Just Hooked

This is a great spot to grab some seafood for dinner. I had a giant cioppino with clams, oysters, and much more, and it was excellent. And given the location it was really fresh as well. It was my first time ever actually trying clams and oysters and I will say that this dish really gave me a good introduction to them. Service was good and it was all packaged in a nice, clean spot just a couple blocks from the ocean. I'd recommend this spot for anyone in the area looking for fresh seafood.

Food was excellent! Started out with tasty drinks...the Summer Blackberry Mule was delicious. We had Drunken Mussels for our appetizer and it didn't disappoint! My husband said that they should put a straw in there so you can slurp up all the good broth at the bottom! I had the special for the day - the halibut. It was very tasty! And I love cheesy grits! My hubby had the tuna and he finished every bite. A very creative dish with kimchi! Unfortunately, we were too full for coffee or dessert. But if you go, get there early....the bar filled up quickly and by 6 o'clock the place was pretty well packed. I totally recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience!

We went here when they open at 4:30 to avoid large crowds due to Covid. Happy hour was from 4:30-6 and we got the Sangria special which was delicious and had a little cinnamon spice which was different than most sangrias I've had before, and I am picky about my sangria. I had the Cioppino which was incredible. So much fresh seafood and the broth was perfect for dipping the toasted garlic bread in. One of my favorite meals in the OC/Fenwick area. Highly recommend Just Hooked!

Recommended by hotel staff across the street. Glad I went... OMG the food is good. The Poutine is unique in that they use hot malted vinegar instead gravy and it gives it a wonderful tart kick. So damned good and the textures were awesome! The Pork white beans were outrageously good too. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Will return. Many thx!!

I had a nice dinner with my son here. The service was good and the good was better. I'd certainly revisit this or any of the others in this group of restaurants.

So we decided for our 30th Anniversary to visit Fernwick Island and stay a the local Hilton. We were looking for a nice Restaurant to celebrate and came across this one. To our surprise it was across the street. I have to tell you. The food 🥘 and the sea food 🍲 is finger licking good. The bom bom shrimp 🍤 was out of this world 🌎. This is now our new hangout when we come to Fernwick Island. The owner was so pleasant and the staff was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and beautiful decor. A+++ Establishment.

Delicious! I had a strawberry watermelon white sangria, short-ribs risotto, simple salad, and key lime pie.

Great food, we (family of 5) all had very different meals and shared. The crab chowder was one of the top 5 chowder we have ever had. (We have had chowder from more then 300 restaurants/ competitions? The shrimp and grits had great spice, the tuna poke bowl was excellent. The coconut muscles were delicious. The cioppino was fantastic cooked perfectly. I know they don't take reservations just drive over and wait it's worth it. You might be surprised and get right in , we were.

We had a party of 3, no wait, on a Wednesday evening. The staff was very nice, along with the atmosphere. Our server was very open and honest, and provided excellent service. Two of us got the fried chicken, which was excellent, and I got the salmon which also was excellent. From the drinks to the key lime pie dessert, our entire experience here was ,what can I say, but Excellent!!! We will definitely be back for another round of excellence!!! My only advice to the Mgr is the Stella draft I had was Not Cold enough. I like it Cold, not just cool.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner here. I was so impressed by every aspect of our meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was GREAT! I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had the catch of the day. There was no doubt that there is a lot of attention to detail. I will definitely be returning next time we are in the area and would highly recommend to anyone searching for a good quality meal in a restaurant with a great environment.

Lovely, gem of a smaller restaurant. Perfect date pm w/husband. Our Server Mikala was wonderful & helpful. Food was perfection (ahi tuna done just as requested) & paired well. Appetizer was also Perfect. 1/2 off wine bottle was also nice! It's the place to be especially off season!! Thanks chefs & staff. We will be back.

Six of us got there at 5:00 on a Saturday to enjoy an awesome happy hour. Family style appetizers and several rounds of drinks. Mussels in curry sauce, vegetable flatbread with balsamic drizzle and spicy wings were all outstanding. Will be back!

Always interesting and tasty choices at Just Hooked. Plenty of happy hour specials. The Burnt Ends, wings and shrimp and fish tacos were all delish! Even opting for beers not on the specials list, the entire meal was a great deal.

It's really hard not to love Just Hooked. The food and service is great. The fish is always fresh and really well prepared. The specials and happy hours are worth the drive from Lewes. They're not afraid to season and know how to make great plates. The staff are all gracious, friendly and helpful. The only sad part, in season, were certain that this great restaurant will be so busy that we'll not be able to visit as often as we do in the off season.

We had a wonderful meal. Love the new menu and I am looking forward to trying some of the other items!
As usual, "D" was terrific! I had the new wonderful sticky wings app and the surf and turf. They were great. My friend had the new crispy shrimp app and they were great! Also loved her Surf and turf!

Delicious! Get the boom boom shrimp, will change your life. Our server was super attentive(Cant remember his name). My wife got the blackberry mule and it was super strong... So be careful 😅. We got burger and fries because it was a $8 special on Monday. Was great.

Try the house hot sauce. It's fantastic.

Since the first year you opened, it has been our MUST do dinner spot. My husband adored your key lime pie.Well everything on the menu. My husband passed this summer, so my girls are bringing me down on Monday to celebrate his life and the great memories you gave given us every summer. Can't wait to enjoy you outstanding service and excellent food. A place we will always treasure.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere and cleanliness were excellent. This restaurant was in a resort area in the off season and it was unusually busy for a Tuesday night. Many of the other area restaurants are closed on Tuesday during the off season. Our server (Ann) had approximately 9 tables with larger parties, yet she was able to provide attentive service, offered a second round of wine, and checked back with us when we received our entrees. Ann also offered us a sample of the featured wines to help us select the most appealing wine for us. The manager sat our party and checked back with us several times during our visit. Additionally, the restaurant had a food runner who used proper pivot points so he did not have to auction off our food. The pace of the meal was appropriate and the courses came out at the perfect time so we never felt rushed. The Old Bay Crab Dip with soft pretzels appetizer was cheesily delicious. We were offered a dessert, but declined only because we were too full. Portion size was generously appropriate. We arrived at about 5:30 and left around 7:15 and the restaurant was on a small wait. Altogether a very pleasant dining experience and we will definitely be back again.
