Very affordable and tons of heirloom varieties in peppers, tomatoes , and eggplants. They even have pea seedlings! Everything looks grown there, unlike other local nurseries.

Best place for transplants around! I really appreciate that they only sell things that are ready to plant, and don't take advantage of people with spring fever. Lots of flowers and vegetables will be stunted for life if not properly cared for in the seedling stage or if planted outside too early. They care about the success of your garden as much as their own. Patti is an expert and will get your garden off to a great start!

East to access from 133 and so worth it! I was shocked at the size of the veggies for sale. No 2" tall veg at top prices. The varieties of tomatoes, peppers, squash for end of May planting was wide and also affordable. We are all encouraged to support local businesses and this is a no-brainer. High quality, great tagging so you understand what you are buying, knowledgeable staff and at a great price. Grown in-site even better. Can't wait to go back as more items are 'ready for purchase.

Blue Moon Farm in Essex, MA is a fabulous spot for the healthiest, most beautiful vegetable starts and herbs for your garden. Patti Byrne, the owner/operator is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to help each and every customer. Be sure to check out the gorgeous Benary's Giant Zinnias she grows in a wide arrange of colors. I highly recommend!
