Fountain place restaurant

This is such a cute diner and I understand why it is so popular. The server was really kind, the portions are ginormous, and the coffee will definitely wake you up.

I was able to try corned beef here for the first time and it was an... interesting experience lol.

Looking out the big windows early in the morning is definitely a great way to start your day in Salem!

Eggs cooked exactly how I wanted them (not a fan of runny whites), which not many places do. The bacon was nice and crispy, and the home fries were well seasoned. The corned beef hash/swiss omelette was a nice big size and could probably feed 1.5 people. Nice cozy location right in the heart of Salem downtown!

It's a restaurant situated on the corner of the street. With sitting inside and outside.
We chose inside due to were looking for a cozy space to enjoy our meal.
After deciding what we were gonna get me.. ( the Florentine eggs benny) my friend the (Irish eggs benny) and why not we got the ( Nutella stuffed French toast) . And we got them really fast. Even that the placed was packed. And our waiting in line wasn't that long. We had a great time. We were just amazed on the delish side potatoes. They were just perfect and well seasoned. So goood. I loved my eggs benny . The egg cooked to perfection. A perfect consistency of the hollandaise sauce. Mmm I can't even stop thinking about . Lol but truly a good place for Breakfast.
I'm glad I let my friend choose this place 😌.
I'm sure I will go back again sometime.

Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through Salem. Great little find. Simple good food, comfortable environment and friendly staff made this a great experience for my family and me.

The menu was full of great options for everyone to include egg white scrambles and other healthy choices. The servings were larger to the point that my wife and teenage son could not finish there meals. For us that is a good thing, lol.

The food had great flavor and was priced right.

It is a smaller location with no actual waiting area inside the restaurant so you may need to wait a few minutes to get seated. When we went here they said that it would be 20 minutes but we were seated in under 10.

It is located on a main street as well as near all shops.

If you are looking for something good and simple, this just might be your choice.

Very good breakfast. The eggs Benedict with home fries was a great way to start the day. Our waitress Holly was very nice and attentive.

Good quality food, we had Ann as a server who did a great job, and as with the price, a little bit too expensive compared with other places with some quality but at least 35% cheaper. I recommend especially the French toast filled with Nutella it is to die for it.

BEST BREAKFAST POTATOES! I loved the seasoning the potatoes were tossed/cooked in. Husband and I split The Big Breakfast bc it came with so much. Definitely recommend stopping in for a small hometown feel. Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

The food and service were absolutely amazing. Can't wait to come back tomorrow for breakfast. Must have the side of potatoes, they are so flavorful and well seasoned. Had the egg Benedict (so perfect) and an omelet. So yummy. Holly was an absolute pleasure, incredibly sweet and it was nice to be greeted with a smile.

Some of the best fries I’ve had in a while and the burger was delicious. Good portions for the price. Friendly service

Hash stuffed grilled cheese and steak tips lunch plate were amazing! Food was delicious and made fast for takeout, staff was friendly and helpful! It's right on Essex street, perfect for stopping in for a meal during your day in town.

They were quick and they were good! Not looking to sit and have breakfast take over an hour when you have all of Salem to see! Left the Ulgt Mug and came here. Exactly what we were looking for before headed out to explore. Everything was great portions were huge and prices were fair. Recommend!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning and couldn't have been more pleased. The Irish Eggs benedict was absolutely fantastic, service was solid. Great breakfast spot.

Went during peak season in October, no wait at all and waitresses were on their game. Food turned out great for all 4 of us. Would return again for sure!

Friendly and fast service; food was generous in portion sizes and I loved the thickness of my turkey club 😁

Awesome! Came here on a Sunday around brunch time so it was very busy, but we didn’t have to wait long! Staff was very quick to clean and serve customers which made for a pleasant experience. Both the big breakfast and classic eggs Benedict were delicious.

Great little spot in Salem, fair prices and great food with great service. Im from california and my wife and i make it a point to stop in every time were in Massachusetts, it os and will always be our first stop

Excellent friendly service. Food was amazing. My son had lunch and I had breakfast. He said "now this is how you make french fries." Prices were extremely fair.

My family and I went there for my sweet 16 brunch. One of the places we ate at while in salem. Our waitress was holly and she did an amazing job, got our food quckly.

Loved this place. Our waitress was excellent; kind, well-spoken and super-prompt. The food was 100% consistent for diner fare with healthy portions and reasonable prices (for Salem on July 4th). Would 100% recommend.
