My daughter was 6 when she attended a 1 week camp. At the time she was SUPER resistant to riding a bike…refusal to even get ON the bike. Very negative attitude about it and I thought she would never learn. My husband and I are both teachers and we tried everything in the books to try to get her to ride…but she a very cautious personality.

After a 1 week camp, her attitude had a major positive shift. Everyone else in the group was able to ride successfully…but she still wasn’t there yet. However, she was able to glide successfully up and down the ramp by the end. We ended up paying for two 1-hour private lessons with the same instructor and FINALLY she did it!! 2 years later and she loves riding around Lake Atalanta.

Hands down the best kids biking programs around. They will have our full support! The classes and camps are super age appropriate and skills based while making it the most fun they possibly can! Every coach goes above and beyond to make sure kids are supported and encouraged in their bike journey!

The staff are well trained coaches who easily communicate with children as they safely guide them through their journey to mastering the basics of bike riding. My family was traveling up from Little Rock and were going to miss our original appointment. This crew is the best! They’ve helped us have size and skill appropriate bikes for kiddos for years. Also, our youngest just attended an BP adventure camp and has had an absolute blast. I wish I could give them 10 stars! 🚲

I have wanted a Tern cargo bike for a really long time, but what has held me back is that I like exercise, and until now, the options I have seen are all electric with Bosch systems. I enjoy pushing myself hard for long rides, and love absorbing the outdoors while I share cycling with friends, family (especially my kids), and sometimes even strangers. When I first saw the non-electric Tern Short Haul on The Shop Girl's YouTube channel, I instantly became obsessed. After using the Tern dealer locator, I quickly found Buddy Pegs and within minutes I became a Tern owner! As I learn more about the Buddy Pegs mission and their positive influence on our extraordinarily wonderful cycling community. I will happily ride from Fayetteville for tuneups, and I'll be doing it in style with the people I love most. Thank you Jannine and your wonderful team for making my Tern dream come true! Our first time into Buddy Pegs our plan was to scope it out and see what size bike our growing toddler needs. Emily made it her personal mission to give us all the information we needed to make an informed decision based on how tall our daughter is, how fast she is growing and her growing skills. She didn’t try to sell us a thing the whole time. We happened to walk in about 20 minutes before a free “learn to pedal” class and even though our daughter was the youngest person in the class Barb and Neya made her feel so comfortable. We walked out an hour later with a super confident 3 year old and a new bike she can grow into and put pedals on soon. We cannot say enough great things about Buddy Pegs!

We signed our granddaughter for the Learn to Peddle camp. It was absolutely the right way to go to enable her to learn to ride. By the end of the week, she was riding the bike (wobbly) on her own.
The teachers and staff at Buddy Pegs are awesome. You can tell they really love working with the kids, and want to work with them to capture the magical moment when you first learn to ride.
Coach Lori did a wonderful job with the kids and helping them gain confidence on their bikes.
If you have kids you know that they typically will listen to instruction better from someone who is not their parent. As my granddaughter said "These people are ruffressionals"

This is the only bike club that specializes in kids' cycling in the 4 State Area. My son has gross motor skill delays & we've struggled to teach him how to ride a bike. After their Learn to Pedal camp, he was riding independently! He was still a little shaky here and there, but now it's just a matter of him practicing rather than having to learn from scratch. He had a great time and they were awesome with him. We drove 45 minutes from Joplin to attend their camp and we have no regrets.

Another exceptional experience at Buddy Pegs! A shout out to Kyle for his great customer service! My twins (Katie and Mason) had so much fun picking out their first big kid bikes with gears! They are super excited to hit the trails. I highly recommend Buddy Pegs for all your family biking needs!

My 2.5 year old daughter went from strider bike to pedaling on her own in 3 lessons. Amazing instruction, welcoming atmosphere, enjoyable community for kids (and adults). Recommended 110%.

Our son started with a lot of fear riding his bike on the street. After just 2 days he. Any get enough of riding! After 2 weeks he’s riding on trails around Bentonville. Staff is amazing and coaches are phenomenal!

We LOVE Buddy Pegs! They are wonderful with kids! My son went from not wanting to ride his bike to riding trails with confidence! We have done their classes and summer camps and races. They are awesome and very well organized! Highly recommend! Very family friendly!

Buddy Pegs is awesome. They taught my 5 year old son to ride his bike in a few short session and made it super fun for him. He continues to love it and really enjoys the longer 90 min and 3 hour bike camps.

Incredible bike camp! My kiddo loves biking now and is so confident, going on ramps and down hills. So thankful for this great program and all the amazing coaches.

I had three apprehensive pre-riders on Monday morning of Buddy Pegs camp. By Friday afternoon these three different ages, abilities, and personalities were begging to shred the trails. I am absolutely thrilled that my children were able to experience the instruction at Buddy Pegs. Very, very grateful for incredible community partners like Buddy Pegs who are supporting kids with social/emotional and physical skills for life.

We went with our 4 year old and 6 year old. They have been on nice bikes (Trail Craft and Woom 2) but our youngest was ready to go up to a 16 inch and our oldest needed better pedals and a better helmet. They had everything we were looking for (full faced kids helmet and kids sized real pedals). Our youngest got to try out his bike before we bought it (which we had never been able to do since we got them online in the past) and our daughter tried a full suspension bike on their inside track. Everyone was so great to our kids and very knowledgeable. They had a good range of gear from mid-range to really nice stuff. Our kids are really into mountain biking and it was the first shop we found real kid’s sized gear. Next time we come to Bentonville we will go to Buddy Pegs again for sure. Hopefully we will put our kids into one of their camps next summer so they can have an awesome time and we can go rip.
