last but certainly not least, The Aventure.2 model is equipped with a Torque System that accommodates the rider and increases the speed of whatever the rider is doing! It comes with 4 different Riding Modes: Eco, Touring, Sport, and Turbo! You can also adjust the front suspension for a more solid or smooth ride!

Beyond happy with our purchase!

Great Job Guys!

My wife and I visited E Boom this afternoon to learn more about e bikes and test ride a couple of different models. Shawn was really helpful and took us out for a guided ride. We did not buy today but when we do we will definitely talk with E Boom first.

My wife and I purchased 2 Gazelle e-bikes from the a couple months ago. Prices seem to be fixed between shops so it makes sense to buy based on support, not price. We couldn't be happier. They allowed long test rides, were knowledgeable, and very friendly. We just brought our bikes back for their free tune-up and it's clear that they really want to make everything right. They fixed a minor issue with one of the bikes and thoroughly went through both of them, including software updates. Everyone in the shop is great to work with.

We thought we would be dropping my bike off to get the handlebar raised and tightened, but were pleasantly surprised to have the technician (I think his name was Brennan) complete the “repair” right then and in about 10 minutes. Couldn’t have been any nicer and explained everything he was doing. Thank you! I will recommend your shop to everyone I know!

We recently bought two e-bikes from eBoom and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We had a fun and helpful pre-purchase ride with Peggy. Then, after the purchase, we enjoyed hanging out with Sean and Brandon as they made sure our bikes were ready to go, even staying late to do so. We highly recommend eBoom for your next bike purchase.

I called the day before visiting to ensure they had the bike I was looking at. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The next day I arrived and the bike was assembled and ready for a test ride.

Everyone was so helpful with answering questions and showing how things work on a new ebike. I left with a bike and a new place to have my other bikes serviced and upgraded. What a lovely little shop and place to stop by.

6 month update, I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this wonderful company!

Shoutout to EBoom Electric Bicycles in Whitestown Indiana. Not only are they the place that I purchased my Aventon Aventure fat tire bike from but recently got it back from its free 1st year tuneup.

They quickly got it in for service, noted a couple issues that needed addresses with the front rim and fork. They informed me a few days later that Aventon would be covering all parts and labor for a new rim, tire, tube and complete front fork. I felt that both Aventon and EBoom went above and beyond. Not only did my bike get cleaned (it was muddy) that wasn’t expected but it got looked over, adjusted and tested.

If anyone is looking for an E-Bike I highly recommend checking EBoom out. They offer test rides on most if not all of the bikes they stock but take the time to get you into the bike that fits your needs. I’ve got about 1500 miles on mine now in 6 months and plan to ride about 4-5 thousand more next year. I ride to work 10 miles round trip as long as weather is above freezing and no downpours are expected. I’ve already noticed a great reduction on my car insurance due to lower travel days/miles but also a huge savings in gas. In time the bike will pay for itself but the fun of riding for pleasure with my wonderful partner Cordelia has been enough to justify the bike.

Thanks again EBoom and Aventon for great customer service!

July 9th 2019

Ever since I met Adam whom works for eBoom, I kept thinking about my handcycle that I build over Spring and Summer of 2018.

I looked into how it could be upgraded. I see a lot of talk online by a mechanical engineer, and others whom are really into electric bikes.

Hmmowever, the energy and passion Adam has and as I found out the amazing owner of Eboom is also very into this sport, hobby, activity, and that is the same spark and drive that made me build a recording studio, a storage shed for my handcycle, and my handcycle.

So I posted to my Facebook page a project. NOTICE this is not about getting anything for free here. It is all about a fair honest arrangement up front that allows me to pay for my project OVER TIME. Not on credit.

I will be adding some photos maybe a video of my handcycle in action.

The goal is to buy:
2x 26inch front wheels with 1500 to 2000 watt motors. If possible 3000 will be good also. Each 48v gearless motors.

I may opt for a mid-drive if it can get me to 45MPH. I will explain later.

2x 52v batteries. They hopefully can be connected in a way to increase AH and overall run time. I believe series connection might do that. Each at 20 AH before connection.

If that won't work then one battery per motor.

LCD 5 or more speed controller. The proper power management set up.

The right hand brake lever has to have 2 cable control or to be able to wire the 2 front brakes into one lever.

Left hand thumb throttle. Twister design would not service long.

The dimensions of my handcycle:
Just over 9ft long.
51 inches wide at the front.

3x 26inch standard mountain bike wheels.

11 speed cassette on rear, 3 chain rings at the hand crank manual shift.

At times I need to ride on the street/roadway. And, the in town speed is 25 MPH.

Around other non freeway roads speeds are 35 MPH and 45 MPH

Since my front is so much wider than a typical handcycle or recumbent bike, I feel it only nice of me to be able to keep up with in and around town traffic while on the streets.

Plus we have some amazing hills I have taken manually and what workout. Imagine bench pressing your body weight, plus the bikes, plus the 25 pound speaker, and my 20 lbs of wheelchair then take the hill and its degree of incline...

I doubt any personal or physical trainer can keep up with me. I am 49 years old.

Here are some nice yet important things also needed:

In effect motorcycle turn signals on my front I need it to be able to show front or ahead of me, and behind. Put that 51 inch span to work letting people know when I turn, or stop.

On the back a signal that makes it easy to see right down the middle.

These lights need to be easy to see even in bright daylight. Like a car or motorcycle.

