I absolutely love the baked good from Mayflour - I've walked in and purchased daily items from the case and have preordered items for holiday festivities. We had the most amazing carrot cake ever on Easter. I also love the small bite size scones - I order them and throw them in the freezer and pop them out throughout the week. I highly recommend the food here. The coffee is excellent too! The food is wholesome and yummy.

Stumbled upon this place after going to a shop next door. It was toward the end of the night so they were limited on treats but we still got a cookie and a hot drink. I love the minimal clean look and had no idea they were herb farmer just happed to over hear a conversation. I can’t wait to go back to try more of the treats and soft serve that changes regularly.

Enchanting coffee spot. Almost feels like a secret garden. Lovely baked goods and expertly brewed coffee. Perfect in it's simplicity and minimalist disposition.

A gem of the north shore. I have always sought out soft serve in all my travels and the earl grey and honey flavors she had there were so rich velvety and tasty. Simply perfect really.

I hear the flavors change but that just means i’ll be back soon!

Warm and inviting bakery. I had a pour-over Sumatra coffee, a cardamom roll, and a blueberry ginger scone all of which were delicious. I was served by a happy first-day employee being coached by the baker. We brought back breakfast for the house.

A true local gem. Years ago I had the honor of getting a Mayflour cake for my wedding celebration, it was loved by everyone. The new shop in Essex is so beautiful. Everything is worth indulging in. The highest quality ingredients are sourced and everything is SO delicious. My kids love the hot cocoa and homemade marshmallows in the winter and the spritzers in the summer. I love the coffee or chai.

I worked with Jocelyn on my wedding cake and she did an incredible job. She was very easy to work with through the whole process and delivered what I was hoping for and more. The cake was beautiful and so tasty. Our guests raved about it and I've been enjoying the leftovers ever since the big day :) Highly recommend Jocelyn and Mayflour!

The rhubarb scone was simply exquisite, the coffee cake was full of flavours and the cold brews were the perfect afternoon energy booster on our roadtrip. Well worth the stop, lovely little coffee shop, with attention to all the little details.

Living in a tiny little New England town known as a food destination we are always excited when a new brand arrives. When we learned that this shiny little gem was going to relocate to Essex we were overjoyed. However the reality of having them just a few blocks from our house has been even better than the dream. A quiet spot to take a break in a hectic world every morsel they produce is pure heaven. That they support worthy organizations like the Surfrider Foundation is a bonus. Five stars are not enough for this glorious new arrival!

Lovely bakery, delicious treats and good coffee. Too small inside but I hope they get their patio area opened soon. Lovely little garden in back too.

I went here a week ago, and I’m still dreaming of the cherry scone I had. Amazing. Pour over coffee was great. No espresso, which is a plus. Too many small places try to make espresso with low quality machines, and it tastes terrible. This shop uses what they have and makes the most of it. If I lived in Rockport, I would go here every day.

I am absolutely addicted to the macaroons. I live several states away and have never set foot in the shop, but I buy the macaroons several times a year as gifts to others and gifts to myself. On top of baking some of the best confections I've ever eaten, Jocelyn is unfailingly an utter delight every time in touch. I couldn't recommend this place any more highly!

This place has the BEST pourover coffee and pastry! My favorite is when they have homemade marshmallows to pair with their delicious hot chocolate. Their location is perfect as well, with several independent shops adjacent to them to peruse while you enjoy your coffee.

Mayflour is the sweetest stop in Rockport, a cheery niche filled with Jocelyn's homemade treats of the day and coffee how-you-like-it: rich pour-over, hearty drip, or house-made cold brew, along with a number of other concocted things to drink like Chai and rhubarb sparkler. There is a bench inside that seems to always have a new friend sitting on it, and there are a couple of cafe tables and chairs outside under the tree. This is the ideal place to meet a friend or just to pause. It's amazing how a buttermilk scone, a cup of dark roast coffee and a nice outdoor chair under a tree can make the world a better place. Also, this place takes the sustainable ethos all the way. Style + Conscience + Yummy.

A magical gem in Rockport- home to my favorite lavender treats! Delicious. Everything is just beautiful and delicious. Perfect spot right by the train and other fun shops to peruse, or a short walk to the beach and downtown. Not to be missed!

Lovely little coffee and bake shop could be your to-go, go-to for a delicious pour-over coffee, and truly perfect scone, beach bun, or baked good of the day. This place makes me just so happy. Also, the staff is always lovely.

Such a beautiful little spot. So pink & serene. The last time I went there were cherry blossoms & always such tasty looking pastry offerings & rally good coffee. The marshmallows are AMAZING.

5 star all the way. Great chocolate with marshmallows and yummy olive oil cake! The hospitality is comparable to Japanese "omotenashi". Polite and welcoming..

This little shop just makes me happy. The coffee and treats are prepared with care and somehow, the sunlight always seems to shine in just right. It’s a magical little spot and you should definitely put it on your must-visit list!

Beautiful space with a friendly atmosphere and staff! Their scones are to die for, and make sure to get their home made marshmallows in the winter to go with some delicious coffee!
