Academy is definitely the greatest sporting goods store in the United States, this place has everything you need. Thoroughly enjoy browsing through the fishing department, picking up some new items from the BBQ section, especially the Meat Church and Heath Riles Runs and checking out the men's selection of wearable gear, BCG brands are the best, very stylish and affordable. The staff at all the locations are always welcoming and super friendly

We were greeted at the door. The cool Freedom Shirts were $4.99 today! We asked for slingback backpacks and the greeter knew exactly where they were. Very helpful! Jeremiah saw us coming into the checkout line and invited over with no-wait time. He was friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back soon!!

I was nervous about purchasing a handgun and the guys at Academy went far above what I expected in customer service! The store was very organized and clean! The cashier also had a wonderful attitude about me leaving my healthcare card in the car. Everyone was kind and genuine about the information they proved. I definitely recommend this place!! One best places to shop for workout equipment

Bought a crawfish boiler and they happily brought it out to the car for us. Check out line was long but moved quickly! Store was very clean!

Went to buy a handgun and was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable and honest the young man in the department was. I explained what I was looking for and my concerns. I can’t remember the guy’s name but I mentioned him to his manager. Yes, some may say they charge too much but the sheer variety of things available compensated for this in my book.

I got my Son some great Fathers Day gifts and got myself a cute YETI cup too. I got some 25 pound weights and a couple nice outdoor chairs. They had everything I was looking for in one place. I will definitely be going back. Good prices.

Clean, organized and friendly. Your go to headquarters for anything outdoors at fair prices! I enjoy loafing around and spending time looking at everything from the fitness section, to shoes, apparel and the hunting and fishing items. They also have a good selection of grilling, smoking and cooking supplies and spices towards the back. The checkout line is usually long, but they are extremely efficient when it comes to checking people out.

We saved a few bucks, which is always great but the checkout line was almost to the back of the store, and we still got through the line relatively quickly. So kudos to the cashiers!

Great quality and variety of shoes available. Sales workers don't pressure you for sales but they are available when you need them. So far I haven't had any bad or rude service.

Great store for all your clothing hunting fishing and workout needs

Purchased some new Nike off road and Brooks on road shoes for running. Not too bad on price just before Christmas. Usually always have what you need for your one stop shop.

Excellent customer service. Store Director Michael Glass went above and beyond taking care of a minor issue. This is the most outstanding customer service I've ever seen. I will always be a loyal customer to this store after this experience.

I loved the atmosphere here!! The employees were very helpful and even though they don't assemble the bicycles, they still inflated the tires and checked it out to make sure there wasn't any problems! The sell guns, ammo, barbecues and all types of workout items including workout clothes! The bicycle was cheaper than Walmart too!!! $129 with tax included compared to $248 plus tax. Real awesome place to shop at!!!