Yes, I am willing to run these on separate battery. That makes sure they are available even if I run down the motor batteries.

A neighbor after telling him these things today said you need rear view mirrors. And, a very loud horn.

I am willing to agree to pay for the entire project. That includes labor as well. I ask that I be able to pay for it all over time.

I am willing to also have a little fun. Fly the shop banner or flags. Paint my bike the shop colors. Meet with and talk to suppliers/vendors, and more to help them understand a New Market that of people with disabilities.

My goal is to be an ambassador of eBoom and showcase their amazing workmanship. It will be a work of art if this can happen.

I will enter in eBike events, and bring my trademark music.

Interviews, news spots and more.

The owner of eBoom has NOT PROMISED anything. But, she is looking into taking on my project.

The handcycle has been such a huge success, and people already love it as is. Now, people will be asking where do I get an eBike.

Happy to tell them, no other than eBoom Electric Bicycles and I will see if I can help promote the store in any way I can.

I see this as friends helping friends. Not taking advantage of each other.

Highly Recommend This Store!

Dedicated to customer service, good follow through and quality workmanship. Very patient, understanding and hospitable to finding the right bike for you. Not pushy or try to upsell you on something you may not want. Great place to do business and get service.

Bought an Aventon Pace 500 next generation in May. I love the bike but it doesn’t come with a suspension fork. They suggested a Rock Shox air suspension fork and installed it today and wow what a difference! You will never find a better bike shop anywhere.

I recently purchased a Pace 500.3 bicycle from eBoom bikes in Zionsville. I couldn't be more pleased with the helpful associates. I'd note that even the owner personally became involved when a part I wanted had back ordered, expediting the part order as fast as was possible.

My Aventon bike is a pleasure to ride. I've long been a bicycling enthusiast, but have lost some of my conditioning as the years have gone by. The "e" in bike, however, doesn't mean you don't get a good workout. It means that you get the workout that you want. So you can commute to work, for example, and even on an 80+ degree day arrive without beads of sweet streaming down your face. But possibly on the ride home you want to work a little harder, it's up to you.

I would recommend that you go to eBoom bikes if you are searching for an eBike. At least give them a good comparison with other models. eBoom and Aventon was not the first bike I considered, but the one I landed on.

Great bike store right in our own backyard. Had a really good service experience with eBoom as they fixed both of my son's bikes quickly, effectively and for a really fair price.

They have a great selection of bikes there, and awesome folks in the front and back. Well done gang.

I had an excellent experience buying here. My husband wanted to get me a new ebike for my birthday. He had seen the bike here and wanted to bring me back to see it. We were coming from Westfield and made it just before the shop was closing. The people working were very kind and helpful and did not rush us. I really wanted to make my purchase so I didn't have to make the return drive on another day. The owner answered all of our questions and even let me take the bike out for a quick test run in light rain that turned to a bit heavier rain. The bike is exactly what I had been looking for and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have had it out 4 times this week on the Monon Trail between Sheridan and Carmel and it has performed fantastically. My son and husband are big into bike riding and for the past few years I have been getting left in the dust because I can't go as far as they can. This spring I will be able to go for those longer rides! I am grateful to the owner and employee who were so kind and patient and served us happily at closing time on a Saturday at 5:00 pm.

Even though I purchased my Aventon Aventure 8-speed Fat Tire e-bike directly from the company's Web site, owner Lee Ann at eBoom Electric Bikes happily agreed to assemble the bike for me. She has a good selection of e-bikes and accessories on hand, and you only have to chat with her for a few minutes to realize that she really knows her stuff.

She has a full mechanic's repair shop onsite that is capable of working on any bike you can imagine, and her assistant Eric quickly unpacked the bike from its shipping container and had the bike plus front and rear racks fully assembled in less than an hour. I paid their standard fee for assembly.

To his credit, Eric took the bike out on the bike trail adjacent to the shop and put it through its paces to make sure everything worked properly: headlight, taillight, throttle, hydraulic brakes, shock absorbers, battery, etc. -- and made adjustments to his satisfaction. He told me that it is not unusual for him to assemble 2-3 bikes per day!

And when Eric had completed his work on my bike, Lee Ann brought out her own e-bike and we went for a ride so that she could explain my bike's features and how the bike works. I consider that above and beyond the call of duty, especially considering that I didn't buy the bike at her shop.

Lee Ann and Eric are friendly and personable, obviously knowledgeable when it comes to e-bikes, and well-equipped to handle your needs in both sales and service. I am extremely pleased; this was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience for me, and so I am happy to highly recommend eBoom Electric Bikes in Whitestown, Indiana, without any reservation whatsoever.

LeeAnn and Shawn were very knowledgeable and friendly. I got to test ride 2 models which were in my price range and LeeAnn endured my safety, ecplaining all the dafety features as well as operation of throttle and shifting. I hope to decide and buy one within the next week or so. I highly recommend eBoom Bikes.

The staff was very helpful and took all the time needed to help us make a decision on the best bike for us. No pressure but spent the time to go on a real test ride on different bikes. Riding for my wife has not been possible for ten years due to a medical condition. She is now riding 30 to 40 miles at 14 to 16 mph with our group. The whole staff is pleasant and eager to respond to our needs and answer our questions as we continue to learn about our new bike.

Drove from Fort Wayne Indiana to eBoom to test drive a Aventon Aventure and loved it and the personalized assistance. Super cool vibe located in an old bank. Pulled the trigger and took it home. I highly recommend!
