Mud Street Cafe

Unique spot for breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly and helpful. My group got the Mud Bowl, Cajun Chicken Salad, Hummus Salad, and Pancakes. All were good portioned and delicious. They have self serve coffee w many flavors. It is a great place to stop and eat when you visit Eureka Springs!🤙

Love this place! A great vibe and excellent customer service. They have built a wonderful team here of front-of-house and back-of-house staff they work hard, efficiently, and truly care about the customers. I enjoyed a nice pot of loose leaf tea and english muffin. Everyone here were enjoying their food. Self serve coffee and free refills with food. The atmosphere in this little basement gem is wonderful - plenty of seating in a variety of set ups and table sizes. Love the couch seating with coffee table. I sat and watched their team in action from up at “the bar” and smiled at how good this place is. I wish I had found it earlier in the week I am here. I’ll be back tomorrow for tea AND lunch before heading home.

This is a table service restaurant that happens to serve lattes. Y’all. Don’t do what I did and just march up to the counter. Your food will come to you in a to-go container. 😆😆😆

This awesome underground Cafe was open this morning , Ya'll ! Freezing cold outside and they had the fresh hot coffee brewing , warm delicious muffins & bright smiles. My fav" is the chicken croissant sandwich & coffee !

Right when you walk you feel the amazing atmosphere and are greet by everyone. Coffee is self serve which is very nice and also have many selections. I tried the pecan flavored first which was an eye opener. Ordered the all meat omelet and did not disappoint. Portions are larger than I though which is always a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend coming here if visiting the area. Can't wait to come back.

This quaint cafe serves as a cool underground place to have a yummy bite to eat after roaming the streets of Eureka Springs. We had a wrap and burgers. Check out the coffees , they were pretty good too. I wasn't as crazy about the peanut butter pie as some people seem to be, but everything else was spot on! I'd put it at the top of the list for casual dining in ES!

The food and service was spectacular. Large portions of food. The coffee was the bomb.

Oh my goodness. This was our first morning waking up at the lofty lookout, a cute little quant treehouse my husband and I stayed at for my birthday this year. And this was the first place I chose to eat. We were very pleased w my decision! We arrived abt 11 am, so it wasn’t really busy but we did wait a few minutes for the bartender/barista to make my husbands coffee and my breakfast Bloody Mary. But we didn’t mind bcus, Our service was gamesome, unfortunately I’m not great w names, but she was spot on. Got our order perfect, got our food out while hot, and smiled the whole time we were there. The sandwich I had was terrific! It was bacon, avocado, well done eggs, white cheese, spring lettuce, tomato, onion, and ‘sunflower seeds’. Wow! What a strange combo, but it fit my tastebuds like no tomorrow. It came w a side of vinaigrette dressing. Amazing guys, even tho idk the name, it was a fantastic sandwich! So look for it on the menu. My husband had scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and fried tators. And that was tasty also. There were no complaints from my husband, which means it WAS a great place to chow. 5 stars from us! 👍

Very nice tucked away basement restaurant that specializes in breakfast from what I could tell. The line was up the stairs from the restaurant entrance and out the door and around the corner of the hosting business front. Once we finally made our way to be seated (25 min later) we were whisked to our seat. This seemed to be a family owned business as workers from all ages were helping out. Our order was taken relatively fast and with a restaurant full of people our order was out in around 15min (wow). Two Mud City Breakfast orders, one sausage the other bacon. Order was delivered correct first time and delicious. Bacon cooked to a done, crisp, but not burnt perfection. Sausage appeared to be home made, very thick consistency and seasoned perfectly for breakfast. The Cottage Potatoes were cooked to perfect consistency to eat individually or fork together with the sausage or eggs. You cannot go wrong with the Pancakes here, the best in Eureka Springs! If I am ever in the area again will revisit for lunch!

Busy but very attentive. Decor was pretty cool. The mud bowl was delicious and would definitely recommend. Iced mocha latte hit the spot. Maybe a little less whip cream😉

So good! We ate breakfast here on 4/1/23. Delicious omlet, decadent peach coconut muffin and the fresh fruit cup was as good as it looks, better actually. Enjoyed it so much we ate breakfast at their annex the following day.

We had an excellent breakfast here! Great coffee, fantastic meal, and wonderful dessert! The staff was very friendly and upbeat as well. No surprise to hear that Mud Street Cafe has been nominated and won so many awards in the food service industry. They deserve it! Thank you!

(Vegan Reviewer) Highly recommend this place! I had the hummus salad - it was AMAZING!!! Fresh hummus made in house and had great flavor. They also have a veggie burger in the menu. Enjoyed excellent service and prices were low to moderate. Their coffee was also excellent and they have almond, coconut, and soy milk

Morning drinks and breakfast was very well served. Food is exceptional, staff seemed very polite and timely; especially since they opened to a full house line waiting outside at 8am. A true gem of eureka. The basement style dwelling adds an atmosphere of warmth an possitve vids. The diversity of characters consists of locals and travels, making this joint a cultural melting pot.

I fell in love with this place instantly. The music and vibe was so refreshing. The food was so good I couldn’t stop eating. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely be going back this weekend.

I really wish I would have tried this on my first day of Eureka Springs. The food was so wonderful, tasted fresh. I probably would have eaten there twice. I definitely will be back. I had Chef Scramble so many wonderful ingredients. I have them add ham to it and it was fantastic flavoring. My husband had the ham and cheese omelette with the cheesy grits. The grits have cajun seasoning but are not overly spicy. I can't handle a lot of spices and they were perfect. Love the choices in different coffees. Or you can get lattes if you choose. Love love this place.
Jump forward two years I came back. I ate here twice my whole weekend stay. Nothing has changed still fantastic!!

Great place to go for breakfast. The coffee was fantastic and you get to enjoy it all day long just so long as you have your coffee cup from the café. So on a cool fall day keep you warm and going. The omelette was good as well as The pancakes. All in all very good place for breakfast and Eureka. It is downstairs but not too tough on the knees and worth it.

The atmosphere was great! The decorations, the paintings, the music. The menu was also really interesting, good breakfast menu and good vegetarian selections. We ordered strawberry cheesecake and mocha and it was great. Really like to go back!

Fantastic atmosphere, staff, and food. Well worth the short wait! I had a great mimosa, a veggie packed chicken Caesar wrap, and he had the au jus and helped himself to the coffee (love their system for coffee!). He also had a piece of the Reese’s pie afterwards (which I stole a bite of) and it was super tasty as well. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
