Twigs & Tea

A beautifully laid afternoon high tea. Scones, tea sandwiches, macaroons, ….. everything was nice for a celebration of an academic milestone. Highly recommend this place for their attention to detail & high quality food & presentation.

This is place is perfect for lunch with friends. The food is good, The place has a unique vibe. You must book far in advance otherwise you might not get a table. The service is attentive, but I sometimes get a haughty vibe from some of the staff particularly on the phone.

How can you rate a tea shop with this much charisma anything less? Dining area, if you will, was packed. Not sure if there was a lady's group meeting or this was just the favorite locale of the area. Several rooms filled with above average quality gifts, jewelry, clothing and household decorations. We were looking for actual tea pots, tea cups and tea urns, but the inventory was slim to none. Proprietor was very welcoming. And for the record, their non-gender bathrooms are clean and comfortable; wish I'd brought one of my car magazines.

Twigs & Tea is open for customers in a bright and inviting new location. The salads, soups, teas and quiche are as delectable as always, and the service is incomparable. Additionally, Twigs offers two floors of lovely clothing, jewelry and home decor.

This was my first time at Twigs and it is a wonderful tearoom. It is so cute! Nice retail store too. The food, menu and service was great. I absolutely recommend it.

Beautiful place. The staff is great! We had the egg salad and the croque monsieur. The food was absolutely delicious!!! The Champagne vinaigrette on the salad was the best I've ever had. Great place, great atmosphere and definitely a place I'd go again.

I enjoyed lunch there with friends. Food and tea were delightful. We had difficulty hearing each other across our table. Acoustics or our own hearing....don't know!😄

The Croque Monsieur that I had for lunch on Thursday was perfection. I got so many compliments on the top that I bought. I can't wait to stop in again to wrap up my Christmas shopping. Thanks for everything Debbie!

Excellent Gluten Free food. The service is kind, friendly and thoughtful. The gift shop is full of lovely merchandise.

Love this place! The afternoon tea experience is incredible. Each tier is superbly balanced - base is sandwiches and mini savory bites, middle is scones with clotted cream, and the top is an assortment of petite desserts. Each person also gets a half pot of their preferred tea blend, which I heartily recommend the Paris. While it is not cheap ($32 per person), it is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon enjoying delicious treats and conversation.

Tea was great, but the food was delicious beyond expectations! It's cozy, but a little crowded, all in 1 room, which can be a bit noisy. Personally, I'd love to see the gift shop reduced to allow seating in the front room. Our waitress was very friendly & capable.

The food is made from scratch. Lovely table settings. Many tea choices. Lovely chicken velvet soup, cracked red pepper soup. The Spinach quiche is my favorite. Loved the sweet potato scone. Though my husband and I visited for our anniversary, most often ladies attend. The mister reports great food.
We will go back. Open 11- 3 Tues- Saturday. Twigs and Tea reports they may open on Sundays for special group reservations. Suggest reservations as most of the tables were reserved when we arrived at 11 am.

My husband and I were on a date and it was rainy outside but we had to kill some time before our movie started, so we stumbled on Twigs & Tea and thought we would give it a try. It was wonderful, perfect for a date or a brunch to catch up with a friend, the tea was wonderful, the egg salad sandwich was great, and our server was phenomenal. The only downsides were that the tea room was a little cramped and that the decorations were clearly targeting delicate old ladies. Everything was pink and floral, not normally my scene, but overall it was worth it.

Food is delicious, loved the egg salad and chicken salad!! The Paris iced tea is to die for! Wait staff is top notch and very friendly! Will definitely be back!!

Delightful dining experience.....so much so that I've been there with different friends three times in the last three weeks! You have to try their egg salad and chicken salad over dressed greens with an amazing light vinaigrette dressing accompanied with a scone and clotted cream....to die for! And, if you can possibly find room for dessert, have the bread pudding with a delicate raspberry sauce lightly kissing the delicious bread pudding. Again, too unbelievably delicious to describe. The selection of teas is without a doubt the best in the Indianapolis and the scones are so light that the clotted cream makes them an irresistible temptation you can't resist. You'll need to call for reservations since the seating is so limited, but rest assured, it will be a treat you won't want to deny yourself and friends!
