We were a table of ten, had incredible service and the food was epic!! Highly recommend! The menu caters to whatever you want from sushi to spaghetti bolognese! Desert was insane too! Our waitress Carolyne was warm and friendly! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I were in Gloucester for a day and came here for lunch. The experience was fantastic. First the bartender( owners daughter. Sorry I forgot your name) Was amazing. Very personable and engaging. Told us the history of her parents and running the restaurant. She also makes one of the BEST margaritas I have ever had but be careful they sneak up on you after a couple. My husband had the Cod loin with a cherry sauce and I had the tuna tartar. Both we throthoughly enjoyed are meals. The chef is extremely creative and talented.

My family and I came to this restaurant in search of some good food and we got just that. Their appetizers, main courses and deserts are fantastic. Not to mention the service was amazing as well. Caroline is so hospitable.

We went on a weekday for lunch, the place was not crowded and service was fast. Food was delicious. Fried calamari was very nice, kids loved the Mac n cheese. Lobster and Cod fish was also very delicious.

The owners of this restaurant are 2 generations of a family from Brazil who spent years working in fine dining in Boston and Gloucester, learning every kind of world cuisine, from Asia to Europe to the US and their native South America before opening their own restaurant right before COVId hit. The father, who had not even boiled water when they left Brazil 25 years ago, now has a repertoire of 600 soups alone! Anyway, they made it through the pandemic thank God, and in addition to the spectacular food at a very fair price, the ambience is warm and inviting. This is the kind of place you can take your family and friends and linger over good food and wine. You will all want to taste each other's food. I don't even know what to recommend first because it's all so good but ok, the lobster bisque is the best I have ever tasted and the flan with orange marmelade drizzled on top is an ingenuous Brazilian/Latino/American fusion! I highly recommend Olivers Harbor to any and everyone who loves delicious food made and served with joy and love.

Amazing place!!! Every single aspect of the experience was wonderful; since being greeted and seated, every interaction with the servers and most of all, the exquisite food. Best fish in the north shore, hands down. Presentation, taste, texture, fresh ingredients, literally everything. Definitely a must for Gloucester locals and visitors.

Also, this is a Portuguese-friendly environment, since most employees are bilingual and have the unmatched Brazilian charisma.

My first time here with my aunt. The place is very clean, organized, & beautiful interior. Food is delicious, service made my aunt & I feel very welcomed. I will absolutely be returning here for future dine -ins & highly recommend this restaurant!

I wanna thank Caroline and other staff who helped to keep my stuff for a week until I got back to take it. The best service and special and tasty salmon. Will definitely visit it again.

The Cod is spectacular!! With smashed potatoes,olives that taste softy and present at the same time. and about the Cod natural oils ? Divine!

Food and service are spectacular. Really nice atmosphere as well. I'll be back the next time I'm in Gloucester for sure. We had Caroline O as a waitress and she was amazing. All of the staff really goes out of their way to be friendly. The lamb ravioli was excellent. They have alot of different things on the menu you won't find at other restaurants.

We went in late in the evening. Even though there were only a few patrons there, the waiter was so welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious. Good vibes, great food!

Another great meal at Oliver's. We have not gotten a bad meal yet. I love the atmosphere where restaurant remains quiet, even when busy, due to layout of tables and dividers between booths. The bar is separated from the restaurant by glass, an aesthetically appealing design that allows for quiet dining for those who prefer. Tonight we had the PEI mussels for an appetizer. They were exquisite. The pan seared cod over ginger squash mash was delicious. The cod and shrimp on top was cooked to perfection and the ginger squash mash was savory, delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Though not a cheap place to eat, the food is excellent, and the portions are ample. We always leave feeling like we got an excellent meal for the price.

Delicious meal! The baked haddock special melted in my mouth! Our server was a huge help, so sweet and efficient. The live music was fantastic! I could listen to him all night

Driving from Salem, Mass to Maine, we found Oliver's. Very nice, clean, great menu..we didn't drink, as we were driving..but their selection was extensive.
Food was very good, both in taste and presentation, and very fair priced.
Service with a smile,...was both very attentive and courteous.

We were able to get a reservation for six here through open table, when other places in the area were booked. Food was good, with unique options like lamb ravioli. Everyone cleaned their plates!

Came to this fabulous restaurant. Food was spectacular , prices are good and the service was great. A family owned restaurant that cares. Just loved it. Come and try and enjoy.
