Brunch was amazing. I had “The Heart Attack” sandwich. It was made well and obviously looked tasty too! No complaints at all. Our server was great as well! 100% recommend.

Excellent dinner. Good atmosphere. Helpful fast sweet wait service. Parking is tricky. Happy hr drinks are a good buy. Clean, cool temperature restaurant.

Awesome staff at Skinny J's. Great Service! Food is tasty and hot! Had an old fashioned cheese burger and home fries with a twist! Very good 😊👍

Service from the bar, top notch! This sandwich, the cash club. I am a frequent club member, but this was over the top and it was amazing. The jalapeno bread, really could taste it. The over easy egg, dang good edition. Don't sleep on the green beans covered in garlic and seasoning (perhaps old bay). Great place, highly recommend.

My husband and I loved the steak his was more done than he wanted but very juicy and seasoned well. Mine was cooked perfectly med. To med well and juicy and seasoned well too. Our waitress was Darby she was prompt and friendly dint have to ask for anything and she kept up well with with not only us but other tables as well.and they played music I actually liked to.😁😁😎the John Wayne steak and mi e was the 16oz house ribeye and fried pickles and Monterey pepper jack bites

Updated July 2022: Very friendly service, but a little slow. Food was pretty good still-- the pimento cheese chicken was a little bit oily, and the queso was cold in spots, but the shrimp and broccoli were excellent! The server and the kitchen staff were accommodating to my dietary requests (little to no butter / oil on my plate, please!) They were kind and helpful! (Oh, but the bathroom floor was so sticky that I almost lost a flip flop! Someone mop it with some vinegar or something!)

The food was absolutely delicious! It was hard to decide on what to order because everything sounded amazing. My son had the chicken with the pimento cheese.... He still talks about it and says it's the best meal he's ever had (except for my cooking of course!) There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different and none of us were disappointed! The staff was super friendly and attentive. The decor was fun. We will definitely be back... This will be one of those places we bring our guests to! Amazing food!

The food was amazing! It is more like a bar layout of a restaurant and I’m not a fan of bars so I was uncomfortable in that atmosphere but it is a wonderful place to get food!

Must eat restaurant if you are visiting Downtown Jonesboro. Steak house quality in a laid back setting. It can be pretty loud but not to the point where you can't hear, but if you don't hear well, you will need to dial in to hold a conversation with a big table. Service is always good and willing to do just about whatever is needed to give you a great experience. Pretty big menu and priced moderately. The ribeye steak is a must order. Parking can be hit or miss. If you know how to parallel park, it really opens up your options. Weekends are more busy than during the week. There is a parking lot for those who have never mastered parallel life. If you only get two things from this review, learn to park in a city, order the steak.

Have been here several times. Food is always great and the service is as well. Great steaks as well as great sandwiches. The crawfish dip is awesome, highly recommend it. Only negative is sometimes you have to circle block a few times to find a parking spot and the parking blot across street is full sometimes. Not that big of a deal, but annoying when it’s raining. Great restaurant and would recommend.

Skinny J's is absolutely and amazing place to eat and to have some good drinks. Food is worth traveling for. Savanna the waitress has been fabulous. Highly recommended to stop and get a full belly.

So I was in the mood for Pasta and my husband wanted a burger. We decided to try Skinny J’s and I am happy we did. I got the seafood pasta and he got the Juicy J burger. Both were cooked fresh and tasted delicious! Staff was super friendly, it was easy to order, and easy to pick it up. This was well worth the money. The portions were realistic. We will definitely go back.

Amazing service, amazing food, awesome location. We drive from Memphis to eat here, and it was worth the drive. I suggest you try the cheese fries appetizer, they were to die for.

I always enjoy the food here and the staff is wonderful! What I love the most about this place is the music volume. It’s consistently at the perfect level.

We recently moved to the area, and a co worker suggested Skinny Js, and WOW. We will definitely be going back. We got the Ruben egg rolls; ribeye, and loaded chilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. 10/10 recommend.

Great Food, Live Music, and Local Beers

A good selection of beers, lots of local brews, with a happy hour to boot.

Food was great and reasonably priced. Loaded chicken was amazing. As was the Bacon Mac and Cheese.

Music was a little loud for the small space but appreciated.

It seemed like trucker hats were mandatory for any male who entered. Those without, may feel a little out of place. Or maybe it was just the clientele who frequent the establishment. Almost scary.

I would definitely recommend for dinner, beer, and live music!

Great place with a cool atmosphere. Nice place to grab a couple cocktails and a bite to eat. We had the fried green tomatoes which were really good. I had the Cuban sandwich with chips and hubby had the Nora Js burger, both were delicious.

Omgosh. So good. We will have to come back and try other stuff. The heart attack, cheese steak, and the rueben rolls were excellent.

Skinny J's in NLR is hands down, my most favorite restaurant in Central Arkansas. So visiting the one in Jonesboro, while in town for the weekend, was a no brainer. As suspected, this location was phenomenal, too! So much so, that we ate brunch there 2 days in a row last weekend, Saturday AND Sunday. Love this restaurant so much!
