Blu Karma

All I remember is the place being a Kentucky Fried Chicken and now I walk in there and it's a completely different chill inviting calming yet hip atmosphere with friendly service that greeted us immediately at the door we were seated within seconds and served very promptly everything we got was absolutely amazing! My husband's first time trying doc we got the mango crusted duck it was incredible! The pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp served in a half of a pineapple shell was fresh flavorful and delicious never mind my obsession with raw oysters on the half shell they were wonderful nice and fresh and the chicken teriyaki tempura Maki was also delicious definitely hit the spot definitely will be going back! A tad pricey but well worth it!

Once again an amazing meal. The food is the absolute best! I cannot stress enough, try Blu Karma! This restaurant has been serving the best quality food for years and we have never been disappointed! Evan and Tina have continued to provide the very best in Danvers and all of the North Shore by far!

We ordered soft -shelled crab, sushi, chili wonton and fries rice. The foods were extremely delicious and the vibe was awesome. There’s outdoor dining options also.

This place is well known for sushi and takeout food. If you haven't tried the eat-in experience, I recommend it. The eat-in feels slightly elevated, though the only negative to it is that it is so small inside and the staff has nowhere to be except for the bar, which can feel a bit like crowding (not their fault, it just is what it is). We specifically came for the duck, which we have had in the past. This time, we got the mango crispy duck, and it was A+, just perfectly cooked and crispy yet tender. We also got spicy dumplings, which was a special. We loved them. In addition, we had the lo mein, which was fair. It seemed a bit oily for my tastes and lacked flavor. The scallion pancakes were fine, but served with a soy based sauce and not a plum sauce, which isn't typical around here. The cheese Rangoon (crab) was ok too. Overall, I can say for certain we will be back for that duck and the sushi (didn't have it this time, but consistently some of the best around). The drinks are also well made.

Been here several times and it is consistently delicious. Both Japanese and Chinese dishes are amazing. Our regular picks/favs: grey goose mai tai's, scorpion bowl, Lady in red maki, blu karma maki, toro double dip maki, cupid's arrow maki, miso soup, and of course the love boats. We've never had a bad meal here. The quality and presentation are always top notch.

Delicious fresh sushi. Our family favorite is the Splash of Summer roll with the lemon on top.

exquisite establishment, to say the least, I met up with some old friends of mine and had an absolutely great time throwing bricks at passing cars from the outside dining section. I enjoyed the beer and other alcoholic beverages that were served. I recommend blu karma to anyone wanting to have a great time.

North of Boston, there is no other place that competes with Blu Karma! Their Sushi and Asian menu are bar none...the BEST!

This restaurant is always busy, their service is amazing (love the people here, always accommodating) and the food is incredible whether dining in, take out and delivery for small or larger crowds!

We host a New Year's Day party for family and friends and EVERYONE looks forward to coming to enjoy the delicious Sushi and Asian food. Their Sushi (especially the Special Maki) is the BEST and their Sushi Boats are a work of art! Everyone LOVES the food, it arrives fresh, on time and sets a positive tone for a fun afternoon of friends, family, card games and lots of laughs...truly a special memory!

I met Tina (owner), many years ago and she has been gracious and always willing to suggest ideas and to deliver to Gloucester...we have enjoyed Blu Karma for 7+ years on New Year's Day, several family/friend summer parties and even work events. The service they provide and their food is top notch!

I stopped by a couple days ago, Tina was out and Katy took over! Such a seamless transition...Katy has been so helpful in planning and suggesting some new dishes to try...and of course a Sushi Boat with popular choices. Katy has worked there for many years as well...this tells you a LOT about what a wonderful business and place to dine this is!

I also want to thank the Chef and the Kitchen team for the care you provide to our order to ensure everyone enjoys (and appreciate your special accommodations for GF and other requests)...and they do! I also want to thank our delivery driver who has been there every year on New Year's - Happy New Year and THANK YOU ALL!

As much as my family loves the food, we won't be ordering anymore. I always pay with a card for delivery and give a cash tip. Today after placing an order, the owner I believe called to ask if I would be paying cash for the tip?!?! It was extremely offputing. I told her I always tip in cash. If my daughter didn't know I placed the order, I would have canceled it. It was just so rude. I found out that several other people I know have received a call with the same question asked. Gross.

Absolutely LOVE Blu Karma. My fiancè and I have been ordering takeout since the pandemic. We have been impressed every time.

Just last week we placed a large order for my daughter's 10th birthday. She requested sushi and that's what she got. They organized all of our choices by name and in individual containers. Amazing. You would think we had several people with the amount we got, nope...just six. 😂 We ordered online and had it delivered. Within 45 minutes it was at our door and the gentleman that delivered it was so friendly.

Also, I love the individual containers of soy sauce.

My daughter said she was in heaven and that "sushi is life".

So happy to have found this place! First time here and won't be the last. Service was great and food was delicious. We had sushi and if your not great with chopsticks, they provide trainers that attach to them to help make it easy to use.

Best Chinese food around -- hands down. I love this place so much. The food is soooo fresh and delicious!

This place is so good! Words cant even describe. First time here last night and won’t be the last. Everything is so fresh, clean, delicious and cooked very well. This is a must go! Great service, great food and awesome atmosphere… it can’t get better than this! Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent all around. Would be great to keep this place a secret because it's small but they deserve the positive reviews. I hope they open a larger location near Salisbury!! Can't wait to go back again.

We had a lovely experience at Blu Karma.
Food was served quickly, in the proper order. Though just a little pricey, I feel like we got very good value for the money.

Food was excellent. I recommend the Spicy Tuna Roll.

Very very good food. Quality is superb. Service is also phenomenal. The Chicken Katsu Bento Box during the daily lunch specials time is a fantastic value for the price, given the high quality. Maybe the best chicken katsu I’ve ever eaten.

The world that pops in my mind is Delicious 1st time here celebrated my birthday outside with my friends it was very beautifully decorated the mood the scene inside and out clean welcoming friendly staff the food was to die for so fresh well-made the chicken wings omg yumm the seafood salad the sushi the rice the lowmein that had zucchini cooked to perfection the mango Mai Thai 😋 this place was so worth it 👌 definitely recommend it to any and everyone will definitely go again I couldn't have had a better time and the food couldn't be anymore perfect

We love eating here. The service is great and so is the atmosphere. The food is off the chain.
Best Chicken Katsu that we've had Massachusetts. It is super tender and tasty. The Bemto Boxes rock! Our favorite.
The Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Beef Mingolian - Dang Son - let me get some more of that!

The sushi is Oishi. Highly recommend!
