The food was amazing and big portion sizes! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is perfect! We enjoyed our meals!

First time visit. Definitely casual which was great. I had my first lobster roll of the year and it was fantastic. The Cole slaw was delicious as well. My wife had the chicken finger basket which was also delicious. What she didn't finish at lunch I finished at supper that evening. The chicken was nice and tender. The next time we are in Amesbury we will definitely stop in.

Update as of 6/2/23: The Barn continues to impress. We visit often when in this area. High Five to Jeannie who is most often our bartender!

Original Review: We were told to come here for the past several years. Finally made it. Great people and great food. Now it’s my turn to recomend it!! Leslie at the bar was exceptional!

The service was swift, staff was very friendly, food was delicious and nicely portioned.. plus the prices were reasonable. I've never gotten a lobster roll for under $20 until now.. a nice fat loaded roll with two sides for under $20? Heck yeah! Both my husband and I thought the food was excellent and will be having another lunch date there soon.

Leo and his entire staff go above and beyond for the customer. We had an office event here and the waitress we had, Jamie was fantastic. The drinks and food were delicious. The set up was easy and communication up to the night was great. We couldn't recommend having an event here more!

Great for gluten free! Delicious and affordable. Don’t worry about the old decor inside—the place is clean, the owner is usually available and helping, food is memorable.

Awesome little place. People are friendly, down to earth and the food is solid. Prices are good too! Great choice for a quick comfort meal. If I was from the area I'd come visit this place more often.

We got Lobster roll. They were wonderful. Came with OR or FF and coleslaw. Great service. Even with just the bartender. Everything was awesome.

I’ve been at several functions and the owners have been generous in allowing a local charitable organization I’m a member of use their space. Great location, plenty of parking and delicious affordable food. The staff and especially the function room bartender are always fabulous! I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

Great little bar with delicious gluten friendly bar food, friendly staff, happy regulars, and a quaint fun atmosphere.

Been coming here for years since we discovered this gem, having friends join us while we are traveling through.

Usually even the most accommodating restaurants don't have anywhere near the number of gluten friendly options as this place and they do a great job of making it delicious while they are at it

Last night me and my boyfriend went to the barn around 6/7pm and was waited on by the most lovely woman ever, I didn’t catch her name but she was beyond friendly and truly made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of, her along with the good quality food for a really good price is why this will be a frequent spot for me and my boyfriend, thank you to the amazing cook and waitress that made our night amazing.

What a great lunch menu! Had the panko haddock sandwich with steak fries which was amazing! My husband had the Italian wedding soup with a BLT which was also delicious. Great draft selection at the bar. Enjoyed very much and we will certainly return.

The Barn pub is a great local haunt it's a very unassuming "bar centric" place where the regulars watch every face that comes through the door (you have to walk through bar to get to the dinning area but it's worth the trip) best handmade burger I've had in a long time! Actually cooked the way I asked for (med-rare) this 1/2 pound monster was tasty! even the steak fry's were great! Much to the wife's joy and surprise they also have a completely separate gluten free menu of delicious apps and entrees highly recommend going (just don't where a suit lol)

Love the food here! Great gluten free menu that my wife enjoys. I've had such great experiences here that I'm at the point where I just say to Leo, "pick something and cook it." Highly recommend!

These guys have the best gluten-free fish 'n chips in New England. In fact, they have the best gluten-free menu around. We found this place with the 'Find Me Gluten Free' app on Android. We either stop in or order take out a few times a month. People are always friendly and the food is amazing. There's not a lot of seating for families, but it's still a lot of fun.

Such a great time with my husband. We found it on the way home from the beach and so happy we did! Found us a great drink we could both shared together while playing cards. Great Bar!!
