St Church Patricks is a great parish church. It is a beautiful small church with an attached parish center.

After reading the negative reviews here, I see people have blamed someone else for their lack of commitment as a Catholic. The excuses and finger pointing are deflecting the fact that there are expectations to meet the standards of the church. You're not willing to abide by them but then get mad when your demands aren't granted. I expect some more complaing moving forward so you can try to justify why you didn't hold up your end of the bargin as a Catholic .God bless.

I was very disappointed that my granddaughter was turned away because she couldn’t go to church every week due to work, she wanted to be a sponsor for her brother, she is a good Catholic she went to church all the time made her sacraments and because once in a while and she couldn’t make mass or remember the new priest name she was turned away he disappointed me as a Catholic and I hope it didn’t turn her away from the church.
We should be encouraging to young to be church go is not discouraging them .

Disappointing to say the least. Father Fitzpatrick may have a degree in theology but he should of taken a few in public relations. What should of been something simple and a happy day ended with being spoken down to and being told this a load of BULL. As he suggested to my son we should seek out another parish because we aren’t the kind of Catholics he wants in his church which are people who go to church every Sunday .

Father Fitzpatrick is the most condescending man I have ever met in my entire life!! He is driving people away from the catholic religion with his negative attitude and his flip remarks!! I have been a member of St. Louis de France my entire life and will not attend mass there until this prehistoric priest is reassigned!!! God help all of us!!

Extremely dissapointed and today for the second time in a week i questioned my faith due to the words of the priest at this parrish father fitzpatrick.

My wife and i who have never been married before, compromised as any good couple does and were married outside the church due to the fact that her dream wedding was an outdoor wedding and thats exactly what we did under the agreement that we would have our marriage blessed by the catholic church which was and still is very important to both of us and we wanted to do this on my grandmothers 50th anniversarry of her marraige because she is getting blessed the same day. However we both do not make it to church as often as we would like unfortunately life gets in the way and working 70-80 hours a week leaves little time or flexibility to do anything but when possible we would go to church and have done so about once a month to twice a month over the last 7 months with the exception of last month and the month prior being extremely busy with the wedding and honeymoon last minute planning family staying with us from out of town etc.

Fast forward to 7 am mass this past sunday i asked to speak with father fitzpatrick after mass that myself and my whole family had attended and made our request to have our marriage blessed in the church the response i recieved was concerning and disheartening at best. I was told that i was the person that was trying to back door my way into getting blessed and that the pedro lady kept calling or whatever her name was (my grandmothers name is tina) i was then asked if i completed marraige classes and i did say i didnt feel that the classes where neccesarry at which point i was told that i couldnt have that opinion and asked where i went for my theology degree. Also said that he would have to deal with my anullment etc etc etc which i thought was extremely unproffesional I left there extremely angry but maintained my composure.

Today november 13th i decided ti speak to fr fitzpatrick again. I figured he had a bad day due to the fact that he his human like all of us or that maybe he misunderstood what my request was and recieved more hostility over the phone. I was told the way to be a good catholic was by attending church every sunday and that being a good person and practicing the teachings outside church was not enough. He stated thats what seperates us from other churches and if i felt different that he was sure a presbyterian or baptist church down the road would take me. He also stated they are looking for catholics who attend every week and they were not looking for catholics like myself and my wife and that he would not water down the catholic faith for anyone.

This man was almost the reason i left the catholic church and i know i am not the only one i frew up catholic and went to catholic schools where i was taught to be a good catholic you need to excersice the teachings outside the church with your peers and you can attend church as much as youd like and still potentially not be a good catholic depending on your actions outside of church. Luckily a church that i used to attend has a very nice priest who was greatly disheartened by what i went through and this is where i will be attending mass from now on.
I by no means am a bad or unreasonable person i am a former army national guard infantryman a businessman and someone who holds my faith and family dear

The church needs to realize we are all human and that life happens.....

This new priest Father Fitzpatrick has singlehandedly torn apart this church with his condescending attitude, hypocrisy, and mockery of priesthood. Horrible how he has tainted such a wonderful and lasting legacy.
