Bringhurst Woods Park

The paved path is great, very scenic and the creek nearby is just so beautiful. It is very easy to cross the creek and you can walk on a dirt path along the creek. So many different plants and wildlife. I just love it here

Was a nice area to visit for a walk. The trail leads to two other parks on each side. Some nice off-path adventuring spots.

If you're looking for peace in the midst of it all right off of a major highway I recommend this place hiking trail stream of water place just to relax catch your thoughts and get ready for the madness she may face.

Update October 2, 2023: Parking lot has been barricaded off for at least a month now, so do not waste your time coming here unless you're already passing by. You will not be able to park anywhere.

Update April 12, 2022: Parking lot is once again open!

March 21, 2022: Currently gated off so you cannot park or enjoy the trails. Never seen it closed off before & I've been parking here & hiking through the connecting trails & parks for years.

Love this path. Serene with the water flowing and got a bit lost and but other than that, good place for nature lovers.

We love Bringhurst, this place has been a gem since I was a young kid, now Ive got my own family the fact I can bring my kids here to enjoy this little slice of Heaven the exact same way we did as children!

Miles of great running and hiking trails with a stream serenely meandering through it all. Bridges over most of the stream crossings. Some very well executed GeoCaches in the woods too. Saw several groups of runners out getting their cardio on. Thaw woods are popular.

We parked less than 100yards from water (perfect for English bulldog during hot months). On the way was a cabin which had benches and a fire place inside, which was so cool! The area was clean, and well maintained which provided easy navigation as the trails were clear and easy to identify. Definitely recommend for a quick escape!!

Great little park spot with easy Greenway trail access. Creek access and rock throwing is a huge hit with the boys of all ages!

Great little park with a variety of trails and a creek running through it. Unfortunately, the parking lot accessible from Carr Rd has been closed for some time.

Fabulous place to be quiet, walk pups, and take in Delaware flora.

Love it! Good place to be/walk/drink water/take photos of squirrels and/or sneakers

Four cool Geocaches in here. Paved trail goes through the park with some earth trails through the woods too.

There is a lovely bike path running through here. Goes all the way to Claymont and all the way to Wilmington Zoo

Nice litte park I will be bringing my Camera next time for some nature photography
