Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Dawn R Hines

I am currently a Ball State University student studying Finance. I went to speak with Dawn about what it is like to be a Financial Advisor. She was extremely helpful, real, honest and kind. Through our conversation I could see very clearly how much she truly cares about her clients and how much she enjoys working for Edward Jones as a company. Dawn is not only a great Financial Advisor but a great person as well!

I was hesitant to talk to an advisor at all until we met and spoke with Dawn. Many people don't realize this but it's a free service and Dawn was super willing to help. Melissa, her office manager, is great about communicating and ensuring that we do what we need to. We've been with Dawn for almost 2 years now and I have yet to have a single negative experience. She can't control the market, but she sure makes sure that we know what it's doing when it is going to affect us.

Don't hesitate to call Dawn if you are even thinking about an advisor. She has helped us with everything from Mutual funds, Roth IRAs, our 401k and now our baby's 529 plan. She does it all!

Dawn Hines made a critical error in judgement about my investments. When questioned I was told she could not talk to me. No reply from Dawn or anyone from Edward Jones until after I moved my money to another company “months”later! Edward Jones pushes mutual funds because that is how they make the most money at the client’s cost! As if read from a cue card Dawn always replies to questions by saying, “I have your money invested in exactly the same way my parents and grandparents money is invested!” Followed by, “I sleep well!” I asked Dawn several times to explain how Edward Jones charges. No viable answer given. Do your homework before investing with Edward Jones.
